    Abstract: An entire radio transceiver can be completely integrated into one IC chip. In order to integrate the IF filters on the chip, a heterodyne architecture with a low IF is used. A single, directly modulated VCO is used for both up-conversion during transmission, and down-conversion during reception. Bond-wires are used as resonators in the oscillator tank for the VCO. A TDD scheme is used in the air interface to eliminate cross-talk or leakage. A Gaussian-shaped binary FSK modulation scheme is used to provide a number of other implementation advantages.

    Abstract: A biosensor (10) has a hydrogel (30) in a rigid and referably biocompatible enclosure (20). The hydrogel (30) includes an immobilized glucose-binding molecule such as concanavalin A (Con A) and an immobilized hexose saccharide such as a-D-mannopyranoside. The immobilized hexose saccharide competitively binds with free glucose to the glucose-binding molecules, thus changing the number of crosslinks in the hydrogel (30), which changes hydrogel swelling tendency and the pressure of the hydrogel in its confined space in proportion to the concentration of free glucose. By measuring the change in hydrogel pressure with a pressure transducer (40), the biosensor (10) is able to accurately measure the concentration of the tree glucose molecule without the problem of oxygen limitations and interference encountered by prior art biosensors.

Incoming calls to the voice hunt group are verified against an access list, and then allowed to attempt call set-ups with the next available member in the voice hunt group. Concurrent call set-ups are enabled through the use of an algorithm that significantly reduces queuing delays for subsequently received calls, and provides for concurrent call set-up processes.

The tampon pad has a shape corresponding to the surface of the phone casing. The printing color has a composition, which facilitates the adhering on the tampon pad. The invention also describes a method for printing an electric circuit pattern on a phone casing (4) by using the above mentioned tampon pads and printing color.
