Abstract: With the splicing get started, braking becomes strong and the old core decelerates, when the capstan roll comes to be free run. The speed reference to the second motor is a summed-up speed of "line speed minus capstan speed" and compensated portion of the tension. At once when the old core starts deceleration, the accumulation roll unit starts moving. The capstan roll is accelerated at a certain rate, when the new core is drawn out, up until the speed reaches "line speed plus overrun speed". When the accumulation roll unit reaches the synchronous position, the overrun becomes "0" and the capstan roll synchronizes with the line speed.

Abstract: A bidirectional control/supervisory system for transmitting control signals from a controller to devices and transmitting supervisory signals from sensors monitoring the devices to the controller through a common transmission line. A transmission/reception control circuit generates a timing signal and a supply voltage of constant level, and converts the voltage into clock pulses having voltage levels differing from the supply voltage. The clock pulses are outputted to the common transmission line under the timing of the timing signals.
Abstract: A steam iron, particularly of the so called "drop-by-drop" type, where in order to cause an instantaneous steam production, the water which is contained in a reservoir (11) incorporated in the iron falls drop-by-drop into a vaporization chamber (2) provided in the inner side of the sole plate (1) of the iron in registry with the heating resistance of the sole plate (1), the so-generated steam being conveyed outwards through holes (7) in the sole plate (1). The iron is constituted by two parts (1,10) which are releasably fastened to each other by a latching device. One of the parts forms the body (10) of the iron, with the handle (110), the water reservoir (11), a portion of the latch, and the portion of the electrical connector with the diverting lug, while the other part forms the sole plate (1) of the iron with the electrical resistance, vaporization chamber (2), another portion of the latch, and the other portion of the electrical connector with the gate.
Abstract: A device for fixing an external part to a shaft, which clam a boll and roller bearing by a washer and a nut. The washer is provided with a plurality of projecting engageable pawls on the outer periphery thereof and a projecting tongue piece on the inner periphery thereof. This tongue piece is inserted into an engageable groove formed in an externally threaded portion of the shaft. The nut has engageable grooves for receiving the engageable pawls of the washer, on the outer periphery thereof. This nut is threadably coupled onto the externally threaded portion of the shaft, thereby the ball and roller bearing is clamped interposing the washer between the bearing and the nut. The tongue piece of the washer is formed in such a manner that, out of the opposite ends in the circumferential direction of the tongue piece, at least the forward end in a direction of rotation of fastening the nut is positioned on the center line or thereabout of the engageable pawl. The shaft may be a hollow shaft.

Abstract: Prevention of incomplete connection of pipes, and easy and visual checking for incomplete connection between the male and female members from the outside, and the prevention of dirt and dust from entering the connection are aimed.
Abstract: A navigation system for guiding unmanned vehicles with any desired wheel configuration without guide wire for free movement on paths and along curves along a virtual reference path having at least one straight and/or curved section. Discrete elements are floor-installed which are in operative connection with a vehicle internal path control device via the vehicle's internal sensory analysis system for correcting the course of the industrial truck. The discrete elements are arranged at spaced locations exclusively along the area of the reference path forming a linear formation chain as navigation reference points P. The distance between the reference points P are either regular or irregular and may be relatively great distances equal to a multiple of the wheel base of the vehicle. The on-board sensory analysis system exclusively determines the distances and measures the distance between the longitudinal axis of the industrial truck and the navigation reference point P.

Abstract: The display of n+m symbols is achieved by means of an upper disk (1a), placed behind an aperture (2) in a cover plate, and of a lower disk (1b), placed behind the upper disk and comprising m sectors. One sector of the upper disk (1a) consists of a transparent window (4), the other n+m sectors of the two disks bearing the symbols.A gear-train (11, 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b) and a control cam (20), set in motion by a rotary driving member (10), cause the disks to rotate in steps of one sector, starting from a position in which the window (4) is located behind the aperture (2), such as to cause first the two disks to move forward together by one step, then the upper disk (1a) to move forward n successive steps, and finally the lower disk (1b) to move forward m-1 successive steps to return to the starting position.A positioning device (30a, 30b, 31a, 31b) blocks the disks (1a, 1b) when they are stationary, and releases them when required to move forward.
Abstract: The invention regards a valvular device for the drawing of compressed air from a stationary tank through a mobile unit. The device has a fixed part 12 connected to the compressed air tank 10 with a coupling pipe union 14 and an inlet valve 16 for the air from the tank to the pipe union 15. The device also has a mobile part 13 on a mobile unit with a drawing nose 21 which is inserted into the pipe union 14 for the drawing of the air to be utilized.
Abstract: A terminal device for miniature motors includes a stator having a field-forming permanent magnet in the inner circumferential surface of a motor case, a rotor having rotor windings wound on a rotor core, and terminals on a case lid made of a synthetic resin. A power-feeding terminal has terminal insertion holes into which insertion-type power-feeding terminals are inserted, and projections are provided which resiliently engage against the terminals and push the terminals. The power-feeding terminals resiliently engage the terminals at locations where the terminals engage against the projections when the power-feeding terminals are inserted along the projections into the terminal insertion holes of the power-feeding terminal.
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a steering column for motor vehicles with an angle-adjustable steering wheel, in which a steering shaft has a lower shaft 1 and an upper shaft 2. These shafts are connected to one another by a universal joint 5 rotatably mounted in a housing. The housing has a lower housing 3, which is attached to the vehicle body, and an upper housing 4, which, in contrast, is movable about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis 11 of the steering column. Both housings form adjustable connection links for the angle adjustment of the steering wheel by connection links which can be motor-driven. The connection link has a worm segment 10 attached to the upper housing 4 and a worm 12 motor-rotatably mounted on the lower housing 3.
