Abstract: A mud gun cap is provided. The mud gun cap includes a flame resistant outer face, a ring and a mounting device wherein the mud gun cap connects to a mud gun nozzle to protect the mud gun nozzle from deterioration because of contact with molten iron and slag. The mud gun cap also prevents, or at least reduces the amount of, mud falling out of the nozzle while the mud gun nozzle is rotated into operation position. In some embodiments, the mud gun cap has a selectively movable circular barrier that at least partially prevents the mixture of mud and iron/slag in the tap hole.

Abstract: An improved airspring assembly that includes a collapsible support member disposed within the pressurizable chamber of an airspring having a flexible sidewall. The support member is configured such that it extends and collapses along a longitudinal axis of the chamber responsive to pressurization and depressurization of the chamber, respectively. The support member also is configured such that it retains a substantially rigid outer perimeter, thereby restricting movement of the chamber's flexible sidewall toward the longitudinal axis when the chamber is depressurized. The support member also is configured such that it does not interfere with the full stroke of the airspring.

Abstract: A valve mechanism for a gas spring suspension system that equalizes the gas between positive and negative gas chambers when the pressure in the negative gas chamber exceeds the pressure in the positive gas chamber. The suspension system includes a tube, a piston assembly slidably displaceable along the tube and a valve mechanism. The piston assembly separates the tube into the positive gas chamber and the negative gas chamber. The valve mechanism is configured to permit gas flow between the positive and negative gas chambers when the gas pressure in the negative gas chamber exceeds the gas pressure in the positive gas chamber.

Abstract: A stopper structure including: a rigid abutting member extending in its longitudinal direction with a rectangular cross sectional shape; and a rubber stopper having a base portion of tubular cross sectional shape and secured press-fit onto the rigid abutting member without being adhesive thereto, two peripheral projections formed on laterally opposite sides of a first abutting plane of the base portion and extending in the longitudinal direction, and a central projection formed on an intermediate area interposed between the peripheral projections of the first abutting plane of the base portion. The peripheral projections are situated above laterally opposite edges of a first abutting plane of the rigid abutting member, and have a width dimension extending inside and outside the laterally opposite edges. The central projection projects outward from the first abutting plane of the base portion with the same height as the peripheral projections.

Abstract: A body mount for use in motor vehicles in which the mount is sandwiched between the subframe and body. The mount has an insert member with an oblong shape in the lateral displacement direction of the vehicle. The insert member is surrounded by a microcellular urethane body. The oblong shape increases the compression of the microcellular urethane body that can be used to respond to lateral forces. The lateral response rate can be stiffer than the fore and aft response rate. The isolation mount also can facilitate fine tuning thereof by selectively indenting a cup member surrounding the microcellular urethane body to adjust the vibration characteristics of the body mount.

Abstract: A device for paper separating and guiding is provided for separating a first paper sheet from a plurality of second paper sheets, and guiding the first paper sheet into a paper-feeding apparatus. The device includes a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface adjacent to each other. The first inclined surface is used for arranging the first paper sheet and a part of the second paper sheets stepwise, so that the first paper sheet located at the top layer is protruding forwards. The second inclined surface is used for blocking the other second paper sheets to maintain the paper sheets on the first inclined surface to be arranged stepwise, so that the process for paper separating and guiding is accomplished.

The paper grabbing assembly includes: a base with a pivot seat disposed thereon, wherein the shaft is pivotally disposed on the pivot seat; a bearing plate, pivotally disposed on the base corresponding to the paper grabbing roller; a driven member, connected to one end of the shaft; a cam member and an elastic member, rotatablely fitted on the shaft. The elastic member frictionally contacts the cam member and the driven member respectively, such that the driven member rotates the cam member via the elastic member, for pressing the bearing plate away from the paper grabbing roller. Further, when the cam member is stopped, the elastic member slides relative to the cam member, such that the driven member may not be affected by the cam member, but continue driving the paper grabbing roller to rotate.

According to the present invention, the number of parts is reduced, thereby simplifying an assembling process as well as reducing a manufacturing cost thereof so as to improve productivity.

Abstract: In order to seal hermetically threaded pipe joints a polytetrafluoroethylene monofilament with a rectangular cross-section is used, said monofilament being wound onto the external threading on the end of the smaller-diameter pipe onto which the internally threaded end of the larger-diameter pipe is wound. Small quantities of lubricant, preferably a biodegradable detergent composition, is applied onto the wound PTFE monofilament, moistening said wound material externally. In order to manufacture the PTFE monofilament, individual monofilaments are extruded and the extrusion additive removed from them by means of heating, followed by controlled stretching of the monofilament and calendering so as to impart to the monofilament the desired cross-sectional shape. A single dispenser is envisaged for dispensing the PTFE monofilament from a reel and the detergent composition.

The skate will flex with a few milliliters, from short to long sliding surface according the skaters movement. The steel is replaced by adapted steel strips that easily can be clicked on and off for changing/replacement. Abstract: A vehicle suspension provides increased auxiliary roll stiffness by utilizing spring assemblies having a thick truncated half-leaf, a thin full-leaf, and a thin truncated half-leaf located opposite the thick truncated half-leaf. The thick truncated half-leaf increases the torsional rigidity of the spring assembly in order to increase the leaf twist sub-component of auxiliary roll stiffness and increases the bending rigidity of half of the spring assembly in order to increase the axle torsion sub-component of auxiliary roll stiffness. The thin full-leaf provides structural integrity, and the thin half-leaf allows tuning of the overall vertical spring rate of the suspension and limits the leaf stresses in the thin full-leaf.

A pair of road wheels (18, 20) are mounted on each frame (12) for supporting that frame (12) on the ground, the wheels (18, 20) of each pair being mounted for rotation about operatively more or less horizontal rotational axes which are spaced apart along the associated frame (12). A motor (36) is connected by a drive train (48, 28, 30, 32) to a rear wheel (20) on each of the wheeled frames (12). The wheeled frames (12) are connected together for synchronous tilting relative to the vertical, so that the camber angles of all the wheels (18, 20) change in response to lateral tilting of the frames (12).
