  • Publication number: 20060103444
Abstract: A data output circuit of a memory device comprises an output enable signal generating unit, an output driving unit, an output driving unit and an output enable control unit. The output enable signal generating unit generates a reference output enable signal in response to a read command and outputting a plurality of output enable signals in response to a rising DLL clock and a falling DLL clock. The output driving unit drives data synchronously with respect to the rising DLL clock and the falling DLL clock in response to the output enable signals at a read mode. The output enable control unit disables the falling DLL clock when the output enable signals are all disabled. As a result, current consumption is reduced because the falling DLL clock is generated only when the output enable signal is generated.

  • Publication number: 20060055836
Abstract: A flat panel display device including a protecting sheet for protecting an upper surface is disclosed. The flat panel display device includes an image display part for displaying an image and a protecting part for protecting an outer surface thereof. The image display part displays the image by varying a voltage applied to electrodes oppositely formed on inner surfaces of a pair of transparent facing substrate respectively to thereby turn on or off each pixel. The protecting part is disposed on an outer surface of the substrate perceived by user's eye from an external shock or foreign mailers. Accordingly, the flat panel display device strongly resist the external shock, and the foreign matters are easily remove from the flat panel display device. The anti-glare treatment is carried out on the protecting sheet to thereby prevent dazzling of users due to the reflection of the light.

  • Patent number: 6987290
Abstract: A current-jump-control circuit including an abrupt metal-insulator phase transition device is proposed, and includes a source, the abrupt metal-insulator phase transition device and a resistive element. The abrupt metal-insulator phase transition device includes first and second electrodes connected to the source, and shows an abrupt metal-insulator phase transition characteristic of a current jump when an electric field is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode. The resistive element is connected between the source and the abrupt metal-insulator phase transition device to control a jump current flowing through the abrupt metal-insulator phase transition device. According to the above current control circuit, the abrupt metal-insulator phase transition device can be prevented from being failed due to a large amount of current and thus the current-jump-control circuit can be applied in various application fields.
