    Abstract: The present invention relates to a dual-TFT-substrate blue-phase liquid crystal display panel. The dual-TFT-substrate blue-phase liquid crystal display panel includes a top polarizer, a top TFT substrate, a blue phase liquid crystal layer, a bottom TFT substrate, and a bottom polarizer, which are sequentially stacked from top to bottom. The top and bottom TFT substrates have identical IPS electrode structures and the IPS electrode structures respectively drives the top and bottom TFT substrates. The dual-TFT-substrate blue-phase liquid crystal display panel further includes a color filter, which is arranged at one side of the top TFT substrate or one side of the bottom TFT substrate. The dual-TFT-substrate blue-phase liquid crystal display panel of the present invention uses an arrangement of dual-side IPS structure to reduce the operation voltage of a blue phase liquid crystal display device.

    Abstract: A method of forming a semiconductor structure may include forming at least one fin and forming, over a first portion of the at least one fin structure, a gate. Gate spacers may be formed on the sidewalls of the gate, whereby the forming of the spacers creates recessed regions adjacent the sidewalls of the at least one fin. A first epitaxial region is formed that covers both one of the recessed regions and a second portion of the at least one fin, such that the second portion extends outwardly from one of the gate spacers. A first epitaxial layer is formed within the one of the recessed regions by etching the first epitaxial region and the second portion of the at least one fin. A second epitaxial region is formed at a location adjacent one of the spacers and over the first epitaxial layer within one of the recessed regions.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal medium composition of liquid crystal display includes: a negative liquid crystal material, reactive monomer, an initiator, and a stabilizer. The initiator functions to induce photo polymerization of the reactive monomer. The initiator has a molecular structure comprising aromatic rings, carbonyl groups connected to the aromatic rings, and substituted moieties connected to the aromatic rings. The initiator lowers the activation energy of chain initiation reaction of the polymerization of reactive monomer to allow the photo polymerization of the reactive monomer to take place in a wider wavelength range of 200-450 nm, so as to reduce the required intensity and luminance of ultraviolet light and to speed up the reaction of the reactive monomers and also to provide a uniform result of reaction, to reduce the destruction that the ultraviolet light causes on the material of alignment layer and the liquid crystal material, and to improve stability of the panel.

    Abstract: It is disclosed herein that condroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4 (CSPG4), also known as high molecular weight melanoma associated antigen, is overexpressed on basal breast carcinoma cells (BBC), specifically triple negative basal breast carcinoma cells (TNBC). Methods for detecting basal breast cancer in a subject are disclosed. Methods are also disclosed for inhibiting the growth of a basal breast cancer cell. These methods include contacting the basal breast cancer cell with an effective amount of an antibody that specifically binds CSPG4. Additional treatment methods, and the use of antibody panels, are also described herein.

Each sub-pixel regions is surrounded by four connected baffle panels, which collectively form a black matrix block wall. The second substrate is positioned on the black matrix block wall to face the first substrate so as to enclose the liquid crystal in the sub-pixel regions. The liquid crystal display panel uses liquid crystal that contains red, green, or blue dye and a black matrix block wall that blocks the liquid crystal to form the R, G, B sub-pixels, so that the manufacture steps are lessened, the structure is simple, and the cost is low.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a liquid crystal panel, including: manufacturing a first substrate and a second substrate; mixing sealant with alloy particles having low melting points, coating the mixture on the first substrate, and dropping liquid crystals on the first substrate; and bonding the first substrate and the second substrate, heating the two bonded substrates, and then cooling the substrates. Therefore, the manufacturing method can prevent the present golden balls from piercing the common electrodes and further prevent the short circuit of the circuit on the substrate, which improves the yield rate of the liquid crystal panel. Additionally, since the alloy particles are small sized, after the separate alloy particles melt, contacting points between the alloy particles and the common electrodes are increased.

The single-polymerisable-group monomer or the multiple-polymerisable-group monomer is capable of being irradiated by ultraviolet light to allow for the polymerization reaction to form the polymer. Additionally, the reaction speed is moderate to prevent the polymer from being oversized and loosely piled up for high reaction speed.
