Abstract: A solid-state ionic conductor. The solid-state ionic conductor contains a correlated perovskite into which ions and electrons are inserted giving rise to ionic conductivity. The inserted ions occupy interstitial lattice sites of the correlated perovskite, reduce the electronic conductivity of the correlated perovskite. A method of producing a solid-state ionic conductor. The method includes forming a thin film containing a transition metal X, a rare earth element R and oxygen (O) by co-depositing the transition metal and the rare earth element on a substrate in an oxygen-containing atmosphere. The thin film is then annealed at an annealing temperature for a period of time in an oxygen containing atmosphere, resulting in formation of a crystalline film of RXO3. Ions and electrons from an ion source are then inserted into the crystalline film of RXO3, resulting in a solid-state ionic conductor.

Abstract: In the touch panel device and the operating method for the same according to the present invention, an entire scan is divided into a first scan and a second scan for determining a touch position. In the first scan, a plurality of transmission electrodes are configured into groups, and a signal is applied sequentially or simultaneously such that a first analysis position is determined. In the second scan, since a signal is sequentially or simultaneously applied only to the first analysis position, a plurality of sampling durations can sufficiently be provided such that a second analysis position, which is the exact touch position, can be determined.

Abstract: A receiver-directed congestion control system which provides receiver-directed apportioning by adding a bandwidth share indicator value to the acknowledgement messages sent by the receiver to the senders. In certain embodiments, bandwidth share indicator value comprises the number of senders seen by the receiver. In other embodiments, the bandwidth share indicator value may comprise a percentage bandwidth share allocated to the sender computer to allow for varying priorities between senders. In the acknowledgement message, each sender may also include the incast degree, which is programmed in the application, to the receiver. This strategy enables the receiver to send back the sender count to all the senders as soon the first sender's packets arrive, even before the rest of the senders' packets arrive. Thus, the sender count and the incast degree look-ahead enable the receiver-directed system to achieve accurate and faster convergence of sending rates, without any repeated adjustments.
Abstract: A method of performing operations on a plurality of inputs and a same kernel using a delay time by using a same processor, and a neural network device thereof are provided, the neural network device includes input data including a first input and a second input, and a processor configured to obtain a first result by performing operations between the first input and a plurality of kernels, to obtain a second result by performing operations between the second input, which is received at a time delayed by a first interval from a time when the first input is received, and the plurality of kernels, and to obtain output data using the first result and the second result. The neural network device may include neuromorphic hardware and may perform convolutional neural network (CNN) mapping.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention allow for improving measurement accuracy of monitoring devices, for example, to accurately determine speed from motion data measured by an accelerometer. Abstract: A reconfigurable antenna array capable of utilizing a common antenna aperture which can cover a wide frequency range in a continuous way. With the basic antenna element based on a slot-ring and using a self similar structure approach and RE' switches, the antenna array operates without grating lobes. The antenna array exhibits polarization diversity and single-side radiation capability. When varactors are implemented into the array, the antenna array can cover the frequency range by continuously tuning the center frequency with a relatively narrow instantaneous bandwidth.

Abstract: A receiver detects a plurality of information symbols. A first signal and a second signal are received from a first transmitted signal and a second transmitted signal, respectively, transmitted by a first plurality of antennas and received by a second plurality of antennas connected to the receiver. The second signal is received after the first signal. The receiver spatially filters the first signal using a spatial filter matrix. The receiver computes a conjugate of the first filtered signal to define a conjugate first signal, and spatially filters a second signal using the spatial filter matrix. The receiver computes a Hadamard product of the first filtered signal and the conjugate first signal to define a differential measurement signal. The receiver detects the plurality of information symbols from the differential measurement signal.
