Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for combined cycle power generation while reducing or mitigating emissions during power generation. Recycled exhaust gas from a power generation combustion reaction can be separated using a swing adsorption process so as to generate a high purity CO2 stream while reducing/minimizing the energy required for the separation and without having to reduce the temperature of the exhaust gas. This can allow for improved energy recovery while also generating high purity streams of carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method of forming a solder on pad on a fine pitch PCB and a method of flip chip bonding a semiconductor device using the same. The method of forming a solder on pad on a fine pitch PCB includes: applying a solder bump maker (SBM) paste with a predetermined thickness to an entire surface of a PCB including a metal pad and a solder mask; heating the SBM paste at a temperature higher than a melting point of solder contained in the SBM paste and then cooling the SBM paste to form a solder on pad; and washing a residual polymer resin and residual solder particles of the SBM paste by using a solvent.

Abstract: The frequency of an atomic clock may be stabilized against C-field variation by applying a rf magnetic field perpendicular to the C-field to cause a coherent population transfer between Zeeman states that compensates for quadratic frequency shift of transitions of the clock. The cancellation, provided by a feed-forward mechanism, is exact. The invention can be implemented in any atomic clock by including an electrode in the clock generating a magnetic field perpendicular to the C-field, and providing an electronic circuit to send rf signals to the electrode.

Therefore, the present invention can effectively detect the GPS clock signal jump in real-time.

Abstract: An electronic test system to evaluate the pixel and array properties of active-matrix displays that use charge or current sensitive circuits attached to the array data lines is described. Leakage-current, charging time, and other metrics can be measured for all pixels in the array without electrical or optical connection to the interior of the array. Charge or current sensitive amplifiers and selected voltage drivers may be used in conjunction with variable timing and voltages to determine individual transistor properties over an entire array in just a few seconds. Signals to be measured may be injected in several ways. Ultimately, an output signal for each pixel is measured. Thus, based on the output signal, the charging time or current, the leakage time or current, and other pixel or transistor parameters may be characterized for the entire array.
Abstract: A system and method classify a test image. At least one processor receives a data graph computed from the test image. Further, a graph lattice is received. The graph lattice includes a plurality of nodes, each including a subgraph, a weight and at least one mapping of the subgraph to data graphs of a plurality of training images. The training images correspond to a plurality of classes. The data graph of the test image is mapped by the subgraphs of the nodes. Mappings between the graph lattice and the data graphs of the training images are compared with mappings between the graph lattice and the data graph of the test image to determine weighted votes of similarity between the data graphs of the training images and the data graph of the test image. The class of the test image is determined from the weighted votes.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a temperature regulated, pressure activated liquid scent dispenser. The pressure in the interior of the container may increase as ambient temperature increases. A release structure of the container may release a portion of the liquid scent once a threshold pressure or threshold amount of pressure build-up is reached in the interior of the container. A method comprises filling the interior volume with a liquid scent so that the interior volume also includes a volume of air, suspending the dispenser over a ground surface, and dispensing the liquid scent from the interior volume through the release structure. Due to an increase of pressure of the volume of air, and upon reaching a threshold air pressure, the release structure releases a portion of the liquid scent from the interior volume. Applications may include dispensing animal attractant or repellent.

Abstract: A method and system for rendering scenes in stereoscopic 3-D comprises identifying, or detecting, that a rate of change, of one or more elements of a scene to be rendered in stereoscopic 3-D, satisfies a criterion. The perceived depth of elements of the scene is then dynamically modified, and the scene is rendered. The method can reduce eye strain of a viewer of the scene, since the perceived difference in depth of objects or elements of the scene is reduced while the object is changing position or visibility dramatically.
