Abstract: The present invention provides a method for updating betweenness centrality of a graph, which obtains the betweenness centrality of an unweighted graph, which is updated when edges are updated, the method comprising the steps of: obtaining a minimum union cycle (an MUC, a subset of edges of the graph in which every vertex of the graph is incident to an even number of edges) of the updated graph; extracting an MUC (i.e., an MUCU) containing a vertex, which is incident to the updated edge, and calculating the betweenness centrality (i.e., local betweenness centrality) due to the shortest paths (internal paths) in the MUCU; obtaining the betweenness centrality (an increase of an external path) due to the shortest paths of the graph, which are not included in the MUCU; and calculating the betweenness centrality of the graph by adding the increase of the external path to the local betweenness centrality.

Abstract: A terminal device 2 transmits a wireless frame having a frame length or amplitude that represents the ID of a wireless base station 1 to be woken up to the wireless base station 1. The wireless base station 1 detects the wakeup ID from the frame length or amplitude of the wireless frame from the terminal device 2, and, if the detected wakeup ID is identical with its own ID, transitions from a sleep mode to an operating mode. In this case, the wireless frame is the same wireless frame as that transmitted and received by the wireless communication module of the terminal device 2 to and from the wireless base station 1.

Abstract: Boot configuration information is stored to a volatile memory of a processing system during a low-power state. When resuming from the low-power state, a processor device accesses configuration information for a memory controller from a non-volatile memory and restores the memory controller using the configuration information so as to permit access to the volatile memory. The processor device then configures the initial contexts one or more processor cores using the core state information maintained by the volatile memory during the low-power state and accessed via the configured memory controller, and the one or more processor cores completes the boot process by executing resume boot code maintained by the volatile memory during the low-power state and accessed via the configured memory controller, rather than accessing boot code from a non-volatile memory.

For example a single system of survey probes and one or more survey controllers can be used to offer both seismic and electrical measurements. A survey controller can be configured to automatically poll survey probes to obtain identifiers of the probes aid determine a relative order the probes. Survey probes can be configured to; (a) collect signals associated with a surface; (b) digitize the signals to form digital data; and (c) store the digital data for later transmission to the survey controller. Relative positions of survey probes can be automatically determined using a transmitting beacon or other techniques.
