Next, the mixture passes through a membrane filtration unit for removal of most remaining suspended solids. If toxic heavy metals are present, the mixture will pass through a heavy metal scavenger. After the foregoing treatment steps, the mixture will have less than 29 ppm suspended solids and be substantially free of lead and other heavy metals, rendering the mixture safe for surface water discharge in most cases.

  • Patent number: 11312644
Abstract: A transportable system for generating aqueous ozone solution includes a hand truck carrying one or more auxiliary compartments containing respective mixing assemblies that are fluidically coupled to an ozone supply unit. At least one mixing assembly includes a first flow path for water to flow through and a second flow path in parallel with the first flow path. The first flow path includes one or more ozone intake ports that are fluidically coupled to one or more ozone output ports of the ozone supply unit. The second flow path includes a control valve that selectively permits a portion of the water to flow through the second flow path to produce a negative pressure in the first flow path so that ozone is drawn into the first flow path and mixed into the water flowing through the first flow path to produce an aqueous ozone solution.

  • Patent number: 11197939
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for cleaning dissolution vessels and for the subsequent dosing of a dissolution media, and to mobile modular cleaning and dosing equipment for the implementation of said method. According to said method, injected water steam is used for the cleaning and is subsequently aspirated, together with the residues of the dissolution, and the vessel is then refilled with the desired quantity of a new dissolution media. The mobile modular cleaning and dosing equipment allows the cleaning and dosing to be carried out in situ without having to remove the dissolution vessels from the equipment or site where the dissolution tests are carried out, using self-sufficient modular equipment, and a novel steam supply line is used for the cleaning, which sprays the steam against the bottom of the vessel and the inner side walls.

  • Patent number: 10699894
Abstract: A valve is closed while a cleaning liquid is fed into a tubular body of a cleaning nozzle, and a piezoelectric element applies vibrations to the cleaning liquid. This causes droplets of the cleaning liquid to be produced and discharged from a plurality of discharge holes. The droplet diameter of the discharged droplets is in the range from 15 to 200 ?m, and the distribution of the droplet diameter is such that the value of where a value of 3? does not exceed 10% of the average droplet diameter. The droplet speed is in the range from 20 to 100 meters per second, and the distribution of the droplet speed is such that the value of where a value of 3? does not exceed 10% of the average droplet speed. The droplet flow rate is not less than 10 milliliters per minute. Discharging the droplets of the cleaning liquid from the cleaning nozzle toward a substrate while satisfying these discharge conditions improves cleaning efficiency without damages to the substrate.
