    Abstract: An AC high voltage detecting device includes a high voltage power supply (HVPS) to convert a low voltage into an AC high voltage, a rectifier to rectify the converted AC high voltage into a positive voltage and a negative voltage, a voltage divider to divide the rectified positive voltage and the rectified negative voltage into a first voltage and a second voltage, respectively; and a detector to read out a sum component of the first and the second voltages to detect the AC high voltage in a DC level. Since the AC high voltage supplied from the high voltage power supply is detected after being converted into a DC voltage, there is no variance caused due to various devices required to detect an AC voltage.

    Abstract: This invention disclosed is a comprehensive power quality controller for substation in the electric power system and includes a Thyristor Controlled Reactor (TCR), pure tuned passive filter Zf, additional inductor L active power filter (APF), and a coupling transformer. The Thyristor Controlled Reactor (TCR) provides inductive reactive power and controls the active power filter (APF) as the current source, it is connected with the additional inductor La in parallel via the coupling transformer, then connected to the passive filter Zf in serial to consist a hybrid power filter system, which is connected to the power grid via the circuit breaker or thyristor. The comprehensive filter system provides required capacitive reactive power and filters the harmonic produced by the load and TCR system itself. Because the capacity of the active power filter (APF) is very small which is less than 1% of the harmonic source capacity, so it is a solution with low cost but simple and reliable control mode.

    Abstract: An inrush current control circuit includes a first and second control units connected in series, wherein the first and second control units all have a current limiting resistor and switch connected in parallel. During execution of application code on the device, the persistent files are accessed using an access directory such as a look-up table. The access directory provides information that allows an application or other software code running on the processor of the device to locate and access a persistent file within a non-XIP flash memory device where the non-XIP flash memory device may include bad blocks. During creation of the access directory, locations of the bad blocks in the device are identified and recorded. Files are accessed from the non-XIP flash memory device by reading from file start locations identified in the access directory while accounting for bad blocks identified in the bad block data of the access directory.

    Abstract: A ternary content addressable memory (CAM) cell is disclosed for providing reduced or minimized matchline (ML) capacitance and for increasing current between matchline and tail-line in the case of a mismatch. The speed of a CAM cell is generally inversely proportional to its ML capacitance, and proportional to the current. Conventional ternary CAM cells have many matchline transistors, each contributing to the matchline capacitance. Embodiments of the present invention have a single matchline transistor between a matchline and a ground line, or tail-line, of the CAM cell. The single matchline transistor couples the matchline to the tail-line in response to a discharge signal from a compare circuit. The compare circuit can be divided into a pull-up section for driving a gate voltage level control node and a discharge section for discharging the gate voltage level control node, the discharge signal being provided at the gate voltage level control node.
