  • Patent number: 5079468
Abstract: A miniature motor with a revolution-detecting generator, the motor having a stator formed by a permanent magnet on the motor housing and a rotor consisting of a winding on a core. Electric current is fed to the rotor winding via current feeding brushes and a commutator. A revolution-detecting generator comprising a frequency-detecting coil for receiving changes of magnet flux made by teeth on stator and rotor components generates an induced voltage proportional to the revolution of the rotor, in which a noise-suppressing coil wound in a lapped state with the frequency-detecting coil is provided. The noise-suppressing coil and the frequency-detecting coil are connected with each other in a reverse phase, and the noise-suppressing coil is connected in parallel with the frequency-detecting coil via a high-pass filter connected in series.

  • Patent number: 5078317
Abstract: In space heaters with pressure atomization burners, which have a small combustion chamber volume, good mixing of air with fuel is achieved practically only in the case of relatively high air flow velocities, which leads, however, to difficulties in terms of ignition, especially at high operating voltages and low temperatures. The blower motor is therefore started first when putting the heater into operation, after which it is disconnected from the power source, so that the speed will again decrease, after which the high-voltage ignition and the fuel supply are turned on, so that the ignition can take place at reduced blower speed, and the high-voltage ignition is turned off and the blower motor is restarted after the flame has been recognized in the burner.

  • Patent number: 5078068
Abstract: A processing and sewing machine arrangement for preparing a seam which is uninterrupted on a seam side facing the needle of the sewing machine. The arrangement includes a shuttle thread disturbance detection arrangement and a control arrangement activating a stopping arrangement for stopping the sewing machine after the shuttle thread disturbance has been detected and after a stitch formation cycle which has been begun is completed. A regulating mechanism for setting stitch length is set into a reverse stitching mode by the control arrangement while the fabric being sewn is moved backward by one stitch length. After the shuttle thread has been fed in, thread is knotted by at least one stitch with the needle thread in the same insertion hole in which the old shuttle thread is located such that the old shuttle thread is correctly knotted with the needle thread.

  • Patent number: 5076267
Abstract: A circulation respirator is capable of excess-pressure operation with a compressed gas source and an auxiliary pressure arrangement which brings about an increase in the pressure in the respiratory circulation. The apparatus includes measuring circuit connected to a pressure sensor for controlling the auxiliary pressure arrangement. Excess pressure is maintained in the respiratory circulation independently of the respiratory phase. The sensor is arranged as pressure sensor in the respiratory circulation only if the pressure falls below a preset positive nominal value of the pressure in the respiratory circulation.

  • Patent number: 5076013
Abstract: In a security revolving door assembly for persons, comprising one blocking sector (13) and one passage sector (12) or two passage sectors (12), a motor-driven revolving door (10), which can be blocked by means of a braking device controllable by an electronic control unit, is arranged in the door housing. Peripheral identification devices (46, 47) are connected to the electronic control unit. To ensure reliable entry and exit control, blocking, which cannot be overcome at certain angular positions of the revolving door (10), but which always makes it possible to leave the door housing, is provided. This is achieved by means of a blocking disk (23) which is in a rigid rotating connection with the revolving door (10) and has, in a blocking plane, at least one stop face pair (26/1-26/2, 27/1-27/2, 28/1-28/2) with two stop faces (26/1 through 28/2), each acting in one reaction direction.

  • Patent number: 5074787
Abstract: This apparatus is capable of preventing contamination in the interior of an airturbine hand-piece and its drive for use in dental treatment such as cutting a tooth. The apparatus comprises an airturbine drive air circuit, a discharge air circuit, and a chip air circuit for vaporizing cooled water, which serve as passageways for air at a relatively high pressure when the hand-piece is in operation and which are kept interiorly at a low air pressure when the hand-piece is out of operation. These passageways and change-over valves therefore are incorporated in a single body. When the hand-piece is inoperative upon completion of the treatment, it is possible to prevent various germs from penetrating from outside into the interior of the hand-piece. The apparatus can be reduced in a compact size and can be formed of plastics.

  • Patent number: 5074068
Abstract: An arrangement is described for the selective disengagement of the hammers in tripping mechanisms of shotguns with two barrels coupled side by side or superimposed. The arrangement comprises a connector mounted on the trigger and capable of pivoting lengthwise as well as transversely with respect to the tripping mechanism. The connector is provided with tripping teeth which interact with the tripping levers of the hammers. There is also a rocking arm attached to the connector and mounted on a selective push lever which is slidably guided in a transverse direction on the lower surface of the under guard member of the shotgun, so as to define two positions of the rocking arm and of the connector. Two modes are then possible in order to strike the firing pins by first utilizing a first hammer and then the other, or vice versa.

  • Patent number: 5073947
Abstract: The invention concerns a hearing device for a protective helmet with a receiving deice for auditory signals, that at the very least are deliverable from the earphones arranged on the inner surface of the protective helmet. The invention has as its basic function to reduce the volume of the helmet contruction and the weight of the hearing device in relation to the usual construction, and to make the positioning of the earphones on the ears of the helmet wearer unnecessary. The purpose will be met in that the earphones in the outer auditory canal of the helmet wearer will be developed as importable earplugs. The auditory signals that are supplied by a receiving device consisting of a receiver and a coupled transmitter will be transmitted from the transmitter of the receiving device over a wireless transmission line that is integrated into the earplug-receiver of the earplug.

  • Patent number: 5072985
Abstract: A vehicular trunk lid structure is formed by overlapping the end of the outer panel upon the end of the inner panel, to be followed by hemming process, wherein recesses are defined adjacent to the end of said inner panel, and said recesses are deepened toward and welded to said outer panel. By such arrangement, the weld bead due to the spot-welding is concealed inside the trunk room to be obscured from the outside and thus the need of finishing work to remove the weld bead is eliminated. As a consequence, an aesthetic improvement and a manufacturing cost reduction are accomplished.
