Abstract: A bit-carrying device includes an axle and a plurality of sleeves each including a longitudinal through-hole mounted around an outer periphery of the axle. Each sleeve includes at least one coupling portion on an outer circumference thereof for coupling with a bit. A handle is mounted to an upper end of the axle for easy carriage. The longitudinal through-hole of each sleeve includes an inner periphery in frictional contact with the outer periphery of the axle to prevent relative rotation therebetween. Each sleeve can be forcibly turned relative to the axle to a desired position.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing a worker with a means for keeping tools close at hand while working. The apparatus comprises a holster member having a predetermined shape and formed of a predetermined material and engageable with a user's belt or a user's waistband. Such holster member includes a back portion having on of a pair of slots formed therein for engagement with such user's belt and a clip member attached to such back portion for engagement with such user's belt or waistband. A pocket member is affixed to the back portion for holding at least one tool. A ring member is engageable with one of the back portion and the pocket member for holding a hammer, such ring member being disposed at a predetermined angle from one of the back portion and the pocket member.

The frame has a tubular portion for removably receiving a handle portion of the spackling item to thereby hold the spackling item so that when the frame is removably attached to the belt of the user, the user is allowed to keep the spackling item on the user's person during a spackling operation without interference with the user's body.

Abstract: An improved transportable paper towel dispenser intended to be worn on the person of the user for the purpose of having a constant access to a roll of paper towels when cleaning. The transport assembly supports an adjustable tension mechanism and a dowel system bearing a roll of paper towels. The transport assembly, tension mechanism and dowel system are interconnected by pulley systems that control the pressure exerted upon the roll of paper towels, thus providing controlled dispensing of the entire roll of paper towels and to retard unraveling. And further adjusting to raise or lower the angle of the paper towel roll.

Abstract: A liftable tool box for a waist belt includes an upper cover and a bottom box. The liftable tool box worn on the waist belt using an elastic hook can be directly opened so that tools may be taken out of or inserted into the tool box. The bottom box may be opened to a horizontal state perpendicular to the upper cover so that the tools in the bottom box may be conveniently accessed. Thus, the tool box can be conveniently carried on the waist belt while the tools in the tool box can be arbitrarily accessed.

Abstract: A carrying case apparatus has a first pocket for carrying an object, a flap, and an elastic strap. The first pocket has an open top. The flap is configured to cover the open top of the first pocket. The elastic strap has a first and second end. The first end is attached to the top of the outer portion of the flap and the second end is attached to the outer portion of the first pocket, such that the elastic strap remains taut against the first pocket and flap, and may be pulled by a user in order to create space for inserting an item. The item is held between the first pocket and flap combination and the elastic strap.

When folded, the upper cover closed the housing space. The stepometer is located on the upper cover. The housing case also includes a connection element on the back so that the user can fasten the housing case on the waist. The present invention provides the user with a housing case for housing a portable item as well as a stepometer to keep track of own walking activity.

At least one flexible member is fixedly attached to the areas where the flexible strap and belt loop overlap. Connections such as rings and swivel clasps are secured at the ends of the flexible members for removable attachment of various items.

Abstract: A hunting retention system includes an elastic cord attached to each of the pair of rattling antlers and attached by a unique and novel attachment device to a user at the waist. Preferably, the restraining device takes the form of a belt, wherein an elastic cord extends on either side of the belt through eyelets externally of the belt so that the same can be attached to each end of one of the antlers of the pair of antlers. The elastic cord is looped through a metal ring lock, which is in turn attached to the antler. Proximate to the eyelet, a latch is attached to and retains the metal ring lock proximate to the user in all circumstances.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tool holder for mounting to a user's clothing article, such as a belt or pants pocket. The tool holder includes a first and second support members connected to each other and configured and dimensioned for receiving and hooking around the belt with the first and second support members disposed on opposite sides of the belt. A tool holding member is mounted to one of the support members and is configured for holding a tool. The support members are preferably of an injection-molded material. Also, the support members can be constructed as separate pieces that engage each other.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for flexing a concealed holster to secure the contents of the holster in the holster. An elongate substantially rigid elastically flexible sling is secured to a side of the holster such that the elongate member and side of the holster can be partially separated so the wearer's shirts can be inserted therebetween to conceal the holster. The lower end of the sling can be flexed outwardly away from the side of the holster such that a portion of the outer side adjacent the lower end is, when the sling is flexed outwardly to insert the wearer's shirt, flexed inwardly to compress a pistol in the storage compartment.

Abstract: A modular leg pack system is shown and described, embodiments of which include a belt or belt sleeve for wearing around the body, and preferably at the top of the hips, and preferably two thigh opposing bags. The thigh bags extend from just below the belt to above the knee. One or more top connectors attach the top of the bag to the belt, and a bottom leg strap extends from the bottom of the bag around the inside of the leg. To assist in natural movement of the bag with the leg, the preferred top connectors have a pivot point that allows the bag to pivot in a direction parallel to the motion of the leg. Additionally, it is preferred to have the top connector rotatable relative to the belt in a plane perpendicular to the outer surface of the belt, and rotatable relative to the bag in a plane perpendicular to the back plane of the bag. Openings of the bags are positioned to be easily accessible by the user, usually on the top of the bag.

Abstract: A retracting tether apparatus is disclosed comprising a retractor housing having a locking post on its outside surface. The apparatus also includes an attachment mechanism, such as a belt clip, for attaching to a body and a retaining section, the attachment mechanism being integral to the retaining section. The retaining section has a retaining section hole sized to mate with the locking post and the locking post has a mechanism for holding the post in the retaining section hole. The inside surface of the retaining section hole rides on an outside surface of the locking post to provide for smooth rotation of the retractor housing in relation to the retaining section.

A bias spring is engaged with the movable clamping jaw and enabled for inhibiting motion of the movable clamping jaw from both the open and closed jaw attitudes.

Ideally, the belt clip may be manufactured in standardized lengths to permit the use of the tool holder with belts of varying, common widths. Abstract: A body-supported paint container kit comprising a bucket that selectively attaches to the work belt worn around the waist of a painter to free the painter's hands from holding the bucket, allowing the painter to safely paint while holding onto any ladder or scaffolding. A clip member is attached to the rear wall of the bucket. The rear wall of the bucket placed against the leg is concave in the preferred embodiment and designed to conform to the outer shape of the leg. Attached to the bucket is a removable lid that enables the bucket to be closed thereby preventing paint located inside the bucket from drying out. The kit also includes a removable inner sleeve member and an exchangeable screen that fit inside the bucket. The inner sleeve includes a converging lower opening with outer edges designed to allow the tip of a paint brush to be dipped into the paint and located in the bucket and then pulled over the lower edge of the inner sleeve to facilitate removal of excess paint from the paint brush.

Abstract: A pouch assembly having a pocket member secured to the front wall of a vertically oriented rear panel assembly. The rear panel assembly has a chamber formed in its top half within which is positioned a magnet having a flat front surface. This magnet is adjacent the top end of the pouch member. The magnet functions to hold a limited number of metal fasteners or a metal tool against the front surface of the rear panel assembly where they can be easily grasped by a person wearing the pouch assembly. A vertically oriented non-collapsible rigid tubular member is secured to the front wall of the rear panel assembly inside the pouch member for removably receiving a writing instrument. A spring clip member is secured to the rear wall of the rear panel assembly for detachably securing the pouch assembly on a person's belt or in the top end of a person's pocket.

Abstract: A tether arrangement for connecting an electronic device, such as a laptop computer, to a person who is using the device, on the lap, while in a seated position. In one embodiment, a flexible cord with two ends connects on one of its ends to the electronic device and on the other of its ends to the belt loop of the user. In another embodiment, a single long tethering cord extends around the back of the user, with both ends being connected to the electronic device. Tethers may connect to the electronic device by permanent attachment, by connection terminals on the device, by elements that encircle a portion of the device, or by other means. Tethers may connect to users by clips or by other means. Tethers may also be rigid or semi-rigid, such as plastic strips or rods. Two or more tethers may be used together. Means for varying the effective length of the tethers may be present. These tether arrangements provide for multiple functions, including helping prevent the electronic device from falling off the lap.

Abstract: Disclosed is a securing device for personal pagers consisting of a plastic holster-type device that includes interchangeable securing means for attaching it to the clothes of the user. The present invention includes a conventional belt clip for attaching to belts and the like as well as a locking straight pin, either of which can be used at any one given time. The incorporation of the pin allows the user to attach the pager to virtually any article of clothing in a secure manner in a situation where the belt clip would be insufficient.

Abstract: A device and associated method for attaching an electronic device to a tether so that it cannot be stolen or inadvertently lost. The device includes a housing. Within the housing is contained a spool and a spring for rewinding the spool. A tether extends from the spool out of the housing. The tether terminates outside of the housing with a connector element. The connector element is selectively attachable to an electronic device. As the tether is wound on the spool, the connector element is drawn toward an attachment area on the housing of the device. The connector element and the attachment area are magnetically attracted. As such, when the connector element approaches the attachment area on the housing, the connector element becomes magnetically affixed to the attachment area, thereby joining the electronic device to the housing in a fixed orientation.

Abstract: A modular leg pack system is shown and described, embodiments of which include a belt or belt sleeve for wearing around the body, and preferably at the top of the hips, and preferably two thigh opposing bags. The thigh bags extend from just below the belt to above the knee. One or more top connectors attach the top of the bag to the belt, and a bottom leg strap extends from the bottom of the bag around the inside of the leg. When the tool is removed from the clamping device the it is automatically unclamped. When the tool is placed into the clamping device it is automatically clamped in place.

Abstract: A tool pouch comprises a back layer of durable sheet material, and an outer layer of compliant material and a stud plate attached to opposite sides of the back layer. The back layer has a front side, a back side, a top edge, and a lower perimeter extending from a first end of the top edge to a second end of the top edge between the front side and the back side. The outer layer of compliant material is attached to front side of the back layer around a majority of the lower perimeter of the back layer, and attached to the back layer between edges of the lower perimeter to form a plurality of pockets. Each of the plurality of pockets has an opening oriented towards the top edge of the back layer. The stud plate is attached to the back side of the back layer, the stud plate comprising a base plate and a stud fixed to the base plate, for providing a freely swiveling, removable attachment to a retainer that may be worn on a user's waistband.

In this manner, a tool hanging from the U-shaped hook will swivel about the 360° axis, thereby maintaining its center of gravity as the user moves about a construction area. The user can re-position the hook for comfort and accessibility simply by rotating the hook about its axis.
