  • Patent number: 4671005
Abstract: A trigger assembly for firearms which is externally adjustable to change trigger pull forces for both hunting and competition shooting, and which includes safety features for preventing inadvertant discharge. The trigger assembly is particularly adaptable for use with Mauser-type, bolt-action firearms and includes an over-center linkage mechanism which is geometrically adjustable to vary the pull force of the trigger piece. The over-center linkage mechanism includes a rotatable lever operably connected to the trigger piece, and a collapsible block pivotally coupled to the lever. The block and lever are alignable in supporting relation to the striker locking arm, which in turn holds the striker cocked. The relative alignment of the block and lever determines the amount of trigger pull forces required with the linkage mechanism in supporting engagement with the striker lock arm.

  • Patent number: 4671657
Abstract: Method and device for realtime measurement of the state of polarization at a quasi-monochromatic light beam. Two quasi-monochromatic radiations with slightly different optical frequencies are generated. A radiation is converted into a 45.degree. linearly polarized radiation, while the other presents the polarization state imposed by a body under test. In each radiation, horizontal and vertical polarization components are separated, and then recombined into two different beams comprising radiations at both frequencies, respectively polarized in the same plane. Beatings between the two components of each beam are originated and from the two electrical signals in the radiofrequency range thus obtained the information is extracted on the relative phase and the amplitude of the two components of the radiation with polarization imposed by the body under test.

  • Patent number: 4671364
Abstract: A power-screwdriver device with variable torque adjustment consists essentially of a drive mechanism, transmission, and cutoff mechanism. In order to provide a power screwdriver that is strong and inexpensive and in which the torque can be controlled with no need for a torque clutch, there is a bearing site on a transmission shaft. The bearing allows the shaft to move radially. There is a sensor that emits a motor-cutoff signal when the shaft does move radially. The radial deviation is employed as a measure of torque. The measure is adjusted with an adjusting device.

  • Patent number: 4669260
Abstract: A vertically-arranged rubbing finisher has a plurality of rubbing units each traversed vertically by a pair of slubbings which are directed to respective winding devices for winding on respective spools to form single-slubbing bobbins. The two winding devices receiving a respective pair of slubbings are disposed on opposite sides of a vertical, longitudinal plane of symmetry through the rubbing unit, the winding devices on each respective side forming a group including drive rollers for the respective spools arranged for rotation about a common horizontal axis. Each spool is pivotable away from its drive roller as its bobbin is formed on arms which, when the bobbin is completed, pivot further, downwardly, to deposit the bobbin on a conveyor belt for transfer from the machine before returning upwardly to collect a new, empty spool for filling from a supply device.
