Abstract: A testing device (1) with a test button (4) and a rod-shaped plunger (5) for testing a locking device that can be actuated on a door (2) pivotable around a hinge on a container (3) is to be improved in terms of simple design and mounting. To simplify design and mounting, a fastening structure (8, 7) for the movable, rotatable mounting of the testing device (1) is arranged on the door (2). The end (13) of the plunger pointing toward the container (3) is provided with a holding structure (14) which is introduced into a mounting support (16) arranged permanently on the container (3) such that the holding structure (14) is out of engagement with the mounting support (16) in normal operation, and in testing operation. The holding structure engages the mounting support (16) in such a way as to limit the pivoting stroke of the door (2).

  • Patent number: 5214490
Abstract: With four CCD (charge coupled device) based cameras and flashing devices, each of which is installed with an angle against the optical axis of a camera, four corners of sheets being transferred line are photographed. Each of four corner detecting sections detects absolute coordinates of a corner based on differences in brightness of standstill picture of sheet corner taken by each camera. Then, based on the detected absolute coordinates of sheet corners, sheet dimensions computing section calculates lengths, widths and diagonal dimensions of sheets.

  • Patent number: 5211320
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a device for bending over a fabric, especially pockets to be sewn onto a fabric layer, with plates that are arranged in essentially parallel planes and cooperate with one another, a fabric support plate and bending plates, and with a pressing member that can be placed over the fabric, as well as with guide surfaces for the bending area of the fabric. It accomplishes the task of designing the device such that reliable and accurate bending of the fabric is made possible in a relatively simple manner, with only minor effort for adjustment. To achieve this, it has a pressing member (4), whose outer contour extends beyond the outer contour of the fabric support plate (1) in the area of the bending edges of the fabric support plate (1), and which has, at least in its edge zone, an elastically deformable holding member (15) for the fabric (2), which forms a guide surface for the fabric (2) in its bending area after the pressing member (4) has been placed over the fabric (2).

  • Patent number: 5207766
Abstract: Vibrations of a body are measured by attaching a vibrating element to the body, directing a beam of electromagnetic energy onto the vibrating element and collecting reflected electromagnetic energy from the vibrating element. The magnitude of the reflected electromagnetic energy is processed to determine vibration and/or temperature of the body. The magnitude of the reflected light is preferably a function of second degree of the position of said vibrating element. Processing said magnitude of reflected electromagnetic energy is preferably done by a Fourier series up to a second harmonic.
