Abstract: A gadget holding device for releasably holding a cell phone, an ipod or other similar gadget on a users clothing, belt or purse. The gadget holding device preferably comprising a clip, a D-ring, and a hanging interlock clasp, wherein the D-ring connects the clip to the hanging interlock clasp that permits the D-ring to rotate relative to the clip and the hanging interlock clasp to rotate and slide relative to D-ring. This configuration releasably holds a gadget and enables easy one-handed release from the gadget holding device. In this way, the gadget-holding device is a sleek, flat, lightweight, fashionable and ultimately inconspicuous way to carry a cell phone, music player or any other gadget on a person comfortably.

An arm is also included having a projection disposable within the opening and a recess. The arm is rotatable about the base. Abstract: A paddle holder is provided for a watersport article. The paddle holder includes a clothing element, an anchor, and a lanyard. The clothing element is configured to be integrated into a watersport article along a lateral location of a user elevationally between a supra-patellar region and an abdominal region. The anchor is affixed to the clothing element. The lanyard has a retention device and an adapter. The adapter is configured to affix to the anchor on the clothing element. The retention device is configured to mate and demate with a handle of a paddle to retain the paddle to the clothing element. A method is also provided for retaining a paddle with a watersport article.

Abstract: The support for cooling a container is a portable holder for a container of chewing tobacco that can be releasably attached to a vehicle air conditioner vent. The support includes a substantially circular front wall having at least one front rib formed on an inner face thereof. A semi-cylindrical sidewall extends peripherally from the inner face of the front wall, and at least one side rib is formed on an inner face thereof. A rear strap or wall extends across the sidewall, forming a pocket for holding the container. The rear wall is adapted for releasable attachment to the vent. In use, the at least one front rib and the at least one side rib space the container apart from the respective inner faces of the front wall and the sidewall to permit cool air to circulate around the container.

Abstract: A protective case or mounting device for a portable digital media device includes a first and a second snap fit cavity adapted to receive and selectively retain a first and a second protrusion element, respectively, associated with any of various accessory mounting or position retention elements. Connection between respective protrusions and snap fit cavities is made by depressible insertion. A portable digital media device may thus be removably engaged to various positioning elements without requiring the device to be removed from a protective case.

Abstract: My invention, Pac-a-poo, is a unisex bag that temporarily holds dog-waste in a secure sanitary place; it provides a dispenser compartment for disposable waste bags, it has extra outer storage for accessories such as gloves, a flashlight, tissues, a cell phone and any other accessories.

Abstract: A dual function clip device for an electronic device having a screen has a body for receiving the electronic device, a clip mechanism with an arm movable relative to the body, and a viewing position support mechanism. The arm is pivotally movable about an axis in a first longitudinal position. The arm and its pivot axis is also movable longitudinally along a longitudinal axis of the device to at least one second longitudinal position where it may pivot open about the pivot axis. When the arm is open in the second longitudinal and open pivoted position, the clip device may be positioned to engage an upwardly facing flat surface so that the electronic device may be oriented to a viewing position to display its screen. A release lock and securement device are used for retaining the arm and for viewing position support. A method for displaying the screen is also described.

Abstract: A kit of fixation devices for cochlear implant speech processors comprising a spring loaded alligator clip including front and rear pivotally connected legs, a top portion of the front leg forming a support latch with an upper portion of one of several vertically extending cradles shaped to receive and support speech processors of different size while (i) allowing for replacement of the battery pack of the processor, (ii) protecting the control panel thereof against accidental actuation and (iii) supporting the processor cable, the front and rear legs of the alligator clip including hooks for engaging and capturing a safety pin that may have been already attached to the clothing of a user of the processor.

Abstract: A wallet having at least two surfaces defining an internal compartment, a zipper movably connecting one of the at least two surfaces to another of the at least two surfaces, the zipper being movable between a first position and a second position such that, when the zipper is in the first position, the wallet will be closed and will hang, and when the zipper is in the second position, the wallet will be open and the zipper will be in a position rotated by an angular amount from its hanging position such that the zipper will be in a substantially horizontal position.

Abstract: The present invention may be used for retaining a laptop computer on a generally horizontal member of a structure. One or more hooks may each have an arm rotatably attached at a first end to a screen housing opposite a screen of a laptop computer. The hooks may have a first projecting member attached approximately orthogonal to the arm at a second end.

Abstract: A coupling member for removably attaching an accessory to a carrier, wherein the coupling member includes an elongate portion of material having a first end portion, an intermediate portion, and a second end portion. At least one hook is formed from a portion of the first end portion, wherein the hook formed from the first end portion allows the first end portion of the coupling member to be removably secured to an accessory webbing or a carrier webbing when the coupling member has been interwoven between aligned carrier tunnel segments and accessory tunnel segments of an accessory and carrier. The coupling member may optionally include a hook formed from a portion of the second end portion.

Abstract: A belt clip apparatus is provided that attaches to a case for a portable electronic device (e.g., a music player, video player, cell phone, etc.) that both swivels and pivots on two different axes. Such a clip can attach to an article of clothing and allow the user to view the screen and access the controls of an electronic device without having to first remove the device from the article of clothing. In one embodiment, the apparatus can stand on a flat surface in either an angled portrait or landscape orientation when attached to the case, thereby allowing the user to choose the optimal orientation for accessing the controls or viewing a screen on a portable device mounted within the attached case. The angle formed between the case and the belt clip can be varied so that the user can optimize the viewing angle of the attached portable electronic device.

Abstract: A case for a portable electronic device such as cell phones, cameras, MP3 players and PDAs wherein said case includes material at the corners to provide protection to the electronic device. To reduce bulk at the corners and allow the material forming the case to conform with the contours of the device, the protection at the corners includes strips of material defining apertures there between. The apertures provide reduction in bulk and allow the case to conform to the corners of the device therein. Alternately, the protection at the corners can be provided by other structures co-molded into the corners of the cases. Such structures include material that is of a reduced thickness than other material used in the case, or structures that are formed to conform to the corners of the case. Such structures can be joined to the material forming the panels of the case by co-molding.

Abstract: A pocket clip is attached at a first end to a tool such as a folding knife. A roller assembly is provided at a second end of the clip with a portion extending toward the tool. The roller assembly includes a ratchet wheel between a pair of elastomeric roller wheels. A pawl engages the ratchet wheel and limits rotation of the roller assembly such that the assembly rotates in one direction around an axis transverse to a longitudinal axis of the tool, and resists rotation in an opposite direction. When the tool is positioned in a user's pocket, a panel of the pocket engages the roller assembly, which rotates substantially freely, permitting the pocket panel to slide easily between the pocket clip and the surface of the tool. However, the roller assembly resists movement of the pocket panel in the opposite direction, holding the tool securely in the pocket.

Abstract: A bag is provided for storing cellular phones, cash, business cards, and credit cards. The bag comprises a receptacle and a hook. The receptacle may have a closed bottom, a top, and a plurality of side walls integrally attached to and surrounding the periphery of the bottom. The hook operably may be configured to connect the receptacle. In addition, the hook may be configured to connect to belt loops of a user.

Abstract: The belt or strap clip includes a main body and a clip arm. The main body is adapted to retain, via a button mount, a cellular telephone or other personal electronic device. A plastic leaf spring has a fore end mounted to the main body, a curvaceous mid-section and an elongated leg member. The leg has a proximal pivot member and the distal leg region is disposed in a capture channel in the clip arm. A complementary pivot member in the clip arm coacts with the proximal pivot member such that when the main body pivots with respect to the clip arm, the elongated leg member bows. The method includes capturing the distal end of the spring into the clip arm and permitting the elongated leg to bow inboard during the pivot between the clip body and the clip arm.

Abstract: A belt clamp with a pivotal article carrier attached thereto includes a base and a cover hinged together at the top. The cover includes a passageway at the lower end to accept a barb-like fastener integral with lower end of base to lock clamp closed. A tongue projects inwardly from the cover to contact and inhibit movement of a duty belt inside the clamp. The base includes a pair of intersecting arcuate slots and a reversible insert having one arcuate slot to make the clamp usable by either right- or left-handed users. A movable belt width adjustment bar is mounted inside the clamp to accommodate belts of various widths. Bosses around the lower opening of the cover inhibit twisting of locked clamp to prevent inadvertent opening. A locking plate is provided to inhibit rotation of fasteners used in pivotal mounting of an article carrier to the belt clamp.

Abstract: A clip structure for a USB wireless transmission device includes a housing, a flexible clip, a guide ramp, and a positioning wall. The flexible clip is pivotally disposed on the housing and is provided, on a surface thereof, with the guide ramp and the positioning wall. When the flexible clip is pivoted to a clipping position, the positioning protrusion of the housing happens to fall between the guide ramp and the positioning wall, and that the positioning wall restrains the positioning protrusion therein and prevents the flexible clip from pivoting and escaping from the clipping position. Therefore, a flexible object, to be clipped, is clipped in several folds so as to obtain a desirable clipping and securing effect.

Abstract: The invention includes a belt clip for mounting objects to a user's belt. The belt clip has a resilient U-shaped member portion and a hollow hanger member. The resilient U-shaped member portion having an upper end and a lower end with a U-bend portion at the upper end and parallel inner and outer walls extending downwardly from the U-bend. A gap is defined between the inner and outer walls for slidably engaging a belt. The hollow hanger member portion protrudes outwardly from the outer wall of the U-shaped member portion and has a generally downwardly facing wall with an aperture extending therethrough. The aperture provides a means for mounting objects to the belt.

Abstract: A roping belt for a safety harness comprising an equipment-carrying device having at least one U-shaped attachment loop securedly fastened to the belt by fixing means and composed of a joining part made of flexible textile material and of a pre-formed stiffener part made of semi-rigid plastic. The joining part and the stiffener part are inserted in one another and are housed at least one of the ends thereof in a securing gusset fixed to the belt to form a non-articulated join biasing the equipment-carrying device to a salient position.

Abstract: A moveable clip device for hanging a towel on a golf bag that includes an S-shaped clip member having a first strip portion engageable with an inner surface of an open end of the golf bag, a second strip portion engageable with an outer surface of the open end of such golf bag, and a third strip portion. A first connecting strip portion, engageable with an edge of the open end of such golf bag, connects the first and second strip portions. A second connecting strip portion connects the second and third strip portions. A flange portion having a channel formed between first and second wall portions is connected to the third strip portion. A support member is connected to each of the wall portions for supporting the towel on the clip. A mechanism is engageable with the towel and support member for connecting such towel to the clip.

Abstract: A cigarette dispenser including a box for holding a number of cigarettes. The box has an open bottom that defines a discharge opening for cigarettes held within the box. A U-shaped cradle is affixed to the box adjacent the discharge opening for catching cigarettes as such pass from the discharge opening. A mounting clip is affixed to the box for releasably securing the box to a support.

Abstract: A hands-free bag carrying device includes a belt element adapted to be worn around a waist of a user; and at least one hook assembly, affixed to the belt element, and having at least one hook element. A hook element is adapted to securely hold a handle of a bag having a particular weight, such that the at least one hook element, the at least one hook assembly, and the belt element cooperatively transfer the weight of the bag to the waist of the user. The device can optionally include a plurality of hook assemblies, which can include one or a plurality of hook elements. Optionally, the at least one hook assembly can be movably affixed to the belt element.

Abstract: A disk holder includes a back panel and a cover. The back panel defines a disk holder portion having a generally circular shape and a holder support portion. The cover is connected to the back panel and disposed over the disk holder portion such that a pocket is defined between the back panel and the cover. The pocket is adapted to retain at least one disk-shaped object. A connection device is connected to the holder support portion and adapted to affix the disk holder to a person.

Abstract: Presented is a belt attachment on which may be mounted accessories that would normally be mounted in the waist belt. These can include hand cuffs, hand tools, radio, handgun holster, taser, meters, flashlights, and other items. The belt attachment has a passage for the waist belt, and a passage for attachment of the accessories, with the two passages perpendicular to each other. The belt attachment aids in minimizing wear of a user's shirt by moving belt mounted accessories away from the user's belt.

Abstract: A concealable handgun holster is disclosed with a handgun encasement supported within clothing of a wearer by one or more attachment clips, the attachment clips being hidden “in plain sight” by decorative features that deceive an observer into thinking the clips are decorations rather than part of a holster. In preferred embodiments, the holster is a hybrid holster with a handgun encasement formed by a leather sheet attached to a rigid plastic cover, preferably made of Kydex®. The clips can be plastic or metal, preferably steel, and can be attached to the encasement by rivets, screws, or any other suitable fastening means known in the art. Decoration of the attachment clips can be by shaping of the clips, perforation of the clips with decorative shapes, engraving on the clips, printing on the clips, and/or attachment of decorative items to the clips.

The handle portion includes a top adapted to removably receive a ball mark. The handle includes a top side that defines a longitudinally aligned, generally U-shaped structure disposed at the handle distal end thereof approximately mid-length on the device that serves multiple functions, such as a thumb-rest, cigar holder, and club grip holder. In a corresponding position on the bottom side of the device a contoured surface runs in a transverse direction thereby providing a comfortable support for the user's index finger.

Abstract: The application relates to a belt-mountable holster for holding a power tool, such as a screw gun or drill. The holster comprises a belt mount and a tool clip which may be releasably and securely coupled together. The belt mount is securely mountable on the user's belt. The tool clip is configured to securely engage an outer portion of the body of the power tool. In one embodiment, the tool clip includes a tongue which is releasably insertable within a slot formed in the belt mount to securely couple the first and second frame elements together. The holster may be used for conveniently stowing a power tool on the waist of a user when the tool is not in use. When the power tool is withdrawn from the holster for use, the tool clip remains coupled to the tool and does not obstruct or impede its normal operation.

Abstract: A retainer for securing a hand-held electronic or optical device is made of a soft, pliable elastomeric material so that inserting and removing the device is accomplished without significant sound so as not to startle wildlife which may be in the vicinity. The retainer has a pair of flexible retention fingers on either side of a slot that receives a retention post affixed to the hand-held device to secure it in the retainer. The retainer has a toothed grip clip which can swivel between a teeth up and a teeth down position and has a toggle mechanism which ensures engagement of the teeth with an article of the user's clothing.

Such a holder is formed from rigid and durable material such that the holder maintains a fixed shape during operating conditions. The holder includes a deformably resilient and cushioned material statically affixed to an inner surface of a selected curved portion of the holder. The support apparatus further includes an audible signaling device attached to the shock cord and a mechanism for adjustably attaching the apparatus about a user neck during operating conditions.

Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for detachably securing cans for use in plumbing, painting, construction, and home improvement. The devices are configured for mounting a structure such as a ladder, scaffold, bench, tool box, saw horse, table, railing, pipe, wood, lumber, metal, or plastic support or other object and further configured for detachably securing cans, such as cans containing PVC glue or primer for a plumber's use. In one device, the securing members have two arms configured to be arranged in an open state for receiving the can with substantially zero insertion force. In that device, the arms have end portions with latching members configured to join together in a first engagement position with the can. In a closed state, the latching members are in a partially overlapping configuration that pulls the arms tightly around the circumference of the can and thereby supplies a compression fit with high pull-apart strength.

This load receptor may be used with a hip worn belt having a depending hook that is received by the hook receptor and, where there is a handle receptor, with a rod-like handle that is inserted in the handle receptor.

Abstract: A golf club carrier which attaches either to a garment, or to a belt, worn by the golfer. The device secures a limited number of clubs, typically 3-4 near the waist of the golfer. The attachment means is rotatably attached to the golf club carrier such that when the golfer kneels down to retrieve a ball, or prepare for the next shot, the golf clubs will pivot backwards such that the club handles do not come in contact with the ground.

Abstract: A tool hanging device attached to the belt of a person. The hanging device is constructed of a unitary piece of wire. The wire is bent in such a manner that a forward and horizontal U-shaped loop is created. Legs of the U-shape are further bent upwardly to create upstanding legs of the U-shape. The upstanding legs are further bent over themselves to form loops. The loops are slip behind a belt of a user and then downwardly so that the loops attach themselves to the belt. The forward and horizontal U-shape is used to hang a hammer thereon and other tools.

Abstract: A personal communications device case belt connection system incorporates a thin plate having an aperture with a periphery and a peripheral channel. A wafer sized to be received in the aperture, engages the peripheral channel and periphery of the aperture to be secured in the plate. The wafer incorporates a connection, to a belt clip. The aperture in the plate and the wafer are hexahedral having two obtuse angled surfaces for self alignment. The wafer incorporates a peripheral groove engaging at least a portion of the periphery of the aperture and the plate further includes a resilient flap extending from a top of the aperture to engage the peripheral groove of the wafer to secure the wafer in the aperture. A belt clip incorporating a semicircular channel receives a disk sized to be received in the semicircular channel and attached to a front surface of the wafer. Alternatively, the wafer is attached by a spring to a belt clip scissor.

Abstract: A retracting tether apparatus is disclosed comprising a retractor housing having a locking post on its outside surface. The apparatus also includes an attachment mechanism, such as a belt clip, for attaching to a body and a retaining section, the attachment mechanism being integral to the retaining section. The retaining section has a retaining section hole sized to mate with the locking post and the locking post has a mechanism for holding the post in the retaining section hole. The inside surface of the retaining section hole rides on an outside surface of the locking post to provide for smooth rotation of the retractor housing in relation to the retaining section.

Abstract: A lockable holster includes a shroud having an elongated opening to receive a handgun with the grip of the handgun outside the shroud. A biasing member at the first end of the shroud applies a biasing force on the firing end of the handgun to bias opposite end of the handgun into engagement with the locking arrangement at the opposite second end of the shroud to secure the handgun in the shroud. In another non-limiting embodiment of the invention, the holster is mounted on a plate having fasteners passing through elongated slits into the top of the shroud to angle the shroud relative to the plate, and the plate is mounted for vertical adjustment on a U-shaped securing clamp. The holster further includes mechanical arrangements which prevent unauthorized removal of the handgun from the shroud, prevents firing the handgun when in the shroud, and signals a loaded handgun in the shroud.

Abstract: A driver bit container comprises: a main body, a clip and two containing caps. In the center of main body sets a longitudinal cavity for containing bit holders and there are two symmetrical containers on both sides of the longitudinal cavity with each of them divided longitudinally into two parts: a row of containing slots and an elongated concave. The clip is mounted on the backside of, and can rotate against the main body. Each of the containing caps has a row of side containing slots and a side elongated concave to cooperate with the said elongated concave and said containing slots respectively. Therefore, the invention has features of capability of containing more bits and easy to use.
