    Abstract: A UE and a method for FBE operation in an unlicensed band are provided. The method includes receiving, from a BS, DCI scheduling a scheduled PUSCH and indicating that an initiator of a CO of a FFP for the scheduled PUSCH is the UE; initiating the CO by transmitting a configured PUSCH within the CO to the BS, after determining that a DL signal has not been detected within a second FFP before a start time of the configured PUSCH, the scheduled PUSCH right after the configured PUSCH; and transmitting, to the BS, the scheduled PUSCH within the CO after receiving the DCI. The start time of the configured PUSCH is aligned with a start time of the FFP; an end time of the configured PUSCH is before a start time of an idle period of the FFP and a start time of an idle period of the second FFP; and the second FFP overlaps the FFP and is used when the BS operates as an initiating device for the FBE operation.

The device may include an antenna having a resonating arm formed from the first segment, an antenna ground, and a tuning element. The tuning element may have first, second, and third terminals. The first terminal may be coupled to the second segment. The antenna may have a switchable loop path that includes a first path from the second terminal to the first segment, a second path from first segment to a first point on the antenna ground, a portion of the antenna ground from the first point to a second point, and a third path from the second point to the third terminal. The tuning element may selectively activate the switchable loop path to boost performance of the antenna in a frequency band between 3300 MHz and 5000 MHz when needed.

    Abstract: A method for transmitting a HARQ-ACK by a UE is provided. The method receives an SPS configuration. The method then receives a DCI format which activates the SPS configuration and also indicates a first offset for transmitting the HARQ-ACK. After receiving an SPS PDSCH associated with the SPS configuration in a first slot, the method identifies a second slot based on the first slot and the first offset for transmitting the HARQ-ACK. The method determines whether a first PUCCH for transmitting the HARQ-ACK is contained within uplink/flexible symbols of the second slot. When the first PUCCH is not contained within the uplink/flexible symbols and also a parameter that is included in the SPS configuration indicates a deferred HARQ transmission, the method identifies a third slot based on the first slot and a second offset and transmits the HARQ-ACK on a second PUCCH in the third slot.

    Abstract: An algorithm-driven digital ultraviolet (UV) lithography (DUL) method and apparatus used to fabricate high-quality optical waveguide and many other kinds of high-resolution microstructures without the use of a photomask. Instead of the use of an actual photomask, a virtual mask based on a spatial light modulator is used. The DUL method and apparatus can compensate for a proximity effect caused by light scattering and make the exposure adaptive to a nonlinear response curve of a photoresist, in which an exposure dose-map is created based on the bitmap of a designed pattern together with the optimization parameters determined by system configuration and the photoresist. To fabricate large-area patterns, a plurality of sliced exposure dose-submaps with transition zones that can depress the stitching error caused by mechanical mispositioning are generated for digital lithographic exposure process.
