Abstract: Systems and methods for reconstructing images for computed tomography are provided. Image reconstruction can be based on a realistic polychromatic physical model, and can include use of both an analytical algorithm and a single-variable optimization method. The optimization method can be used to solve the non-linear polychromatic X-ray integral model in the projection domain, resulting in an accurate decomposition for sinograms of two physical basis components.
Abstract: The invention discloses an electrochemical device for treating cancer, characterized by using an acupuncture needle as a working electrode to produce hydrogen in a tumor tissue, thereby destroying the tumor tissue through the produced hydrogen gas. The device of the invention has low cost and simple operation, can realize minimally invasive treatment, and is green and environmentally friendly.

Abstract: A reconstruction method of a three-dimensional (3D) human body model includes: acquiring, by a fully convolutional network (FCN) module, a global UVI map and a local UVI map of a body part according to a human body image (S1); estimating, by a first neural network, a camera parameter and a shape parameter of the human body model based on the global UVI map (S2); extracting, by a second neural network, rotation features of joints of a human body based on the local UVI map (S3); refining, by using a position-aided feature refinement strategy, the rotation features of the joints of the human body to acquire refined rotation features (S4); and estimating, by a third neural network, a pose parameter of the human body model based on the refined rotation features (S5). The reconstruction method achieves accurate and efficient reconstruction of the human body model, and improves robustness of pose estimation.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a method of sound source enumeration and direction of arrival (DoA) estimation. The method, the method includes estimating, by an enumeration module, a number of sound sources associated with an acoustic signal. The estimating includes selecting a specific parametric model from a generalized model. The generalized model is related to a microphone array architecture used to capture the acoustic signal. The method further includes estimating, by a DoA module, a direction of arrival of each sound source of the number of sound sources based, at least in part, on the selected model. The estimating the number of sound sources and estimating the DoA of each sound source are performed using a Bayesian framework.

Abstract: Disclosed are an artificial sensory nervous circuit and a manufacturing method thereof. The artificial sensory nervous circuit includes a sensor (S), a first memristor (RS), and a neuron circuit, where the first memristor (RS) has a unidirectional resistance characteristic. Abstract: A host map system for updating a region of a host map based on sensor data received from a plurality of connected vehicles travelling in the region comprises monitoring a host map region for discrepancies, defining a geo-fence around an area of a discrepancy and setting a schedule for activing the geo-fence. When a connected vehicle enters the geo-fence, the host mapping system transmits the geo-fence to the connected vehicle and requests that it share its sensor data while travelling in the geo-fenced area. The host mapping system receives the sensor data and processes the data to update details of the host map. The host mapping system may transmit the updated map to connected vehicles travelling in the map region.
