  • Patent number: 4917792
Abstract: An automatic transaction terminal has a plurality of cartridges for storing notes and preset key switches for presetting a pattern of denominations of the notes to be stored in the cartridges so that the respective cartridges may be selectively designated by the preset key switches to store the notes corresponding to the denomination preset by the preset key switches. In a deposit transaction, the deposited note is reviewed by a discriminating unit to determine its denomination and stored into the cartridge corresponding to the denomination reviewed by the discriminating unit which is preset by the key switches. In a withdrawal transaction, the notes are fed out from the cartridge preset by the key switches as having the denominations corresponding to the denomination requested by the customer.

  • Patent number: 4914614
Abstract: A multivalued ALU is composed of a multivalued signal source, a memory array, a selection array, an AND array and an output circuit. The multivalued signal source generates signals each of which represents a logic value of multivalued logic. The memory array is provided with an address line group for each and every function to be implemented, each address line group comprising a number of address lines. Which multivalued logic signals will appear on the address lines of each address line group depends upon a program based on the truth table of the corresponding function. Any one of the plural address line groups is selected by the selection array, to which a signal designating the function to be implemented is applied. One address line in the selected address line group is selected by the AND array, which has an input signal applied thereto, and the logic value signal on the selected line is delivered via the output circuit.

  • Patent number: 4904852
Abstract: A contact member supporting member is pivotably supported to a slide member which abuts on a part of an IC card to be inserted and is moved by the IC card. When the slide member moves, the supporting member also moves. The supporting member is swung in the direction of the IC card by fixed cams. Thus, contact members of the supporting member come into contact with contacts of the IC card. Since the contact member supporting member moves together with the IC card, the contact members do not slide on the surface of the IC card. Therefore, the abrasion of the contact members and the damage of the IC card which are caused by the slide friction between the contact members and the surface of the IC card, and the like can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 4899257
Abstract: An electric device with an operation indicating light has a base and a case transversely divisible in a main frame and a case cover. The main frame is fitted to the base at one open end of the frame. A resin material is injected into the space provided by the base and the main frame. The case cover is fitted to the other open end of the main frame so that an operating indicating lamp can be seen through an indicating hole in the case cover. Thus, the device can be easily assembled, and the resin material does not leak from the gap between the operation indicating lamp and the indicating hole. Cracks are prevented from developing in the solder connecting the lamp to the circuit board. In addition, the lamp can be positioned at a high precision because no packing is required to prevent resin leakage.

  • Patent number: 4898549
Abstract: This electric connector includes a housing formed with a single row of holes for receiving male terminals and ends of sheathed wires connected thereto, and further formed with means for, if and when two of the housings are laid together with their two single rows of holes substantially parallel, locating them with respect to mutual sliding movement. Thereby, if it is desired to provide only a single row type connector, a single one of such housings is used by itself; but, if it is desired to provide a multiple row type connector, then two or more of such housings are laid together with their single rows of holes substantially parallel, and now the locating means keeps them from undergoing mutual sliding. Optionally, the connector can further include means such as a clip for holding together these several housings.
