An overlap response is determined using the created intersection data.

The coordinate post-processing module is configured to calculate the support coordinates of the each support device corresponding to the group of support points. The control module is configured to receive the support coordinates of the each support device, and adjust the height and angle of the each support device to support the supported workpiece, so that the amount of deformation of the supported workpiece is the minimum.

    Abstract: It discloses a circuit for reducing a leakage current of a static random access memory (SRAM) memory array and a control method for the same. The circuit includes a memory array power supply voltage control module, a memory array ground terminal voltage control module and a memory array. The present invention controls the voltages on the power supply terminal and the ground terminal of the memory array through the memory array power supply voltage control module and the memory array ground terminal control module, and may reduce the actual data retention voltages of the bitcells, thereby reducing the leakage power of the SRAM in a data retention state. Meanwhile, the present invention implements the function of adjusting the data retention voltage values of the bitcells by controlling different adjustment signals to cope with different design requirements.

    Abstract: An active filter reduces Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) created by current flowing through a power line. The active filter connects to the power line at a single node through a connection capacitor. A sense current flows through the connection capacitor when the power line current changes. This sense current is applied to a non-inverting input of an op amp to drive a power amplifier circuit through a filter capacitor. The power amplifier circuit increases the current drive of the op amp to charge a transfer capacitor that converts the power amplifier output current to a transfer voltage. The transfer capacitor is connected to the connection capacitor so that the transfer voltage is injected back into the power line through the connection capacitor as an injected voltage that compensates for the sensed current. Op amp gain is adjustable by variable resistors that connect to the inverting input of the op amp.

    Abstract: A system and a process for co-producing dimethyl carbonate and ethylene glycol. The system comprises an interconnected ethylene carbonate preparation unit and an ethylene carbonate alcoholysis unit. The ethylene carbonate preparation unit comprises a fixed bed reactor and a light-component stripping column connected to each other. The fixed bed reactor is filled with a supported ionic liquid catalyst. The process comprises the steps of: reacting carbon dioxide and ethylene oxide as raw materials in the fixed bed reactor to produce ethylene carbonate, purifying the ethylene carbonate and then mixing it with an alcoholysis reaction catalyst, and reacting the mixture with methanol in a reactive distillation tower, producing dimethyl carbonate and ethylene glycol. The process increases the conversion rate of ethylene oxide and avoids the need for a process of separating conventional homogeneous catalysts from ethylene carbonate, thereby reducing process energy consumption and simplifying process procedures.

    Abstract: A pervaporation apparatus and method for liquid mixture separation are disclosed. The pervaporation disclosed utilizes an interfacial-heating membrane utilizing induction heating to provide temperature differences across the membrane for driving liquid mixture separation. The pervaporation system may include an electromagnetic induction heating device that is placed close to or encapsulated in a membrane module wherein one or more membranes with surfaces containing ferromagnetic or other induction-responsive materials. The membrane surface generates localized heat owing to the presence of a ferromagnetic composition that converts electric energy from an induction source to thermal energy. The ferromagnetic composition could include, without limitation, metals, metal alloys, composite materials, nanocomposite materials, nanoparticles, meshes, and combinations thereof.

    Abstract: The invention describes the construction of more or less thin house walls, of which the load-bearing panels are stabilized in such a way that they have an insulating middle layer, the middle layer containing carbon, which is brought in as insulation material by means of suitable binders such as cement, geopolymers, resins or foams or glass. In particular, biochar mortars and biochar foams are used, which with the help of fiber reinforcement of the outer stone slices become self-supporting wall and facade elements, which are able to store more carbon than what is produced in the form of CO2, escaping into the atmosphere. Fiber-stabilized stone disks with an insulating middle layer based on pyrogenic or otherwise manufactured or extracted carbon are constructed symmetrically and dimensioned in such a way that they can absorb loads and buckling forces with a comparatively very low weight.

    Abstract: An energy-efficient disinfection or sterilisation of contaminated liquid, such as water contaminated with viruses or microbes includes an asymmetric configuration of a cavitation nozzle made from dielectric material that enables the formation of a single, stable cavitation bubble of a large volume. A low-pressure gaseous plasma is continuously formed inside the cavitation bubble by electrodes to prevent contact of the metallic electrode with liquid water and Ohmic heating of the contaminated water. The electrodes are connected to a high voltage power supply. The power supply enables formation of a continuous stable gaseous discharge inside the cavitation bubble and radicals and radiation useful for destruction of viruses to the levels below the current US EPA standard in few minutes, while the temperature of liquid water remains practically unchanged. Use is not only for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies but the food industry and agriculture as well.

    Abstract: There are provided a method, apparatus, system, and computer-readable recording medium for image compression. An encoding apparatus performs domain transformation and quantization on feature map information and image information. The encoding apparatus rearranges the result of domain transformation and quantization so as to have a form advantageous to the encoding procedure and encodes the result of rearrangement, thereby generating a bitstream. A decoding apparatus receives the bitstream, decodes the received bitstream, and performs inverse transformation, dequantization, and inverse rearrangement using information transmitted through the bitstream. The result of inverse transformation, dequantization, and inverse rearrangement is used for the machine-learning task of a neural network.
