Abstract: Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.

Abstract: A gel nail sticker includes a base film layer, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the base film layer is a PET release film or release paper, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is bonded to the bottom of a soft layer and connected with the base film layer; the soft layer is printed with at least one layer of screen printing color layer or shimmering powder layer by screen printing; a first crystal gel layer covers on the surface of the shimmering powder layer or the screen printing color layer, and a second crystal gel layer envelops the first crystal gel layer, the shimmering powder layer and the screen printing color layer, and is bonded to the soft layer and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. A manufacturing process for the gel nail sticker, includes screen printing of the various layers.

Abstract: A nail print apparatus includes a print head and a display control unit. The print head performs printing on a plurality of fingernails. The display control unit distinguishes between an under-printing fingernail and a not-under-printing fingernail to display the fingernails. The under-printing fingernail is a fingernail under printing performed by the print head. The not-under-printing fingernail is a fingernail not under printing performed by the print head.

Abstract: A dry nail polish appliqué to be applied to a fingernail. The nail appliqué has several layers. A bottom layer hides the color of the natural nail upon which the appliqué is applied. A top layer of a different color is applied on top of the color-hiding layer. The color of the top layer is, as such, uninfluenced by the natural nail color and it therefore appears sharp and crisp. The top layer could be of a translucent quality such that the top layer and bottom layer visually combine to produce a unique appearance.

Abstract: The invention provides a nail polish device for applying or removing nail polish. The nail polish device comprises a liquid delivering means for delivering a liquid nail polish or liquid nail polish removing composition; a main body structure substantially enclosing the liquid delivering means with an opening for receiving the fingers or toes of the user during use; and a vapor inhibiting material disposed on the main body structure, along the surface proximal to the liquid delivering means. The vapor inhibiting material is effective in inhibiting vapors and/or excess liquids from the liquid nail polish or removing composition by either absorbing same and/or neutralizing same.

Abstract: The claimed invention relates to a nail pen for nail varnish application along a distal perimeter portion of a nail. The claimed invention obviates certain problems associated with the process of applying nail varnish onto the distal-only perimeter of a nail by presenting an apparatus and/or means for applying nail varnish in a controlled, uniform manner along the distal perimeter of a nail. The claimed invention provides a controlled means of disseminating a uniform strip of nail varnish along the distal perimeter of a nail. This desirable outcome is effectuated even for different varnish residue thicknesses and/or varnish colors. Also provided is a nail varnish applicator with a channel made from an impermeable material.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a nail tip comprising of an artificial nail tip having a top surface and a bottom surface. The artificial nail tip has a plurality of decorative particles covering the entire top surface of the artificial nail tip and a base adhesive to attach the plurality of decorative particles to the top surface of the artificial nail tip and to other pluralities of decorative particles.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention relate to apparatuses and methods for improving sanitary conditions. Certain aspects relate to an apparatus having at least one protrusion for removing visible debris from a nail and at least one nail cleaning region comprising an impregnable material for containing a liquid. In one exemplary embodiment, several nail cleaning elements may be configured to each clean a different nail without cross contaminating any other nail cleaning element on the apparatus. In various exemplary embodiments, the liquid comprises an agent selected from the group consisting of: a biocide agent, moisturizing agent, a cleaning agent, and combinations thereof. Multiple nail cleaning elements may be positioned to permit the simultaneous cleaning of multiple nails without cross-contamination.

Abstract: A double colored nail appliqué, method of manufacturing and using, the appliqué having two different decorations sequentially via the user removing the top coat of a second colored enamel layer to expose an underlying base coat with a different, first colored enamel layer. The base coat is covered by a UV adhesive layer that protects it during the removal of the top coat. The nail appliqué may further comprise a metallic foil layer directly above or below the UV layer; a design imprinted on the top or bottom coat of enamel; and, a clear coat of enamel covering the top coat. Removal of the top coat(s) by the user does not damage the underlying coats/layers. Therefore, one nail appliqué can be used to offer two different appearing manicures without having to apply a new nail appliqué.

Abstract: A glove or sock for use during nail treatment where the glove or sock comprises: an opening for inserting a user's hand or foot; sheaths extending from the glove or sock, where the sheaths provide covering for the user's fingers or respectively the user's toes; and an opening at each end of each sheath, where the opening enables the exposure of user's finger nails or toe nails.

Abstract: A device and method for protecting the nails on a hand or foot from discoloration during a skin tanning process. The device is a one-piece “nail glove” configured to only cover the distal ends of the fingers or toes, while leaving the rest of the hand or foot exposed for the skin tanning process. The glove, which may be produced in the form of a low-cost disposable unit, is made from one or more materials, preferably UV resistant, and in some embodiments also biodegradable. The glove will be applied to the tips of the fingers or toes prior to the skin tanning process, kept on during the skin tanning process, and then removed afterwards. Various low cost materials and methods of producing and dispensing the device are also taught.

The device is a base portion on which a user can rest his or her hand, and a bottle holder portion that is fastened to the top of the base portion and securely holds a bottle of nail polish or nail polish remover while the user polishes the nails of the hand resting on the base portion. The base portion can curve upward and around to partially grip the user's fingers. The bottle holder may be an elastic flexible cup shaped to hold a bottle. The two parts can be detachable or integrated together.

Abstract: A hand drying device includes: a drying chamber; a nozzle; a supply unit; a hand detection sensor; a control unit; and an illuminating unit. The drying chamber includes: an opening; a first inner wall surface; and a second inner wall surface facing the first inner wall surface. A hand is inserted from the opening into a space between the first inner wall surface and the second inner wall surface. The nozzle is arranged on the first inner wall surface and is configured to blow an air stream toward the second inner wall surface. A center axis of the nozzle and an optical axis of the illuminating unit intersect with each other at a proper position in the drying chamber where a hand is supposed to be inserted.

Abstract: A preformed artificial nail assembly comprising a pair of artificial nails sized to correspond to at least a portion of said natural nail, and an application tab assembly extending between the pair of artificial nails. The application tab assembly includes a body portion and a neck portion adjacent each said artificial nail, said neck portion being disposed between the body portion and the lower surface of the free edge of the artificial nail. The application tab assembly may include an area of weakness that allows the assembly to be separated into two separate tabs, one adjacent each of the artificial nails of the pair. The user may utilize the application tab assembly as a single unit to place the nails, or separate the assembly into two separate tabs to allow the user to place the nails utilizing separate tabs.

Abstract: Nail polish remover strips are pre-sized for toe or fingernails and applied to a painted or artificial nail and left thereon for a predetermined period of time to dissolve the nail polish and/or nail bonding agent. Preferably a color change occurs to depict the appropriate dwelling time to dissolve the nail polish. Certain embodiments include odor reducing components. Preferably the strips are layered composites having an exterior odor impervious material, a layer of encapsulated acetone or nail polish removing agent, an absorbent layer, and a peelable backing, with the strips being curved to accommodate contact with a person's nail.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a nail sticker including a UV gel layer and a method for preparing same. In accordance with the embodiments of the present disclosure, the need of soaking a nail in a harmful solution for a long time for removal of a UV gel may be avoided while maintaining the advantages of the UV gel. Also, the problems that the opposite end of the cuticle is chipped or the end of the cuticle is peeled may be solved while maintaining the advantages of the UV gel.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for cosmetically disguising an unattractive finger or toe nail area of a negatively affected hand or foot digit by using a temporary, cosmetically appealing covering, by providing a cosmetic nail covering that will simulate the appearance of a nearby normal nail when a suitably sized and shaped cosmetic nail covering is applied to cover the nail area of the affected digit, and both the cosmetic nail covering and the nearby normal nails of the hand or foot are coated by a user with identical user-supplied nail polish. The covering is made from adhesive tape suitable for wrapping around a digit, and a pad sized and shaped to resemble a normal nail for the affected digit when the pad is adhered to the tape. The tape should enable forming a coating that is as smooth, level, and uniformly colored as natural nails when coated by conventional polish.

Abstract: Power LEDs are implanted in a specially designed printed circuit board (PCB) that is known in the art as a Metal Core Printed Circuit Board (MCPCB). The MCPCB is bended over to so as to have rounded corners having a radius that is not smaller than a determined value depending of the overall thickness of the MCPCB and other factors without any negative effects on the insulating layer and copper traces in the area of bending. In this manner, the surface area of the heat sink used in an LED nail care curing appliance is increased. The MCPCB with installed LEDs with rounded corners thereby follows the natural curvature (based on the shape of a human hand) of the appliance housing, eliminating the need for additional heat sinks or fans to reduce the heat generated by the LEDs.

Abstract: An artificial nail is formed by injection molding a first section and a second section. The first section and second section are adjacent to one another. One of the sections defines a front distal tip of the artificial nail and is formed by injecting a quantity of heated material under pressure from a nozzle into a sprue, through a runner and through a cavity gate into a mold cavity. The other section is formed by injecting another quantity of heated material under pressure from a heated nozzle through another cavity gate into the mold cavity.

Abstract: An artificial nail color changing system includes three sets of color containing elements, one for every basic color, composed of electromagnets which will repel natural magnets with colored fibers attached to it. The variable degree of deployment of the three sets of colored containing element will create the different hues. An electronic brush will contain a plurality of variable capacitors; their discharge will allow the different degrees of deployment of the color containing elements.

Abstract: An anti-leak system for preventing nail polish from leaking from a nail polish bottle featuring a collar that wraps around the shoulder area, the thread area and the cap of the nail polish bottle. Foam lines the inner surface of the collar. The foam fills any gaps that may occur between the thread area and the cap, for example if the cap is not completely closed. The collar can be compressed around the nail polish bottle and secured vie a locking mechanism.

Abstract: A foot covering to be worn on a human foot includes a sock that covers the human foot. The sock is characterized by a frontal opening that causes the toes of the human foot to be exposed. The sock includes an inner material that causes skin on portions of the human foot, which are covered by the sock, to be exfoliated while the sock is being worn on the human foot. The sock includes one or more loop connectors, which couples an upper portion of the frontal opening to a lower portion of the frontal opening such that the one or more loop connectors fits between at least two toes on the human foot. An upper cuff portion of the sock includes a string and/or an elastic material that enables the sock to fit snuggly around the portions of the human foot, which are covered by the sock.

Abstract: An artificial nail or tip arrangement and method of making the same are provided. The arrangement includes at least one body having a concave lower surface with a shape corresponding to a natural nail. The arrangement also includes an adhesive layer having a first surface and an opposing second surface. The first surface adheres to the concave lower surface of the at least one body and the second surface is provided to adhere to the natural nail when applied thereto. The arrangement further includes a removable layer that covers the second surface of the adhesive layer, and which is removable to expose the second surface of the adhesive layer for application to the natural nail. The removable layer is provided with a one or more slits so that a surface of the removable layer remains smooth after adherence of the first surface of the adhesive layer with the concave lower surface of the at least one body.
