Abstract: Coolant circuit of an internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle, which connects the internal combustion engine, a coolant/air heat exchanger for an interior space of the vehicle, and a combustion gas/coolant heat exchanger of a heater generating heat by combustion. The coolant circuit has a bypass line bypassing the internal combustion engine and a thermostat valve which regulates the return temperature in a predetermined range of adjustment by controlling coolant flow through the bypass line and/or the internal combustion engine. The thermostat valve is provided with at least two valves formed by valve seats and valve sealing elements, especially valve disks, wherein the range of adjustment of the thermostat valve (12) can be modified from the outside.
Abstract: An electron gun and a high tension switch permits the achievement of high-power electron beams which are ON-OFF modulated by DC up to frequencies exceeding kHz. The electron gun has a cathode, at least two accelerating electrodes, a cathode heater, and a possible focussing system. The or each accelerating voltage, generated by any source, which may in the case of space applications also be a tether, is applied between accelerating electrodes and cathode, with the exception of an appropriate accelerating electrode to which there is applied, by of the switch, alternately its accelerating voltage or the same voltage as that of the cathode, obtaining an ON-OFF modulation of the electron beam emitted by the gun.
Abstract: A pressure regulator or pressure element with a valve, whose valve closing body 10 separates an admission pressure chamber 2 from a back pressure chamber 3, has a diaphragm 12 that is under spring pressure in the opening direction of the valve closing body 10. The diaphragm 12 separates the back pressure chamber from a reference pressure chamber 4 which is filled with a gas that is under such pressure that its ability to expand compensates the temperature dependence of the compressive force of the spring in order to compensate the pressing force of the compression spring 13, which changes with changing temperature.
Abstract: A needle selection device for circular knitting machines for women's stockings, including a pusher jacks associated with each of a plurality of needles of a needle cylinder, each pusher jack having two heels including an upper heel interacting, in a selection position, with a lower cam and a lower heel interacting, in a selection position, with a pressure cam, acting in a radial direction with respect to the cylinder, and with a raising cam. A horizontal collar is provided formed of non-magnetic material anchored around the needle, the collar defining a plurality of radial grooves. A plurality of horizontal elastic selector jacks are positioned in one of the radial grooves. A permanently magnetized ring is fastened below the collar, facing the selector jacks, spaced a distance from the selector jacks to retain said selector jacks only when said selector jacks are inclined downwardly.
Abstract: An electric gearshift device (10) for an electric car for children has a lever (12) which can be operated manually to give different electrical connections between an electric motor and sets of batteries, so as to achieve different running conditions. In particular, the device (10) comprises a first two-speed electric selector switch (16) and a second electric reversing switch (15). The lever (12) is movable from a first to a second position to control the movement of the first switch (16), in the second position acting on the first switch (16) with elastically yieldable thrust surfaces (24) to enable the lever (12) to pass said second control position and reach a third position in which it actuates the second switch (15).
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lead edge type paperboard feeding apparatus suitable for a box making machine for corrugated board sheets and the like, and more particularly, provides a paperboard feeding apparatus provided with delivery rolls which deliver paperboards piled up between a front guide and a backstop are delivered successively from the lowest layer, comprising a mechanism which, when the dimension of above-mentioned paperboard reaches a predetermined length and longer, above-mentioned backstop is amde to vary (ascend and descend or incline) automatically interlocking with the variation in length (or interlocking step-wise at a predetermined ratio), or an indexing unit which is able to set a start timing or a stop timing of feeding selectively.
Abstract: The protective casing includes a system of telescopic tubes (26 and 27) that cover a pair of telescopic tubular elements (13 and 14) connecting two universal joints (9 and 11) on a transmission shaft. The inner telescopic tube (26) is fitted with a grease nipple (35) that is connected via a tube (39) to a chamber formed by a bushing (41) and a sealing ring (63). A suitable lubricant can be injected into the chamber, from the exterior, via the grease nipple (35), so that the telescopic tubular elements (13 and 14) can be kept lubricated without this requiring the transmission being uncoupled.
Abstract: A motor vehicle auxiliary heater annular combustion air blower is disclosed having a housing defining a suction side of the blower and a delivery side of the blower. The housing also defines a mounting bore which extends substantially perpendicular to the bypass channel. A rotary slide valve is provided in the form of a cylindrical pin member which is rotatable within said mounting bore and includes a surface before variable throttling of said bypass channel independence upon the rotational position of said rotary slide valve.
Abstract: There is disclosed a burning apparatus having a general burning chamber provided with an air-guide inlet for feeding air from above into the burning chamber and air-discharge outlet to which a funnel is connected. In said burning chamber, a burn-promoting plate formed with a suitable number of piercing holes is disposed from the ceiling of said burning chamber to halfway thereof toward the floor surface of the burning chamber.Fuel or refuse thrown into said burning chamber is burnt from up to down and the burning operation is completed while giving rise to almost no smoke.

Abstract: The tubular knit product with a pocket and a method for forming the pocket using reciprocating motion in tubular knit hosiery manufacturing. The method uses a circular knitting machine fed by a plurality of yarn feeds which all participate in the formation of the pocket by a reciprocating motion. During the reciprocating motion, part rows of stitches from yarns of the various feeds are formed in a sequence on a course. For the next preceding opposite course, the part rows of stitches from the yarns of the various feeds are formed in a sequence which is opposite. For each subsequent course, the sequence is opposite to the preceding course, and the course direction is opposite (reversed). On each successive reversed course, the yarns of the various feeds form rows which progressively decrease in a first part of the construction of the pocket and progressively increase in a second part of the construction of the pocket.
