Abstract: A miniature sieve apparatus is described and includes a first sieve, a separator and a second sieve from top to bottom. The first and second sieves are formed with at least one first mesh and a plurality of second meshes, respectively. The first and second meshes are misaligned with each other in a vertical direction of the first and second sieves. The miniature sieve apparatus is provided to separate or screen microparticles with different sizes, such as target cells, bio-medical particles, organic or inorganic microparticles. Additionally, the invention also provides a manufacturing method of the miniature sieve apparatus, and the same material is applied to manufacture the sieves and the separators. Thus, the problem caused by the residual thermal stress due to different material can be solved. Therefore, the cost of the miniature sieve apparatus can be lowered as the yield rate thereof is improved.

Abstract: Described is a method of making a reduced-sodium food product and the resulting food product itself. In the method, a corresponding full-sodium food product is designated as containing 100% sodium from NaCl. The method includes the steps of preparing a food product using no more than about 50 wt % NaCl from flake salt as compared to the corresponding full-sodium food product and up to 45 wt % NaCl provided from soy sauce or natural flavor enhancer as compared to the corresponding full-sodium food product. The result is a reduced-sodium food product that is at least 5 wt % reduced in NaCl as compared to the full-sodium food product.

Abstract: A resource allocation method of a base station for a device-to-device (D2D) communication link based on a cellular communication system includes providing operation information which includes information about one or more resource allocation patterns available for the D2D communication link to terminals which perform D2D communication according to each terminal and each D2D communication link, receiving a buffer status report (BSR) from the terminals which perform the D2D communication, and transmitting an indication value which indicates at least one of the resource allocation patterns based on the BSR. Accordingly, in the resource allocation method, low capacity of downlink control channels is required by the base station, yet flexible and efficient allocation of resources is enabled.

Abstract: Automated, standardized and accurate extraction of relationships within text. Automatic extraction of such relationships/information allows the information to be stored in structured form so that it can be easily and accurately retrieved when needed. Such information can be used to build online search engines for highly specific and accurate information retrieval. The current invention discloses a novel approach to extract such information from raw text based on natural language processing (NLP) and graph theoretic algorithm. The novel method can be applied, for example, to extract protein-protein relationships in biomedical literature. The method can be easily extended to extract other biological relationships between biological terms such as proteins, genes, pathways, diseases and drugs. The method can also be applied to other information domains to extract other relationships.

Abstract: A digital content reordering method and a digital content aggregator are provided, in which a reading behavior log and/or a social behavior log of a user are analyzed to obtain a preference factor of the user regarding digital contents in at least one content stream. The digital content reordering method and the digital content aggregator aggregate the at least one content stream into an aggregated stream and determine the order of the digital contents in the aggregated stream according to a time factor of the digital contents and the preference factor of the user regarding the digital contents. This reordering process allows the user to view the latest, the most related, and the most interesting digital contents first.

Abstract: A method for preparing a hemisphere-shaped dosage form containing drug. A high molecular weight solution containing the drug is prepared, and the solution is then dropped onto a base material. The interface phenomenon between the solution and different base materials causes the solution to form a hemisphere-shaped liquid drop dosage. After solidifying by cross-link or evaporation, a hemisphere-shaped dosage form containing drug is obtained. The advantages of the preparation method are a simple and fast process, and simple operation. Applications of the preparation method to prepare a hemisphere-shaped dosage form containing drug are also provide.

Abstract: A method, a mobile relay using the same and a DeNB using the same are proposed. The present disclosure reduces the time required to perform wireless service handover by detecting the movement status of the mobile relay relative to a candidate DeNB as to determine whether a mobile relay is approaching or leaving a candidate handover DeNB. By incorporating the movement status into a report sent to the serving DeNB, the serving DeNB would require less time to make handover decisions since the reporting interval could be reduced to one interval, and the time to trigger would not be required. The movement status could be determined based on the propagation time of signals, a list of neighbor cell information, or the Doppler effect.

Abstract: There is provided a method for synchronization between one or more base stations to provide broadcast multicast service, including: receiving a session start request message, and extracting a service start setting time set to start broadcast service from the session start request message; comparing the service start setting time to a modification check time being a check time which is later than and closest to the service start setting time, among check times at which it is determined whether or not broadcast service has changed, the check times having a predetermined time interval; deciding, when the modification check time is later than the service start setting time by a predetermined internal slack time period or more, the modification check time as a service start time at which broadcast service starts; and transmitting information indicating the service start time to the base stations.

Abstract: Provided are blends of branched hydrocarbon comb polymers having tailored branching and molecular weight parameters, with substantially linear polymers. Such blends have been found to have improved extensional rheological properties, while maintaining nearly the viscosity of the substantially linear polymers. The blends of the hydrocarbon comb polymers with the substantially linear polymers thus maintain the extrusion processing characteristics of the linear polymer alone, but have improved extensional flow processability, with strain hardening ratios (SHR) greater than 1. The blends are effective in blown film processing. Also disclosed are related methods for improving extensional flow processability using the branched hydrocarbon comb polymers, as well as the branched hydrocarbon comb polymers themselves, including as a property enhancing additive for such substantially linear polymers.
