Abstract: A computer aided diagnostic system and automated method classify a brain through modeling and analyzing the shape of a brain cortex, e.g., to detect a brain cortex that is indicative of a developmental disorder such as ADHD, autism or dyslexia. A model used in such analysis describes the shape of brain cortices in terms of spherical harmonics required to delineate a unit sphere corresponding to the brain cortex to a model of the brain cortex.

Abstract: An apparatus, and an associated method, provides for operation of a handset receiver at a volumetric output level of either a hands free mode of operation or a handset mode of operation. A noncontact proximity sensor detects proximity of the handset to a user. If the sensed proximity indicates that the handset is positioned proximate to the user, the maximum volumetric output level is constrained to be no greater than a maximum handset mode of operation level. If the sensed proximity is greater than a minimum distance, high volumetric output levels are permitted of the handset receiver.

Abstract: This invention relates to methods for deoxygenation utilizing bulk metal catalysts feedstocks derived in part or whole from biological sources and alternatively, further hydrotreatment processing of such deoxygenated feedstocks. Feedstocks containing bio-derived feed components, and preferably additionally mineral oil feed components, are deoxygenated in a first stage or zone using a bulk metal catalyst. In additional embodiments, the deoxygenated feedstock effluent from the deoxygenation stage is further subjected to a hydrodesulfurization stage or zone.

Abstract: Circuits, methods, chambers, systems, and computer programs are presented for processing wafers. A wafer processing apparatus includes top and bottom electrodes inside a processing chamber; a first, second, third, and fourth radio frequency (RF) power sources; and one or more resonant circuits. The first, second, and third RF power sources are coupled to the bottom electrode. The top electrode may be coupled to the fourth RF power source, to electrical ground, or to the one or more resonant circuits. Each of the one or more resonant circuits, which are coupled between the top electrode and electrical ground, include a tune-in element operable to vary a frequency-dependent impedance presented by the resonant circuit. The wafer processing apparatus is configurable to select the RF power sources for wafer processing operations, as well as the connections to the top electrode in order to provide plasma and etching uniformity for the wafer.
