Patent number: 5267518Abstract: A process and device for monitoring the bobbin thread on stitch-forming machines, on the bobbin of which a residual amount of thread is wound in a winding direction opposite the direction of winding of the principal amount of thread, is to ensure that a first control function will be generated at the beginning of consumption of the residual amount of thread, and a second control function is generated nearly without delay in the case of thread end or thread break. To achieve this, two signal patterns are received with a phase shift from a bobbin acting as a signal generator, and the first signal function is generated in the case of a deviation of the actual phase shift from the desired phase shift. If only one signal pattern is received, this first control function is also generated if its signal sequence deviates from a reference signal sequence. The second control function is generated if a stoppage of the bobbin lasts longer than a predeterminable number of stitches.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 1992Date of Patent: December 7, 1993Assignee: G. Patent number: 5265282Abstract: The actuating device has a vertically displaceable trigger (9) which is mounted on a hood-shaped housing part (6a) of the drain valve (3). A lever (2), whose horizontal axis of rotation (5) is mounted on a float housing (6b), is pivoted with the trigger (9) in one or the other direction of rotation. To induce flushing, the trigger (9) is moved in the downward direction with a release knob (1) against the restoring force of a spring (24). The trigger (9) now engages a pivotable arm (9b), and the lever (2) is pivoted such that a valve tube (4) connected to the lever (2) is raised, and the valve opening (11i) is thus opened. If the release knob (1) is moved once again in the downward direction after a partial flushing, the trigger (9) will engage another pivot arm (2a), and the lever (2) will again be pivoted into the starting position, in which the outlet opening (11i) is closed.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 1991Date of Patent: November 30, 1993Assignee: Geberit AGInventor: Peter Schmucki

Patent number: 5265838Abstract: The invention is related to a hub construction for a rotatable chair, which automatically returns to the initial position when the chair is relieved. The hub construction comprises a vertical shaft (1) fastened to the lower side of the seat of the chair and a hub (2) on the leg portion of the chair, to which hub (2) the lower portion of the shaft (1) is rotatably fastened. The return movement is achieved by means of a cam surface (5) acting in the axial direction and located on the end of a spring loaded sleeve (6) enclosing the shaft (1), which cam surface (5) is arranged to cooperate with a radially directed guide pin (4). The invention is characterized in that the guide pin (4) is fastened to the lower portion of the shaft (3) and that the spring loaded sleeve (6) is mounted torsionally rigidly on the hub (2).Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 1991Date of Patent: November 30, 1993Assignee: F:ma MekrapidInventor: Fredrik Kjellman

Patent number: 5264069Abstract: The device has a support plate (119) provided with drive means (112, 117) for at least one lower part, as well as a plurality of holding plates (85) arranged in one row with an upper receiving surface and a lower receiving surface (93, 94), respectively, for a plurality of upper parts. The holding plates (85) can be rotated through 180.degree. by means of a pivoting device (86, 87, 108) around a symmetrical horizontal axis (L3). After the upper parts have been placed on the holding plates (85), adhesive is applied to the edges of the upper parts, after which the holding plates (85) are pivoted through 180.degree.. The support plate (119) subsequently gathers the upper parts, which are now hanging down, while at the same time the next upper parts can be placed over the receiving surfaces of the holding plates (85), which [receiving surfaces] are now facing upward. The support plate (119) and the holding plates (85) are designed as suction plates that can be turned on and off.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 1991Date of Patent: November 23, 1993Assignee: G. M.
