Patent number: 4615250Abstract: A household slicing machine wherein a disc shaped rotary knife is mounted in a vertical plane and a guard, which is separable from the housing of the machine, is movable in a second plane that is parallel to the vertical plane of the knife between a first position in which the guard cooperates with an adjustable abutment to conceal the knife, a second position in which the knife is exposed and the machine is ready for use, and a third position in which the guard can be detached from the housing. A spring-biased locking element is reciprocably mounted in the front wall of the housing to extend into an opening of the guard when the latter assumes its second position and to extend in front of an end face of the guard when the latter assumes its first position. This prevents accidental shifting of the guard from the selected position because each such shifting must be preceded by manual depression of the locking element.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 1984Date of Patent: October 7, 1986Assignee: Robert Krups Stiftung & Co. Patent number: 4615323Abstract: A pump/nozzle unit having an injection nozzle installed at at least approximately right angles to the longitudinal axis (A) on the pump housing of the piston injeciton pump. The injection pump is supported with a support face, which embodies its most extreme axial extension, on a support bearing located on the cylinder head of the engine. The support face is embodied by an outwardly pointing end face of a counterpart piston which is inserted into the pump cylinder in an extension of the longitudinal axis (A) and, with an inner end face, seals off the pump work chamber in a pressure-tight manner. As a result, the pumping forces resulting from the fuel which is placed under pressure in the pump work chamber are kept from affecting the pump housing and intercepted at a location on the cylinder head which is remote from a receiving bore for the injection nozzle.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1985Date of Patent: October 7, 1986Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Jean LeBlanc, Francois Rossignol

Patent number: 4612845Abstract: A valve assembly for controlling fluid flow between a fluid source and a load has an intake valve having a valve body displaceable between a closed position preventing flow through the intake valve and an open position permitting such flow and an output valve having a valve body displaceable between a closed position preventing flow through the output valve and an open position permitting such flow. Conduits or passages connect the valves in series between the load and the source so that fluid can only flow between the load and source when both of the valves are in their open positions. Respective biasing units urge each of the valves into one of its positions and respective electromagnet-type actuators are electrically energizable to move each valve into the other of its positions. The one position of one of the valves is the closed position and the one position of the other valve is the open position. In addition the two valves are substantially identical.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 1984Date of Patent: September 23, 1986Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Rainer Burkel, Peter Zieher

Patent number: 4613893Abstract: Digitalized luminance and color difference signals, the former sampled at twice the sampling frequency of the latter, are interleaved into two data streams (k, m) in each of which a sample of the luminance signal separates samples of different color television signals, one of these streams then being delayed by one period, so the two data streams will simultaneously present successive samples of the same signal component (luminance or color difference). A system of transfer switches and two pairs of 1-kilobyte (one line) stores then makes possible the sequencing, at twice the sampling rate of the luminance component, of all the luminance signal bytes of a television line followed by all of the bytes for that line of one color difference component and finally all of the bytes for that line of the other color television component, with the desired ratio of component segment length in each line, as a time-multiplex color television signal.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 1984Date of Patent: September 23, 1986Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventor: Otto Weitzel
