  • Publication number: 20180191045
Abstract: A filtering switch based on dielectric resonator is disclosed which comprising a rectangular dielectric resonator, a metal cavity in which the dielectric resonator is located, a switch circuitry and a T-shape feeding line structure. The ON- and OFF-states of the filtering switch based on dielectric resonator are realized by controlling a coupling between the dielectric resonator and the feeding line structure. EM fields of the rectangular dielectric resonator and T-shape feeding line structure have been theoretically analyzed and utilized to guide the coupling control. The results have shown low ON-state loss, high power capability and high OFF-state isolation. Transmission zeros are generated at both sides of the passband by cross coupling between dielectric resonators or between feeding line structures and coupling line structures, resulting in high skirt selectivity.

  • Publication number: 20180151955
Abstract: A low-profile dual-band filtering patch antenna and its application to LTE MIMO system are disclosed. By using two embedded U-shaped radiating patches and a multi-stub microstrip feed-line, two operating bands and four radiation nulls can been generated and individually controlled, the design is thus very simple and flexible. Based on the proposed low-profile dual-band filtering patch antenna, a MIMO antenna with a very low profile, low mutual coupling and low ECCs has been presented.

  • Patent number: 9941596
Abstract: A dual-polarized filtering antenna comprising a driven patch, a parasitic stacked patch and a feeding network is disclosed. Two orthogonal H-shaped feeding lines are coupled to the driven patch for realizing dual polarization. The H-shaped feeding line provides a sharp roll-off rate at the lower band-edge, whereas the stacked patch offers a radiation null at the upper stopband. As a result, a quasi-elliptic bandpass response can be achieved for both polarizations.

  • Publication number: 20180034156
Abstract: A filtering antenna element and a dual-band filtering antenna array using filtering antenna elements for mutual coupling suppression have been disclosed. The filtering antenna element comprises a feeding element, a sub-substrate, a sup-substrate and an air gap between the sub-substrate and the sup-substrate. A stacked patch is fabricated on a top surface of the sub-substrate, a driven patch and a ground plane are fabricated on a top surface and a bottom surface of the sub-substrate. An asymmetric E-slot is arranged on the driven patch and a shorting pin is inserted into the sub-substrate for generating radiation nulls in stopbands. The dual-band filtering antenna array is compact and needs no feeding network with an isolation of 35 dB, and is suitable for potential base station applications.

  • Patent number: 9866791
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for reducing network delay in video conferencing using random tree pushing. A plurality of nodes is randomly selected as next hop forwarders for a piece of content by a source who generates a video stream. Additional next hop forwarders are added to the randomly selected plurality of nodes to form a set of next hop forwarders until a total upload bandwidth of all next hop forwarders is no less than a bandwidth required to deliver the video stream to a set of receivers. The set of receivers in a video session is partitioned and each of the set of receivers is assigned to one of the set of next hop forwarders for forwarding the video stream to an assigned receiver either directly or through a multi-hop path.

  • Patent number: 9854023
Abstract: A method for disseminating content over an overlay network having a plurality of routers in communication with providers and consumers of content is disclosed. A router in the overlay network receives a content descriptor corresponding to a query for content from a node, and generates a subscriber interface list based on the query for the content. The subscriber interface list is transmitted to a plurality of subsequent routers in the overlay network, wherein a content identified by the subsequent routers that correspond to the query will be routed to the router based on the subscriber interface list. The router receives first and second documents corresponding to the query for the content from the node. If the second document is the duplicate, the router deletes the second document and transmits the first document to the node or if not the router transmits both the first and second documents to the node.
