Abstract: The present invention relates to an image sensor comprising a microlens array, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The method of the present invention includes gradually increasing the aluminum composition ratio of a compound semiconductor as the latter gradually gets farther from a substrate, to enable a microlens-forming layer to grow, and making the oxidation rate of the region adjacent to the substrate slower and the oxidation rate of the region farther from the substrate faster, making the interface between the oxidized region and the unoxidized region into a lens shape after the completion of oxidation. The thus-made lens is integrated into an image sensor. The present invention reduces costs for manufacturing image sensors in which a microlens is integrated, increases the signal-to-noise ratio and resolution of the image sensor, and achieves improved sensitivity.

  • Publication number: 20140017827
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for manufacturing a semiconductor light-emitting device using a neutral particle beam. According to the present invention, since the kinetic energy of the neutral particle beam is provided as a portion of the reaction energy for causing a nitride semiconductor single crystal thin film to be formed on a substrate, and the reaction energy is not provided as heat energy by heating a substrate as in the prior art, the substrate may be treated at a relatively low temperature. Furthermore, elements such as Si, Mg, and the like, which are solid elements required for doping are sprayed onto the substrate from a source which generates solid elements for doping together with the neutral particle beam to achieve high doping efficiency at a lower temperature.

Abstract: A Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer (FT-ICR MS) includes: an ionization source generating ions; a deceleration lens, on which the ions generated by the ionization source and spatially dispersed are incident, selectively decelerating the incident ions so as to decrease the distance between the ions; and an ion cyclotron resonance cell on which the ions passing through the deceleration lens are incident. By preventing dispersing of ions due to mass difference and converging the ions using the deceleration lens, the mass range that can be measured at one time can be extended. Also, measurement sensitivity can be improved since the ions are effectively introduced to the ICR cell.
