  • Patent number: 8365882
Abstract: A spring for a composite brake disk. The spring has a planar central region with a hole and two spring regions which are formed symmetrically to one another and which in each case on sides lying opposite one another adjoin the planar central region. The spring regions in each case have an arc and a spring arm. Preferably, the spring arms have in each case an end region with a rounded bearing surface. By such a spring being used, a simple construction of a composite brake disk is made possible, the occurrence of hotspots and the effect of thermal rubbing being as far as possible avoided. At the same time, a functionally appropriate fit of the spring is ensured, the load on the pot due to the bearing surface of the spring being kept extremely low.

  • Patent number: 8364346
Abstract: A method and device for roll stabilization of a motor vehicle are provided. On the basis of a measured transverse acceleration or a calculated transverse acceleration of the motor vehicle, actuating signals are generated for actuators which are associated with a front axle and a rear axle of the motor vehicle and which provide support torques on the front axle and/or on the rear axle for roll stabilization. To ensure a satisfactory self-steering effect of the motor vehicle, a torque distribution between the support torque provided on the front axle and the support torque provided on the rear axle is modified on the basis of a first signal which allows conclusions to be drawn concerning the actuation of a gas pedal, and/or on the basis of a second signal which allows conclusions to be drawn concerning the actuation of a brake pedal.

  • Patent number: 8360183
Abstract: A vehicle has an internal combustion engine, an electric drive device and a transmission with two component transmissions that can be selected simultaneously. Torque can be transmitted from the electric drive device and/or the internal combustion engine to at least one axle of the vehicle, and a torque can be transmitted from the axle to the electric drive device and/or the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is adjusted from a deactivated state to an energized state. Torque is transmitted to the internal combustion engine by the axle and/or the electric drive device via one of two shifting elements to increase rotational speed of the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is adjusted to a target rotational speed via one of the shifting elements. The connection between the internal combustion engine and the axle is produced via one of the shifting elements upon reaching the target rotational speed.

  • Patent number: 8356832
Abstract: In a method for folding in or folding out an electrically operated trailer coupling for vehicles which can be moved electrically between a folded-out use position and a folded-in rest position with excess force limitation, an actuating device is provided for activating the trailer coupling. A brief actuation of the actuating device results in an automatic adjusting movement of the trailer coupling in the folding-in or folding-out direction. In the method, in the event of a continuous actuation of the actuating device, the excess force limitation threshold is increased during the automatic adjusting process of the trailer coupling, and after the actuating device is released, the automatic adjusting process is continued with the original excess force limitation threshold until the trailer coupling has reached its use or rest position.

  • Patent number: 8356837
Abstract: A roll bar configuration for a motor vehicle has a cross-member and two roll bars which are mounted on the cross-member in respective pivot axes. The roll bars are each formed as a single part and so as to be stiff per se and can be shifted from a retracted inoperative position into an erected protective position about the pivot axes. The pivot axes are disposed—as seen in the direction of the width of the motor vehicle—at a distance from each other on the cross-member. The roll bar configuration, which takes up a small installation space in the direction of the vehicle height is distinguished in that the roll bars are arranged in the inoperative position—as seen in the vertical direction of the vehicle—level with the pivot axes or on the cross-member there above.
