Abstract: A handle-scale includes a luggage-scale for calculating a weight of a piece of luggage that is built into a carry-handle having weight-release slides and/or metal hinges. Scale functionality may be enclosed within the carry-handle. The luggage-scale may have a digital readout display, such as a touch screen, that changes color once weight is calculated. The handle-scale may be movable between a first and a second vertical position with respect to the piece of luggage during use. The handle-scale may include an outer shell that protects the digital readout by withdrawing the digital readout from an exterior of the handle-scale such that when a user grips the handle, the hand of the user does not touch the digital readout. The handle-scale may separately display a measurement scale, and whole and partial units of the calculated weight. The handle-scale may have an undulating outer exterior to facilitate gripping and manually lifting.

Abstract: A light-weighted luggage includes a flexible fabric outer bag having a front panel, a back panel, a top panel, a bottom panel, two opposing side panels, a first reinforced carrying handle located on the top panel and a second reinforced carrying handle located on one side panel, a hard plastic bottom frame plate attached to the inner surface of the bottom panel of the outer bag, a hard plastic back frame plate attached to the inner surface of the back panel of the outer bag and connected to the bottom frame plate and having a plurality of openings, wheel assemblies provided at the bottom side of the bottom panel of the outer bag, and a handle assembly joined to the back panel of the outer bag. Thus, the light-weighted luggage has the characteristics of simple structural design, high structural strength, light weight and low manufacturing cost.

Abstract: An exemplary system configured convert from a luggage back to a standing clothing rack and back. First, the lids rotate 180 degrees along the top edge of the base from a closed position to extend the height of the rack. While configured as a rack, the system is supported on each side by a support structure which also extends from the base. The luggage bag may be double sided, such that both sides mirror each other, and fasten to the handle, base, or upright lids. One or more hanger bars may either swing out from, or be fastened to, the upright lids, to support hanging garments. The hanger bars may also be configured to keep hanging garments evenly spaced by equally spaced grooves along the top edge of the hanger bar. The system may later be converted back into a luggage bag.

Abstract: A storage container includes deflectable walls secured to each other and a bottom wall to form an interior. At least one of the walls defines an access cover at least partially detachable from adjacent walls to form an opening into the interior. Each of the walls includes an outer layer of a flexible ballistic material, and an inner layer of an insulation material. A first strap extends about a perimeter of the storage container including at least the access cover and the bottom wall. A second strap secures the storage container to a vehicle. The second strap connected to at least one of the walls. A flap is connected to one of the walls and is positioned over the access cover by rotation about an arc of rotation which is orthogonal to an arc of rotation of the access cover. The flap is secured using a third strap.

Abstract: Lightweight reinforced modular tubes of extruded plastic material are provided for the first stage of a trolley-type carry case, in combination with a locking mechanism, which facilitates effective extension and collapse of a multi-telescopic handle system. The tubes are made of extruded plastic material and include a pair of opposed metal strips having appropriately spaced and dimensioned apertures for reception of spring loaded locking pins of the telescopic system. The metal strips are respectively retained in position by a pair of radially extending elongated flange members which overlap marginal positions of the strips. The tubes and the metal strips can easily and quickly be cut to size to fit any size carry case. While the metal insert strips are preferably made of aluminum, any material stronger than the extruded plastic of the first stage tube can be used, i.e., steel, nylon, PVC, polyethylene, polycarbonate, or the like.

The luggage system may include a frame, a container connected around the frame, an axle connected to the frame and to wheels, an entertainment center attached to a container side, a seat system connected to the frame, where the seat system may include a seat extension, a backrest, a support feet, a support feet housing, and a support plate. The luggage system additionally may include an organization system positioned within the container interior.

Abstract: A hook handle assembly is disclosed to include a mount, which has a first mounting portion affixed to a golf bag and a second mounting portion with positioning grooves protruded from the first mounting portion, a handlebar pivoted to the second mounting portion of the mount and positionable in the positioning grooves of the mount, and a hook grip, which has a mounting block pivoted to one end of handlebar remote from the mount, a hook-like grip body extended from the mounting block for grasping by the user or hooking on a handrail or support, and an adjustable fastener for securing the hook grip in place after hooking of the hook-like grip body on a handrail or support.

Abstract: A beverage holder for use with luggage having a pair of upwardly extending spaced-apart rails with a handle extending therebetween includes a beverage support member, a pair of spaced-apart elongated arms, and a pair of clips. The beverage support member has an open top and a bottom with an outer wall extending therebetween to define a length. The beverage support member is configured to receive a beverage container through the open top and hold the received beverage container along at least a portion of the length. The arms extend upwardly away from the open top, with each arm having opposite proximal and distal ends, and with the proximal end of each arm attached to the beverage support member. Each clip is at the distal end of each respective arm.

Multiple embodiments provide options for easily storing items such as a mouse, power cord, memory stick, documents or notebook, pens, highlighters, and business cards. Further multiple embodiments optionally provide a handle, a shoulder strap, or both. The cover is also applicable to a tablet computer.

The handle includes a handgrip and a garment hanger portion. The garment hanger portion includes includes a plurality of arms coupled to the handgrip and angled downwardly relative to the handgrip. The arms are of a suitable shape and configuration so as to receive a garment for hanging. Further, the garment hanger portion can be collapsible so as to minimize a size thereof for stowage of the handle and the garment hanger portion in a compartment formed in the luggage.

Abstract: A suitcase includes a case body having a housing and a protective cover covering the housing of the case body. The protective cover has a plurality of air cushions abutting the housing. Thus, the protective cover entirely covers the housing to protect the housing so as to prevent the housing from being scratched, worn or broken due to hit or collision by a foreign object. In addition, the air cushions are located between the protective cover and the housing so that when the protective cover is subjected to an external force, the air cushions of the protective cover provide an elastic buffering effect to the housing of the case body so as to protect the housing of the case body.

Abstract: A luggage carrier for transporting a plurality of beverage bottles, including a substantially rectangular-shaped housing including a bottom panel, a top panel, a front panel, a back panel, a right panel and a left panel that define an interior hollow compartment having an interior length, width and height. The luggage carrier further includes a pre-formed bottle shipping container having an exterior length, width and height substantially equal to the interior length, width and height of the interior hollow compartment. The pre-formed bottle shipping container is positioned within the interior hollow compartment. The pre-formed bottle shipping container contains a plurality of cavities each configured and dimensioned to accept a beverage bottle. A method of transporting a plurality of beverage bottles is also disclosed.

Abstract: A trunk able to fix articles in position includes a trunk body and a cover connected together and respectively provided with an air bag in an interior. The trunk body has one outer side formed with an accommodating groove installed therein with an inflation apparatus provided with an inflating pipe communicating with the air bags. In using, the air inflation apparatus is taken out of the accommodating grove and then pressed or trodden for pumping air into the air bags through the inflation pipe to let the soft air bags expand and fill up the space in the trunk body. Thus, the inflated air bags can function to press and restrictedly position the articles stably in the trunk and also protect the articles in the trunk from being moved, bumped with each other and damaged.

The gripping occurs at a perimetric portion having a predefined shape that is common to all of the trays. Each tray comprises at least one seat having variable dimensions at its central portion for accommodating half-shells of various formats.

The foot stand assembly is mounted on the rear of the container and has a foot stand and a telescopic strut. Therefore, when the traveling case is loaded, a carrier is not required to stabilize the traveling case in order to avoid the traveling case toppling. Therefore, the traveling case is convenient.

The removably attachable work surface rests on the top of the suitcase. Side sections of the work surface unfold to form a bigger seat or work surface.

Abstract: The retracting luggage work station is a rolling suitcase with a retractable shelf that extends out from the top of the suitcase and provides support for a portable laptop computer or food or beverage items while waiting at an airport or other transportation terminal. The control unit is coupled with the weight sensing unit for receiving the weight signal and outputting a control signal according to the weight signal. Abstract: Luggage cases of the soft-side construction are perceived to be lighter than hard-side cases. However, many rigidifying elements in soft-side cases tend to add to the weight of a soft-side luggage case. This reduces its weight advantage over molded shell luggage cases. Using a textile body in the luggage case to form both the grip of a carry handle and a portion of the outer surface of the luggage helps reduce the weight of the luggage. The textile body may be attached to a thin resilient wire hoop to resist distortion of the luggage case when is it lifted by the handle. This construction saves weight in comparison to conventional luggage case constructions.

The hidden roller units and the retractable belt unit are placed inside the roller housing trench and the belt housing trench located at the bottom of the hardshell zipper case main body. When the hidden roller units are not in use, the roller units are entirely hidden inside the roller housing trench so that the roller unit will not be damaged due to careless handling. To move the hardshell zipper case, the outer rim of the roller units are exposed outside of the surface of the roller housing trench so that the roller units can roll along when moved. The belt of retractable belt unit can be easily pulled out from one end of the bottom of the hardshell zipper case.

A handle is coupled to the at least one arm and a button is disposed on the handle. When the button is depressed, the handle can be moved from the retracted position to an extended position. Abstract: A luggage bag (1) comprising opposed top (2) and bottom (3) ends with opposing front (5) and back (4) panels extending therebetween and roller means (8) provided only on the bottom (3) end, proximate to the back panel (4). The roller means (8) having a single axis of rotation which is parallel to the leading edge of the back panel, and at least one substantially rigid retractable towing pole (11) which is moveable between a retracted position in which it is retracted into the bag so as to lie proximate and substantially parallel to one side of the bag, and an extended position in which it extends from the top end of the bag. The towing pole (11) having a handle (11a) proximate to its end which, in the extended position, is remote from the bag, said handle (11a) being offset from the centreline of the back panel (4).
