  • Patent number: 8014736
Abstract: A distortion compensating apparatus includes following units. An information measuring unit measures a distortion component and an electric power component based on a radiation signal. A compensation coefficient calculating unit calculates a compensation coefficient based on the distortion component and the electric power component. A signal transmitting unit outputs a signal corrected by the compensation coefficient as a transmission signal. A signal converting unit converts the transmission signal into a high frequency signal. An amplitude separating unit amplifies the high frequency signal and separates a portion thereof as a signal to be fed back. A feeding-back unit processes the portion and outputs the result as a feedback signal to the information measuring unit.

  • Publication number: 20100135280
Abstract: The migration of telephone services by a telecommunications carrier from a PSTN to an IP network entails that problem that when it is not possible for some telephone subscribers to migrate to the IP network due to the types of their telephone lines or services they subscribe to, other subscribers also cannot migrate to the IP network until the former subscribers migrate to the IP network. The present invention provides a media gateway that enables a gradual transition from a PSTN to an IP network on a subscriber-by-subscriber basis or on a service-by-service basis so that a telecommunications carrier can efficiently migrate its subscribers while continuing to provide the services the subscribers currently use and reducing burdens on the subscribers.

  • Patent number: 7729699
Abstract: In a mobile communication system having an ATM-processed transfer path, a non-instantaneous interrupt handover can be realized. In a mobile communication network including an ATM-processed transfer path, when a mobile station is moved between cells during communication, frames are received to be identified by a mobile switching center. The frames contain the same data received from both base stations covering the cell range at asynchronous timing different from each other. A selection is made of header information with the lowest error rate from the header information of these frames. The frames are connected at instructed timing. Also, the frames to be transmitted to a plurality of base stations are duplicated, and then transmission timing is specified from these header information. These duplicated frames are transmitted at the specified transmission timing, so that the non-instantaneous interrupt handover is carried out.

  • Patent number: 7691203
Abstract: A film forming apparatus is provided that can prevent source gases from reacting together before reaching the substrate being processed in the apparatus, minimize the influence of the radiation heat from the substrate, and make the gas behavior in the reaction chamber better for crystal film formation. The apparatus forms a film on a surface of a heated substrate 5 by causing a first source gas and a second source gas to react together. The apparatus has a processing chamber 1, in which the substrate 5 is placed. The processing chamber 1 is divided into a heating chamber 1a and a reaction chamber 1b by at least the substrate 5 so that the substrate surface can be exposed to the source gases in the reaction chamber 1b. The apparatus further has an exhaust duct 7, through which the exhaust gas can be discharged. The exhaust duct 7 faces the exposed substrate surface and connects with the reaction chamber 1b.
