  • Patent number: 11756208
Abstract: In implementations of object boundary generation, a computing device implements a boundary system to receive a mask defining a contour of an object depicted in a digital image, the mask having a lower resolution than the digital image. The boundary system maps a curve to the contour of the object and extracts strips of pixels from the digital image which are normal to points of the curve. A sample of the digital image is generated using the extracted strips of pixels which is input to a machine learning model. The machine learning model outputs a representation of a boundary of the object by processing the sample of the digital image.

  • Patent number: 11741981
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are described for reducing degradation of a voice recognition input. An always listening device may always be listening for voice commands via a microphone and may experience interference from unwanted audio such as from the output audio of television speakers. The always listening device may receive data associated with the output audio over a first communications channel. The always listening device may also receive, on a second communications channel, timing information associated with data. The always listening device may adjust admission of the audio received by the microphone to enable it to arrive at approximately the same time as the data received via the first communications channel. The unwanted output audio included in the audio received via the microphone may then be determined and may be removed so that a voice command in the audio received by the microphone may be processed.

  • Publication number: 20230232177
Abstract: An illustrative application executing on a first device establishes a first network connection between the first device and a collaboration platform server managing a set of components for a collaboration platform providing voice communication services with respect to a virtual space. Using the first network connection, the application: 1) sets a first location within the virtual space at which a first voice component is positioned, and 2) determines a second location within the virtual space at which a second voice component is positioned. The application receives, by way of a second network connection between the first and second devices, audio data representing voice communication originating at the second device. Based on the first and second locations, the application generates a spatialized rendering of the audio data for presentation to a user. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230228850
Abstract: The receiver captures an electromagnetic transmission carrying a bauded signal, such as a transmission from an orbiting satellite, and processes it for Doppler shift analysis. The electromagnetic transmission is captured and a non-linear operation is performed to expose a cyclostationary feature of the captured transmission that will define a rate-line. This rate-line will exist at a frequency that is related to the bauded signal and Doppler shift relative to the motion of the transmitter to the receiver. The rate-line frequency is tracked in time to generate data indicative of a Doppler shift associated with the satellite and processed by an estimator fed by satellite propagator to supply positioning, navigation and timing services at the receiver output.
