Abstract: A compositing apparatus arranged to provide a compositing surface to be used in digital filming, recoding or photographing a subject against the compositing surface, that is easy to setup and is collapsible such that the compositing apparatus can be easily assembled by a single individual. The compositing apparatus comprises a base structure including a first and second support portion, a first and second base extension, and a hinge, wherein the first and second support portions are coupled to the respective base extension and the hinge. At least one rod is removably coupled to the base structure and received by a screen, wherein the screen is adapted to exert a force on the at least one rod causing the at least one rod to exert a force onto said hinge in order to lock the first and second support portions.

Abstract: A collapsible, flexible display system for creating different spatial shapes of a continuous screen includes at least two stands, each including a first part which support against an underlying supportive surface and a pole with a first end removably secured in the first part by a coupling. The display system also includes essentially hollow, straight members of a rigid material including end parts, and essentially hollow, bendable members of a flexible material including end parts. Each end part includes either a male part, or a female part, at least one of them of a magnetic material, and operable to magnetically fasten to each other. Straight members and bendable members are connected to form an upper part and a lower part. The display system is mounted with the upper part fastened in a number, n, of first couplings, and the lower part fastened in the number, n, of second couplings.

A monitor support is attached to the upper end. A panel is attached to the monitor support. The panel is configured to receive fasteners to hold a monitor on the panel. The panel has a bottom side facing downward and is angled between 10° and 50° with respect to a horizontal plane such that the bottom side is angled toward the vertical support.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a framework for supporting pieces of equipment or other objects, and in particular to a variable position workstation for supporting work surfaces and/or electronic equipment such as computers, video displays, keyboards and the like. The workstation structure in one embodiment generally comprises a stand having a pair of spaced apart upright supports, a lateral support extending between the upright supports and having mounting means for mounting equipment from the stand. The mounting means typically allow for the positioning of a work platform or other piece of equipment at one of a plurality of different horizontal and vertical positions on the stand, thereby providing flexibility for the user. In addition, stand can comprise at least two foldable feet for maintaining the workstation in an upright position. The feet may be folded when the workstation is not in use to reduce the overall footprint of the workstation.

Abstract: A portable support mount designed for attachment to a shooting rail or other surface in order to support a rifle or other object. The portable support mount attaches to and is held level on a surface by means of a spring clamp and a stabilization bar with bumpers made of rubber attached to the ends of the stabilization bar. The spring clamp is fused to a support tube housing a rod that can vary the height of the mount. On top of the rod is a detachable holding member on which a user places the forend of a rifle while aiming and firing it. In addition, the holding member can be removed from the portable support mount, and the rod can attach to a camera, telescope, small video camera, or other device.

The base structure also includes a second base member coupled to the first base member to allow the first base member and the upper support to rotate about an axis substantially perpendicular to the horizontal surface. The base structure further includes a third base member coupled to the second base member to allow the second base member to translate forward and backward with respect to the third base member.

Abstract: The fastening device of the present invention includes a base, two pawl shanks and two positioning rods. The base is formed with two hook portions and two base positioning holes. Each pawl shank is formed with a pawl positioning hole, and each pawl shank includes a pawl section and a hook section. Each positioning rod inserts in one of the base positioning holes and the pawl positioning hole of one of the pawl shanks, such that the pawl shanks are pivotable about the positioning rods respectively. Each hook portion and its corresponding hook section define a pad clamp, and the pawl sections define a tube clamp. The fastening device further includes a means for narrowing the pad clamps and the tube clamp.

Abstract: A stand for a musical instrument is sturdy, durable and easy to construct. The stand supports a musical instrument, such as a guitar, in a substantially upright, readily accessible manner. In one embodiment, the stand is easy to disassemble for ready transport or store in a low volume configuration. One variant of a stand includes a base for supporting a lower section of a musical instrument and a detachable neck that engages an upper section of the musical instrument, and which may optionally be articulated. The base includes a front support rod, a back support rod spaced apart and extending parallel to the front support rod and a pair of side support rods extending between and connecting the front support rod and the back support rod. A plurality of legs extend from the base to provide stability. The neck support can be magnetically secured to the base in a substantially upright position when the stand is in an assembled configuration.

Abstract: The present invention provides a portable electronic device holder. A lower adapter support piece supports two lower adapter arms. An upper adapter arm is supported by a adjustable rod. An adjustment fitting is connected to the lower adapter support piece and the adjustable rod is slidingly connected to the adjustment fitting and can be slid up and down by utilization of finger force. A portable electronic device is mounted and held secure as it is squeezed between the upper adapter arm and the two lower adapter arms. In a preferred embodiment the portable electronic device holder is mounted by either inserting the adjustable rod into a hollow pedestal attached to a base or by attaching the lower adapter arm support piece to a dual T mount of a separate mounting device.

Abstract: An adjustable laptop holder having an adjustable tray so as to allow a user to adjust the height of a laptop screen. The adjustable laptop can comprise a base, a shaft, a tray, a friction pack, and a clutch bearing. The friction pack attaches the shaft to the base. The clutch bearing has an inner race coupled to the shaft and an outer race which engages the tray. The adjustable laptop holder having features of the present invention allows a user to freely rotate the tray into the open position yet resists returning to the closed position, effectively locking the laptop holder in the desired position.

Abstract: Some embodiments teach a computing device accessory for a computing device. The computing device accessory can include: (a) a base having: (1) a base plate configured to rest on a surface; and (2) a base rear support coupled to the base plate at a first angle; (b) a top support having: (1) a top plate; and (2) a top rear support coupled to the top plate at a second angle; and (c) a connector collar configured to removably couple to the base rear support of the base and the top rear support of the top support. The top support can be configured to support the computing device such that the computing device is operable by a user when the base plate rests on the surface, the base rear support of the base and the top rear support of the top support are coupled to the connector collar. Other embodiments and methods are also disclosed herein.

The display stand includes a base configured for attachment to a support surface and an upright extending from the base. The security cable extends from the base through an internal passageway defined by the upright to the merchandise. The upright has an arcuate or an angled shape relative to the support surface and the angled exit path forms an acute angle with a central axis between about fifteen and about seventy-five degrees. A sensor housing may be disposed between an upper end of the security cable and the merchandise and configured for attachment to the merchandise. A first displacement sensor may be provided for indicating whether the base is separated from the support surface and a second displacement sensor may be provided for indicating whether the merchandise is separated from the sensor housing.

Abstract: A stand for an electrical box is provided to maintain an electrical box having at least one hub a predetermined distance from a concrete form prior to and during the concrete being poured. The stand has extensions with ribs thereon at different longitudinal positions from the base permitting the electrical box to be supported by the stand at different heights with respect to the concrete form to permit access to the hubs of the electrical box with electrical tubing and to accommodate concrete slabs of different thicknesses using the same height of electrical box. The electrical box and stand assembly have a locking mechanism to lock the electrical box to the stand at the selected predetermined distance from the form. The locking mechanism has hooks which engage indentations on mounting tabs of the electrical box. The mounting tabs have grooves which guide the hooks to the indentations.

Abstract: A hinge assembly includes a shaft, a resisting member, and an engaging member. The resisting member is sleeved on the shaft. The resisting member comprises a sleeve portion and a warped portion. The warped portion comprises a root connected to an edge of the sleeve portion and a free end away from the sleeve portion. The warped portion gradually deflects towards a side of the sleeve portion from the root to the free end. The engaging member is sleeved on the shaft to resist the warped portion of the resisting member. The engaging member and the resisting member are rotatable relative to each other.

Abstract: A supporting rack having a compensating mechanism includes a rack body, an action force compensating assembly, a transmission element and a supporting plate. The rack body has a base and support arms. The action force compensating assembly is provided in the rack body. The elastic element is firmly connected to the base. One end of the dragging piece is connected to the hooking plate. The rotating piece is provided on a distal end of the support arm. The other end of the dragging piece is connected to the rotating piece. One end of the transmission element is firmly connected to the rotating piece and pivoted on the support arm. Via the above arrangement, an appropriate force can be applied to the supporting plate. When the user intends to adjust the supporting plate, the elastic element can generate an effect for compensating the action force, thereby providing a better operation feeling.

The piston shaft includes a first end received in the cylinder body, and a second end opposite to the first end connected to the sliding structure. The first piston is positioned in the cylinder body and partitions the cylinder body into two chambers. The two chambers are filled with gas. The first piston is fixed to the first end of the piston shaft and defines a through hole for communicating the two chambers.
