  • Patent number: 11986968
Abstract: A real-time control system for industrial robots based on virtual reality (VR), including: a VR headset, a VR controller, a model construction module, a motion control module, a data communication system and a robot controller. Through the VR controller, a user can touch and drag an end of the gripper to move the robot in the Cyber environment. When the gripper moves into a bounding box of a control point, the data communication system is triggered, and a communication code corresponding to the control point is sent to the robot controller via a Unity engine script. After receiving the code, the robot controller sends the corresponding motion command such that the robot such that the robot moves in real time according to the control data.

  • Patent number: 11987862
Abstract: A method for liquefying niobium and tantalum and a method for producing a niobium solution and a tantalum solution, which can liquefy niobium and tantalum or produce a niobium solution and a tantalum solution safely and efficiently from a smelting raw material containing niobium and tantalum. Ammonium hydrogen sulfate is mixed as a reaction agent into a powdered substance containing at least one element of niobium or tantalum, and the mixture is melted under predetermined conditions to form a molten substance. A suspension formed by dissolving the molten substance having been solidified in an aqueous solution is subjected to solid-liquid separation to recover a precipitate. The precipitate is composed of niobium and/or tantalum with few impurities, and the precipitate is dissolved in one type of acid solution selected from hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, or nitric acid, whereby 90% or more of niobium and/or tantalum can be leached out.

  • Patent number: 11990607
Abstract: A hybrid cathode for a Li—S battery may include an intercalation-type material and a conversion-type material. The conversion-type material, such as sulfur, may increase the gravimetric energy density, Eg, of the battery. The intercalation-type material may increase the electrical and ionic conductivity of the cathode and contribute to the capacity of the battery, enabling replacement of partial high-surface-area conductive carbon and increasing the volumetric energy density, Ev. In combination, the conversion-type material and the intercalation-type material may be used to increase Eg and Ev simultaneously while providing sufficient rate capability. In one example, a hybrid cathode includes an electrode and a cathode material. The cathode material includes a first concentration of an intercalation compound, a second concentration of sulfur, and a third concentration of carbon. Furthermore, the intercalation compound and sulfur contribute to the capacity of the Li—S battery within a voltage window of 1.

  • Publication number: 20240154698
Abstract: Disclosed is a drone-assisted and non-drone assisted NLoS-FSOC network and method for high-speed communications in disaster-struck areas or where there is little or no communications. NLoS-FSOC uses a diffuse reflector that is in LoS of a transmitter and receiver for establishing a broadcast optical channel. NLoS-FSOC establishes uplink and downlink transmissions. The present disclosure services at least 130% more stations and provides at least 100% more aggregated downlink data rates than drone-assisted than RF-based schemes. It also consumes 116 times less energy compared to RF-based schemes by using high-bandwidth optical signals and coherent light of laser light in NLoS-FSOC, optical broadcast channel use, and drone or non-drone front-haul diffuse reflection placement. The present disclosure is used autonomously or in combination with other systems such as RF schemes for a more robust solution to RF schemes alone.
