In one embodiment, a belt is provided for circumferential attachment about a segment of a body and at least one loop detachably coupled to the belt and freely moveable along a portion of the belt defining a circumference, the loop to receive and hold a post surgical drainage device.

Abstract: A combined work-belt with detachable pouches for holding small tools and supplies, and an organizing pouch storage unit. The work-belt is made from strong, flexible material and includes a plurality of apertures with grommets extending along its length. Each of the pouches has two heavy duty metal hooks for supporting the pouch on two of the apertures. The organizing pouch storage unit also contains a plurality of apertures for accepting the hooks of the pouches. Each of the pouches has a storage location on the unit with indicia provided to indicate the contents of the pouch normally stored at that location. The pouches are provided in various shapes and sizes for holding hardware, tools or supplies and include two apertures along their bottom edge, for consecutively attaching another pouch to the bottom of the first pouch. This consecutive attachment can be repeated several times such that a plurality of pouches is suspended from a single pouch location on either the storage unit or the work-belt.

Abstract: A painter's utility belt is comprised of an elongated sash with a widened middle portion embedded with lumbar support inserts. The ends of the sash are releasably attached by a buckle on an adjustable strap. A strip of reinforcing webbing is attached longitudinally on the sash. Loops are formed along the webbing for holding tools, such as a scraper and screwdrivers. A pocket is centered on the sash for holding a sanding block. A pair of vertical loops closed with buckles are attached near the ends of the sash for holding caulking guns, tape, or paint cans. A pair of D-rings are attached to the webbing near the opposite ends for holding a hammer, a rag, etc. A pair of combination pockets are releasably attached to the sash in positions corresponding to the hip positions on the user. The combination pockets are each comprised of a paint pocket lined with a liquid resistant material for holding paint, and a plurality of tool pockets for holding tools.

Abstract: A modular carrier assembly is disclosed which is adapted for use in playing the sport of paintball. The assembly includes a belt portion and a pack portion that are readily attachable and detachable to each other. The belt portion has a pack fastener adapted to mate with a belt fastener disposed on the pack; flaps on either the belt or the pack are inserted through straps on the other of the belt or the pack and secured to the belt. This configuration provides lumbar support to the user, enables the carrying of heavy weight, and allows for adjustments in the packs that can be carried.

Abstract: A wearable carrier including a band that can be worn on the body of a user, and a pouch member detachably connected to the band. The pouch member includes at least one storage compartment for storing personal items of the user. The wearable carrier can be made in different sizes so that it can be attached to different parts of a user's body. This allows the wearable carrier to double, for example, as a hair-holding device or sweat band.

Abstract: A multi-use belt that is designed to be used during sporting activities as well as in social environments. A carrying element and a ball holder may be attached to the belt. The carrying element is adapted to hold instruments for use in a sporting activity. The instruments are held horizontally so that sharp edges do not poke or irritate the user. The ball holder comprises at least one elastic ring that is formed from a helical spring. The carrying element and the ball holder hold objects close to the user's center of mass and the objects are firmly held so that there is little or no relative motion between the objects and the user.

Abstract: A multi-purpose utility belt includes an elongated planar strap having first and second ends with an attachment means adjacent each end thereof for securing the strap about a user's abdomen. Depending from the lower edge of the strap is a panel having a hook-and-loop fastener adjacent each of its four peripheral edges. A wiping cloth having similarly disposed hook-and-loop fasteners on a side thereof is removably attachable to the panel. A plurality of tool holding pockets are removably attached to the exterior surface of the strap allowing a user to selectively configure the belt. Each pocket is designed to retain a select tool such as a paint brush, a caulking gun and similar items.

Abstract: The belt includes a yieldable flat foam core tapering inwardly from narrow attachment ends outwardly to a wider portion which is positioned adjacent a wearer's back. The foam core serves to provide a measure of back support for the wearer while preventing abrasion of the wearer's hip bones due to the weight of objects suspended from the belt. The narrower portions of the belt which are positioned adjacent the wearer's abdomen provide additional comfort by preventing restriction of movement due to the belt in bending situations. The foam core is covered entirely with a fitted fabric cover for appearance and durability of the foam core. In addition, the fabric cover is trimmed with an abrasion resistant material such as nylon to prevent wear of the fabric cover. The fabric-covered foam core is secured to a strip of webbing material, typically by longitudinal and transverse stitching. The utility belt includes an infinitely adjustable attachment means affixed to the webbing material.

Abstract: A unibody, combination grip plate and appendage fastening means constructed in such a manner so as to be received at the frame of a handgun. The unibody grip plate and appendage fastening means is affixed to the handle of a handgun; the appendage fastening means portion, which is camouflaged and concealable behind a user's wearing apparel, lifts and moves independently away from the grip plate portion permitting Total Weapon Concealment (TWC) of a handgun inside the waistband (IWB) between the user's torso and trouser, or other wearing apparel) completely below the belt line (BBL). A handgun that is equipped with the principal object can be placed IWB in a comfortable and secure fashion. The appendage fastening means facilitates TWC of a handgun BBL, yet the principal object allows a person who is covertly carrying a handgun fingertip access and immediate use.

Abstract: A system for carrying containers suspended from a track member which may be attached to a body encircling belt or attached to clothing which includes a pair of protruding tracks substantially parallel and from which the containers for holding articles are suspended by clips on the containers which are attachable to the tracks anywhere along the lengths thereof or positionable lengthwise on the tracks by sliding thereon at tapered ends of the tracks and is particularly useful for police and military personnel in carrying weapons, ammunition and the like holstered articles. This system includes a clamp for locking the container in place on the tracks to prevent the container from sliding along the tracks to an undesired position and inhibiting forceful unintended removal of the clip and container from the tracks without removal of the clamp.

Abstract: A waist pack combined with a bicycle locking device. The belt of the waist pack is removable from the waist pack when not being worn and threads through the spokes of a bicycle as a lock. The combination provides for a useful means of carrying the bicycle lock on the person while bicycling. The bicycle lock is convenient to stow and provides a bicycle lock that does not damage the bicycle as it is being carried and while not in use.

Abstract: A three in one belt pack having in combination a conventional pack, a cushion-flap, and a belt. The cushion-flap selectively attaches via hook and loop fasteners to the belt on the inside of the pack, if the pack is being worn. When attached to the belt inside the pack the cushion-flap can be rolled up and placed inside the pack for storage. The user has the option of using a cushion-flap having a humorous design, school logo or message thereupon. When used in protection or display mode, the cushion-flap functions as a seat comfortable, waterproof cushion, a walking display and as a protective barrier shielding the user's clothing from becoming soiled due to filthy chairs or benches. The cushion-flap is made of a double sided nylon neoprene material, preferably, is waterproof and thermal. The pack is detachable from the belt and has an assortment of compartments dimensioned and configured to contain various items.

The carrying element (3) has pockets for receiving a pitch mark remover (34) and two tees (37) and is fastened by means of a Velcro fastener (16, 38) to the belt (1). The ball holder (2) has two elastic rings (21), which are connected to each other by strips (23, 24). The carrying device enables easy carrying of the necessary golf utensils without interferring with the swing motion and without disturbing the concentration of the player.

Abstract: A load carrying system comprising a pack frame and a waist-encircling belt. he pack frame is adapted for fastening around the body of a wearer and includes a top end, a bottom end and a male formation extending substantially downward from the frame bottom end. The male formation has an engagement portion. The waist-encircling belt has a wearer facing side, an exterior side, a pair of ends and a complementary pair of fasteners. Each fastener is attached to a respective end of the belt. The belt further includes a receptacle attached to the exterior side of the belt and located substantially midway between the belt ends. The receptacle has an opening and is sized for receiving the male formation. The load-carrying system further includes at least one interfering member attached to the receptacle and positioned within the receptacle opening. The interfering member is adapted for engaging the engagement portion of the male formation.

Abstract: A pad for frictionally supporting an automotive transparency carried by an individual has bead or ridges made of friction material and is detachably secured to the belt of the individual extending over a portion of the individual's thigh. The windshield is urged against the friction material to assist in maintaining the windshield above the floor as it is moved. The pad has loop portion of a hook and loop securing arrangement e.g. of the type sold under the trademark Velcro, with the hook portion secured to the belt. In this manner the pad is quickly and easily secured in position to the belt extending over the thigh portion. Tool carrying pouches and/or equipment each having the loop portion of the hook and loop arrangement mounted thereon for ease of securing them to the belt.

Abstract: A modular apparatus for storage and transport of goods, primarily for use as a backpack. A first container for holding goods is provided with a first cooperating engagement portion, and a base is provided with a second cooperating engagement portion; the first and second portions cooperate to provide meshing engagement to detachably connect the first container the base. A stop is included in at least one of the first or said second cooperating engagement portions to limit the downward travel of the first container relative to the base. Further containers can be added, where each of the further containers includes cooperating engagement portion for meshing engagement with a complementary cooperating engagement portion of the already mounted containers. Preferably, the first cooperative engagement portion is a T-shaped slot formed from a pair of complementary, mirror image L-shaped members, and the second cooperative engagement portion is a T-shaped bracket of size and shape complementary to the T-shaped slot.

Abstract: A strap system for carrying shoes when a skater is skating and skates when the skater is walking. The strap system comprises a first strap, having a first end and a second end and a first connecting mechanism for connecting the first and second ends of the first strap, which when connected create a first closed loop. A second strap is attached to the first strap by an attachment mechanism, the second strap comprising a first end and a second end and a second connecting mechanism for connecting the first and second ends of the second strap, which when connected create a second loop. The strap system is utilized wherein during use of the strap system, the first loop is situated around the user's waist or slung over the user's shoulder and the second loop secures the foot apparel.

Abstract: A novel belt pack system includes a pack having an adjustable length belt attached thereto. An adjustable length, three-point stabilizer strap arrangement is connected to each side of the pack and belt. A water bottle and its associated carrier, a carrier for carrying items such as a cassette tape player or the like and/or a fold-up bag can be attached to the belt. The belt has a fastener material, such as known hook and loop material or other means such as snaps and the like, on a surface thereof. The pack has a first, main compartment which is large enough to hold a pair of shoes and a smaller compartment which is separated from the main compartment for carrying keys, a shirt, etc. When worn, the belt extends around the waist of a wearer and the pack abuts the wearer's small of the back. The pack may include an outer compartment formed of a mesh material which is separated from the interior compartments by an outer wall of the pack.
