  • Patent number: 12013793
Abstract: Compressing memory addresses within an execution trace via reference to a translation lookaside buffer (TLB) entry. A microprocessor identifies a TLB entry within a TLB slot, the TLB entry mapping a virtual memory page to a physical memory page. The microprocessor initiates logging of the TLB entry by initiating logging of at least a virtual address of the virtual memory page, and an identifier that uniquely identifies the TLB entry from among a plurality of live TLB entries. Subsequently, the microprocessor identifies a cache entry within a memory cache slot, the cache entry comprising a physical memory address corresponding to a cache line. The microprocessor initiates logging of the cache entry by matching a physical memory page identification portion of the physical memory address with the TLB entry, and then initiates logging of at least the identifier for the TLB entry and an offset portion.

  • Patent number: 12015525
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to staging a universal customer edge gateway device. A universal customer edge gateway device may generate, prior to deployment of the universal customer edge gateway device at a customer location, copies of virtual network function (VNF) operating system (OS) images on the universal customer edge gateway device, the copies including a first copy of a first VNF OS image and a second copy of a second VNF OS image; identify, during a deployment of the universal customer edge gateway device at the customer location, a selection of the first copy from a list of the copies; copy, during the deployment and based on the selection, the first VNF OS image to the universal customer edge gateway device; and instantiate, at the universal customer edge gateway device, the copied first VNF OS image.

  • Patent number: 12015539
Abstract: An example method of mitigating oversubscription of traffic to edge services gateways in a data center includes: receiving, by a host of the data center, traffic metrics corresponding to the ESGs; determining traffic congestion at a first active edge of the ESGs in response to the traffic metrics; dividing, in response to the traffic congestion, a classless inter-domain routing (CIDR) block assigned to the first active edge into a first CIDR block and a second CIDR block; and creating, in a routing table of a router, a first route between an internet protocol (IP) address of the first active edge and the first CIDR block, and a second route between an IP address of a second active edge of the ESGs and the second CIDR block.

  • Patent number: 12014532
Abstract: This disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for detecting distracted driving. In an example method, a light source identification procedure may be executed for detecting a first device present inside a vehicle and outside a field of view of a driver monitoring camera (such as upon a dashboard). The procedure can include evaluating an image data sample obtained from the driver monitoring camera so as to identify various devices that may be emitting light incident upon the face of the driver. The incident light may include a first pulse pattern corresponding to light emitted by the first device and a second pulse pattern corresponding to light emitted by a second device. The first device can be detected in various ways such as by evaluating a phase relationship between the first pulse pattern and the second pulse pattern and/or by evaluating spectral content present in the image data sample.

  • Patent number: 12014357
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to autofilling card data from a contactless card to a form of a computing device. An application may determine that a payment field of a form has received focus. The application may then receive encrypted data from a communications interface of a contactless card associated with an account. The application may then receive, from a server, verification of the encrypted data. The application may then receive, from the server, an encrypted account number associated with the account, and decrypt the encrypted account number to yield the account number. An autofill service of an operating system (OS) executing on the processor circuit, may then autofill the account number to the payment field of the form.

  • Patent number: 12015590
Abstract: Enterprise users' mobile devices typically access the Internet without being protected by the enterprise's network security policy, which exposes the enterprise network to Internet-mediated attack by malicious actors. This is because the conventional approach to protecting the mobile devices and associated enterprise network is to tunnel all of the devices' Internet communications to the enterprise network, which is very inefficient since typically only a very small percentage of Internet communications originating from an enterprise's mobile devices are communicating with Internet hosts that are associated with threats. In the present disclosure, the mobile device efficiently identifies which communications are associated with Internet threats, and tunnels only such identified traffic to the enterprise network, where actions may be taken to protect the enterprise network.

  • Patent number: 12014739
Abstract: Processor(s) of a client device can: receive sensor data that captures environmental attributes of an environment of the client device; process the sensor data using a machine learning model to generate a predicted output that dictates whether one or more currently dormant automated assistant functions are activated; making a decision as to whether to trigger the one or more currently dormant automated assistant functions; subsequent to making the decision, determining that the decision was incorrect; and in response to determining that the determination was incorrect, generating a gradient based on comparing the predicted output to ground truth output. In some implementations, the generated gradient is used, by processor(s) of the client device, to update weights of the on-device speech recognition model. In some implementations, the generated gradient is additionally or alternatively transmitted to a remote system for use in remote updating of global weights of a global speech recognition model.

  • Patent number: 12011696
Abstract: A continuous process for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) to be used in heavy and extra heavy oil wells, where low and/or non-profitable production rates occur is presented. The process is named Hot Crude Gravity Drainage (HCGD), and HCGD may include different components to support the heating of crude produced in the oil well that is later going to be injected at the same volumes as heated crude. The crude may be injected in the sand from which it was produced, in order to continuously supply the required energy to significantly lower the viscosity, which in turn increases mobility in the pores of the producing sand and allows for an increment (e.g., of more than 100%) in production as regards the base or initial production of the oil well, in a 45 consecutive day period. The process unit may be simple, compact, modular and skid mounted.

  • Patent number: 12011875
Abstract: An additive manufacturing system and method for including non-printable secondary materials, such as wire, metal, ceramic, electronics, optical fibers, or other materials, within a printed object. A first layer of the printed object includes a recess sized to fit a non-printable secondary material. The non-printable secondary material that aligns with an upper surface of the first layer is inserted within the recess. A heater roller flattens the upper surface, including the non-printable secondary material, to form a flat, printable surface for a second layer. The second layer is then deposited over the upper surface of the first layer and the non-printable secondary material. The non-printable secondary material can be suspended in a tray that aligns with the printed object and drops below the upper surface of the printed object to facilitate printing of the second layer.
