  • Patent number: 11392417
Abstract: An ultraconverged architecture has multiple availability zones within a single server. The functionality in each of the availability zones is independently controlled, such that resetting and/or disconnecting any component in any availability zone from power and replacing said component does not affect availability of any other component in any other availability zone. A manager of availability zones controls reset functionality in each of a plurality of availability zones. The manager of availability zones generates a requested reset type in the requested availability zone. The manager of availability zones generates reset signals or requests for some or all components located in multiple availability zones. The reset signal or request is generated upon external request to the manager of availability zones that specifies the reset type, the availability zone, and optionally the list of components to be reset. The manager of availability zones discovers and enumerates the components in each availability zone.

  • Patent number: 11392948
Abstract: A system and method for validating user address information is disclosed herein. A computing system periodically polls a client device associated with a user to identify a current location of the user. The computing system records the current location of the user after polling and a time associated with the polling. The computing system receives one or more transactions from one or more third party vendors. The computing system identifies, based on the one or more transactions, a location and a time associated with each transaction in the one or more transactions. The computing system defines a geographic area. The computing system determines that a current primary address on file for the user is outside of the geographic area. The computing system prompts, based on the determining, the user to update the current primary address.

Abstract: A system is provided for controlling access to data stored in a cloud-based storage service. A first request is received to access data stored at the cloud-based storage service, the data associated with a user account. The first request is authenticated based on a username and password associated with the user account. A second request is received for a file that is stored in an area associated with a heightened authentication protocol. The heightened authentication protocol is performed to authenticate the second request. In response to authenticating the second request, permission is granted to a temporary strong authentication state. The permission is to access the file that is stored in the area associated with the heightened authentication protocol.

  • Patent number: 11395292
Abstract: A method and apparatus provide for low latency transmissions. A higher layer configuration message can be received that indicates a set of resource blocks for receiving data packets in at least one symbol of a subframe. An attempt can be made to decode a data packet in a first set of resource elements within the set of resource blocks. The first set of resource elements can be in the at least one symbol of the subframe. An attempt can be made to decode the data packet in at least a second set of resource elements within the set of resource blocks. The second set of resource elements can be in the at least one symbol of the subframe. The second set of resource elements can include at least one resource element that is not in the first set of resource elements. The data packet in one of the first set of resource elements and the second set of resource elements can be successfully decoded.
