  • Patent number: 7047433
Abstract: A higher frequency clock and a lower frequency clock are locked at a predetermined phase relationship. A total number of pulses of the higher frequency clock occurring between two sequential rising edges of the lower frequency are calculated. A count start signal is generated in response to a rising edge of the lower frequency clock. A value of a lower frequency clock count is set in response to the count start signal. The value of the lower frequency clock decrements in accordance with a frequency of the higher frequency clock. When the value of the lower frequency clock has decreased by the total number of pulses of the higher frequency clock occurring between two consecutive rising edges of the lower frequency minus 1, a synchronization signal is generated for indicating occurrence of the predetermined phase relationship between the higher frequency clock and the lower frequency clock.

Abstract: A versatile head-to-foot wind and raincoat includes a coat body, a pair of extension portions, pant coverings, fixing devices and retaining units. The fixing devices are respectively affixed to lower portions of the pant covering, and provide a margin for the pant coverings to displace and extend without affecting free movement of extending and retracting the legs when wearing the pant coverings. Furthermore, when walking along a street, the street surface will not cause damage to the structure of the pant coverings. When the pant coverings are not needed, it can be folded away and retained in the retaining units. Furthermore, the wind and raincoat and a rain-hat structure combination structure is formed within a collar interlayer of the coat body. The coat body is furnished with upper and lower adjoining members, which, after mutual adjoining, form holding space structures for storing the folded pant coverings, and so on.

  • Publication number: 20060079068
Abstract: A method to reduce the inverse narrow width effect in NMOS transistors is described. An oxide liner is deposited in a shallow trench that is formed to isolate active areas in a substrate. A photoresist plug is formed in the shallow trench and is recessed below the top of the substrate to expose the top portion of the oxide liner. An angled indium implant through the oxide liner into the substrate is then performed. The plug is removed and an insulator is deposited to fill the trenches. After planarization and wet etch steps, formation of a gate dielectric layer and a patterned gate layer, the NMOS transistor exhibits an improved Vt roll-off of 40 to 45 mVolts for both long and short channels. The improvement is achieved with no degradation in junction or isolation performance. The indium implant dose and angle may be varied to provide flexibility to the process.

Abstract: A driving system of a liquid crystal display includes a pixel data line, a timing controller, a source driver and a gate driver. The pixel data line provides pixel data to the source driver directly. The timing controller is operative to receive a clock signal and a synchronization signal, so as to output a source control signal and a gate control signal. The source driver receives the clock signal, the source control signal and the pixel data, so as to output an image data signal. Upon receiving the gate control signal, the gate driver is operative to output an on/off signal.

  • Publication number: 20060055350
Abstract: A complex type temperature control circuit for a cooling fan includes two or more resistance series sets. The first resistance series set is a resistor connecting in series with a temperature sensing member. The second resistance series set is a resistor connecting in series with a temperature sensing member too. Further, the second resistance series set is connected in parallel to the temperature sensing member of the first resistance series set. Hence, the complex type temperature control circuit can make a voltage change rate resulting from temperature change increases such that a range of fan rotational speed change can be increased under the same temperature change.

  • Publication number: 20060044876
Abstract: A method for programming a split gate memory cell comprises the following steps. First, a split gate memory cell formed on a semiconductor substrate of a first conductive type, e.g., p-type, is provided. The split gate memory cell has two bitlines of a second conductive type, e.g., n-type, a select gate, a floating gate, a wordline and a dielectric layer deposited between the floating gate and the semiconductor substrate, wherein the select gate and floating gate are transversely disposed between the two bitlines, the wordline is above the select gate and floating gate. Second, a positive voltage is applied to the wordline so as to turn on the floating gate, and a negative voltage is applied to the bitline next to the floating gate, whereby a bias voltage across the tunnel dielectric layer is generated for programming, that is, the so called F-N programming.

  • Publication number: 20060001741
Abstract: A realtime video display method of mixed signals applies to a monitoring system. The monitoring system has a monitoring host connected to a plurality of digital monitoring devices and a plurality of analog monitoring devices. In this method, digital video data from an Internet/LAN/WAN and analog video data from a transmission interface are first received. Next, a data fetch server is used to collect the video data for processing and then output the processed image data to a data mixer. The data mixer then merges the digital video data and the analog video data into a signal mixing different data sources. The digital video data and the analog video data can thus be displayed at a browse terminal in real time. Therefore, signals of different types can be integrated for realtime display on the same management screen to effectively exploit a real benefit of security management.
