Abstract: A digital electronic musical instrument for synthesizing a musical waveform by computing high harmonics. The musical instrument includes a musical waveform generator, an overflow detection circuit and a data selection circuit. A musical waveform is preferably added at an adder which outputs an added musical waveform. This output added musical waveform is checked to determine if an overflow condition occurs. A data selection circuit receives the added musical waveform and establishes level limited data and non level limited data. The data selection circuit selects the level limited data upon occurrence of an overflow condition and selects non level limited data when no overflow condition exists.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device opening and closing the bolt of semiautomatic pistols with a barrel which is rotating and axially displaceable in the stock and interacting with the bolt in such a way that during the first section of the back motion barrel and bolt are integral and without a relative motion, while in the second section the barrel rotates in respect to the bolt but is still following its linear movement till the barrel stops and the bolt moves back for the actual opening of the arm.
Abstract: Steel casting ladles present at different locations are supplied alternately with one heating system for all of the steel casting ladles. The heating system including current bearing heating cables is arranged on a wheelable platform which in turn is present on a swivel stage. For supplying the ladles the rotary motion of the swivel stage is combined with the to-and-fro motion of the wheelable platform.

Abstract: By temperature gradient detection it is determined for the liquid combustion chamber auxiliary heater for motor vehicles, whether e.g. a flame blow-off has taken place, which has to be interpreted as a malfunction and hwich necessitates the discontinuation of fuel supply. Alternatively, it might merely show the switching from a high setting to a low setting. In the latter case a temperature drop to a lower operation temperature occurs also. However, the temperature drop is not as steep as in the case of a flame blow-off. At certain points in time t.sub.1 the target temperature for a point in time t.sub.2 is calculated by the detected temperature according to a certain algorithm having specific device properties as parameters. At this point in time the calculated target temperature is checked for errors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a car providing a sliding door comprising guide rails mounted along an entry opening formed on the front half section of a car body and a sliding door used as a front door to be slid through a roller assembly to be engaged with each guide rail when it is opened or shut. In this car, the sliding amount of the sliding door is regulated so as to disable the rear end of the sliding door to be projected from the rear end of a car body when it is opened. And, in order to enable the entry opening opening to be fully opened, an auxiliary handle is providced in addition to an outside handle and an inside handle. Further, the invention also relates to improvement of opening or shutting mechanism and structure of the sliding door.

Abstract: A pair of sorting gates are fixed respectively to a pair of moving shafts that are disposed facing with each other so as to be able to move horizontally along the same straight line, and when a sorting gate is moved horizontally from a retracted position to a forwardly moved position interrupting the moving path of a sorting pin accompanying a forward motion of one of the moving shafts to which is fixed the sorting gate, the moving shaft at the forwardly moved position functions as a stopper member for the other moving shaft that is at the retracted position, and obstructs the forward motion of the moving shaft that is at the retracted position.
Abstract: A device to detect erosion of a target surface of sputtering sources in cathode sputtering layouts which has a target with at least one sensor at a predetermined position which is unchanged during the cathode sputtering process, directly detects the eroding of the target at a predetermined location. As a sensor measured quantity, photometric, electrical temperature, or pressure in the process chamber is used.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a structure of a lower rail for guiding a slide door and a mounting structure to a side sill. A part of the side sill is projecting externally and covers the upper part of the lower rail. The top end portion of the lower rail is bent inside the side sill and is fastened to the rail housing box and the floor side panel. The roller supporting member for supporting the roller and the arm being fastened to the door are connected by means of a pin. A groove is formed on the bottom wall of the rail housing box corresponding to the moving range of the pin, and the height of the rail housing box is reduced by letting the above-mentioned pin face inside the groove. And, both the stopper at the rear end portion of the rail and the leaf spring are formed independently each other, then the stopper is inserted into an opening of a rail and the leaf spring is assembled to the rail from above the rail so that the both may be assembled with one screw from above the rail.
Abstract: A Venturi Cooler for flue gas desulphurization devices sprays water through water spray nozzles on pipes positioned perpendicularly to the longitudinal flow direction of the cooler. It is important for the effectiveness of the diffused water that the speed of the flue gas does not fall below a certain limit. A simple adjustment of the cross section of the Venturi cooler to the respective flue gas amount can be achieved by arranging movable baffles on the pipes. The baffles are positionable to reduce the cross section of the Venturi cooler and leave the openings of the water spray nozzles free. They advantageously comprise rotatable sleeves surrounding the pipes and have rotatable flaps for fast adjustment of the cross section.
Abstract: A paste dispenser includes a dispensing pump for dispensing metered amounts of pasty substances, such as toothpaste or the like, from bottle-like or can-like paste containers which have a bellows made of an elastic material. The bellows are arranged between two housing parts which are made of a dimensionally stable material, guided telescopically resiliently one with another, so as to establish communication between the housing parts. One of the housing parts is provided with a tubular discharge orifice which shapes a strand of paste, and communicates with an annular duct formed by two inner and outer sections which are formed on one of the housing parts and are concentric to one another and coaxial to a bellows axis intercommunicating the housing parts. The inner tube section is surrounded by a radially elastic annular wall member or portion of the bellows which forms a valve seat. The annular wall section joins a wall of the bellows in a sealing fashion between the outer and inner sections.

Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic safety device for fire arms, in particular for automatic guns to be operated starting from their open-bolt position. A movable slider (12) and a rocking catch lever (19), both assembled to a support on the bolt (11), cooperate in order to allow the lever to engage in a toothed section (15) on the breech (10) and thus prevent the bolt from moving forwards in case of a faulty move, of a release or missed catch during its manual cocking and to maintain the device out of action while the arm is operated wither automatically or manually. Owing to this structure the possibility of uncontrolled or accidental shots is actually eliminated.
Abstract: A pressure spring tensioner comprises a cylindrical guiding tube having an axially elongated tube slot with a threaded spindle extended axially within the tube and rotatably mounted therein. The first sleeve is affixed to the tube adjacent an end thereof and it carries a first gripping clamp which is engageable over one end of the spring. A second sleeve assembly is slidable on the tube and it carries a second gripping clamp which engages with the opposite end of the spring. The second sleeve assembly includes a second sleeve slidable on the guiding tube and with a sliding snug fit and having a radial recess. A pad is arranged in the second sleeve in threaded engagement with the spindle and it has a radial finger extending through the tube slot which is of a length no longer than twice the thickness of the guiding tube and engages in the radial recess of the second sleeve.
Abstract: A device for the transport of a gas sample into the measuring chamber of a detector for the determination of the portion of a component in a gas, and in particular of alcohol in respiratory air, includes a piston-cylinder unit serves as the transport element. The sample is used as completely as possible for the signal analysis of the sensor at the beginning of the sampling process. The measuring-sensitive surface of the sensor comprises a part of the wall of the cylinder chamber of the transport unit which serves as the measuring chamber. The path on which the sample is guided between the inlet and the cylinder chamber is defined by a deviation baffle provided along the measuring-sensitive surface of the sensor.
