Abstract: An imaging structure identification system includes an optical imaging system configured to illuminate a liquid biopsy sample for a subject. The liquid biopsy sample has one or more biological structures that are labeled with one or more fluorophores associated with a fluorescence assay for a disease state allowing detection of emitted electromagnetic radiation from the liquid biopsy sample as image data. The system also includes a processing system configured to identifying the subject as being at reduced risk for having the disease state if the subject profile is similar to the first predetermined profile for subjects not being in the disease state. However, if the subject profile is not similar to the first predetermined profile for subjects not being in the disease state it is not determinative if the subject is in the disease state.

Abstract: An electrode including a substrate, a binding compound, and a composite. The composite includes jute-activated carbon and a nickel-cobalt-layered double hydroxide (NiCoLDH). Particles of the NiCoLDH are in the form of nanoflowers with an average size of 5-15 ?m. The nanoflowers comprise nanosheets with an average thickness of 5-20 nm. The particles of the jute-activated carbon are in the form of interconnected nanosheets, which form a porous carbon framework. The porous carbon framework connects the nanoflowers, thereby forming an interconnected structure in the composite. A mixture of the composite and the binding compound is coated on the surface of the substrate. The electrode can be included in supercapacitors and power banks.

Abstract: Fluidic systems, devices and methods are provided for separating and sequestering particles from a fluid flow within traps in a fluidic chip is provided. The fluidic platform is particularly suited for parallel live zebrafish embryo studies providing automated zebrafish embryo trapping and flow through culture as well as whole mount zebrafish antibody staining functions. The zebrafish on a chip testing platform uses a chaotic hydrodynamic trapping process to trap and retain zebrafish embryos in a consistent body orientation (i.e., head pointed inward) without any external adjustments. The system and apparatus can also be adapted to be a multifunctional concentration gradient generator (CGG) that can be used to automatically immobilize dechorionated zebrafish embryos and generate chemical gradients for acute fish embryo toxicity (FET) tests.

Abstract: A process equipment system of hydraulic oil circuit blocks and an automated production line thereof, which relates to the field of mechanical processing technology. In view of the problem of low production efficiency in the positioning and processing of hydraulic oil circuit blocks, based on the six-point positioning principle, the workpiece is achieved the six-point positioning by the support components, positioning devices, and clamping devices on the upper layer of the base. The clamping device is capable to move along the chain, so as to adjust and change the clamping position, and can achieve processing five surfaces through one-time clamping of oil circuit blocks, improving positioning accuracy and processing efficiency, meeting the needs of automated production.

Abstract: A highly sensitive technology enabling selective recognition of aflatoxins such as in contaminated cereal samples. Methods for the synthesis of AgNP-containing MIP membranes from the monomer mixtures containing both methacrylate monomers and oligomers as well as AgNOs solution in dimethylformamide enable the detection system. The AgNP were formed in the structure of the polymeric membranes during the pre-heating step followed by the UV-initiated polymerization. The highly selective sensor elements where MIP membranes are combined with the Ag nanostructures as signal amplifiers (LSPR-MIP nanochips) can be stored separately and used with a simple optical recognition system as selective elements of point-of-care sensor devices, even in in-field conditions. Composite plasmonic membranes provide both highly selective recognition of the target toxin and the generation of an enhanced optical signal, allowing aflatoxin B1 detection at ultralow concentrations.
