  • Publication number: 20240397459
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for training and deploying machine-learned communication over RF channels. In some implementations, information is obtained. An encoder network is used to process the information and generate a first RF signal. The first RF signal is transmitted through a first channel. A second RF signal is determined that represents the first RF signal having been altered by transmission through the first channel. Transmission of the first RF signal is simulated over a second channel implementing a machine-learning network, the second channel representing a model of the first channel. A simulated RF signal that represents the first RF signal having been altered by simulated transmission through the second channel is determined. A measure of distance between the second RF signal and the simulated RF signal is calculated. The machine-learning network is updated using the measure of distance.

  • Publication number: 20240390672
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are provided to treat damaged, diseased, abnormal, obstructive, cancerous or undesired tissue (e.g. a tumor, a benign tumor, a malignant tumor, a cyst, or an area of diseased tissue, etc) by delivering specialized pulsed electric field (PEF) energy to target tissue areas. The energy is delivered in a manner so as to be non-thermal (i.e. below a threshold for causing thermal ablation). Consequently, when extracellular matrices present, the extracellular matrices are preserved, and the targeted tissue maintains its structural architecture including blood vessels and lymphatics. Thus, sensitive structures, such as biological lumens, blood vessels, nerves, etc, are preserved which are critical to maintaining the integrity and functionality of the tissue. The energy is delivered with the use of systems and devices advantageously designed for superior access to target tissue throughout the body, particularly in locations previously considered inaccessible to percutaneous approaches.

  • Publication number: 20240390730
Abstract: A novel, portable two-axis perturbation device includes two separated X-Y plane motion platforms controlled by respective motor pairs that may be independently controlled with respect to frequency, amplitude, and variation of movement patterns to create “bottom-up” unpredictable movement patterns more closely resembling real world environmental interactions. By reproducing the amplitude, frequency, direction and variability of external stimuli that may disrupt human balance, the device provides a novel way to train, rehabilitate, reproduce, manipulate and ultimately improve reactive balance reflexes, proprioception and kinesthetic awareness in a way that “top down” perturbation cannot.

  • Publication number: 20240395281
Abstract: A health condition or change in health condition of a person may be determined by processing the person's speech with a neural network. Speech from more than one time period may be processed and, in some implementations, speech from a time period may be associated with a health condition label. For each time period, a feature vector may be computed from the speech and the feature vector may be processed with a neural network to obtain a speech embedding vector. In some implementations, feature vector may include word-piece encodings and the neural network may be a transformer neural network. The speech embedding vectors may be processed with a mathematical model to determine a change in a health condition between two time periods or to determine a health condition label for a specific time period. In some implementations, the mathematical model may be a regression model or a fully-connected neural network.

  • Patent number: 12141160
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing in-flight transformations of data streams. Complex event processing (CEP) operating on event records from various data streams can operate by storing the streamed event record data in a database, and then querying the data to perform a data transformation. However, in order to improve the performance of the data transformations and streamline CEP, a serverless architecture is introduced that can perform data transformations directly on streams, using attributes of the streamed record data defined in a schema. The resulting transformed data can then be provided by the serverless architecture to the CEP for direct access of the data most needed by the CEP.
