Abstract: A system can receive a request to modify a universal integrated circuit card, generate a package comprising configuration data for modifying the universal integrated circuit card, instruct an over-the-air system to transmit the package encrypting the package with a transport key to generate an encrypted package, and transmit the encrypted package to a communication device communicatively coupled to the universal integrated circuit card to provision the universal integrated circuit card. The system can provide a mobile network operator trusted service manager system information relating to the configuration data to enable the mobile network operator trusted service manager system to manage content and memory allocation of the universal integrated circuit card.

Abstract: A computer implemented method enables smooth transition of video playback with page flip action within a digital magazine. The method comprises steps of monitoring a user's interactions with a video content item displayed on a current page of the digital magazine. Upon detecting a user flipping the current page to a next page, the video content item is paused, a graphics resource used for rending the video content item is disabled and a current video frame of the video content item is captured. Abstract: Embodiments are directed are towards the transparent summarization of events. Queries directed towards summarizing and reporting on event records may be received at a search head. Search heads may be associated with one more indexers containing event records. The search head may forward the query to the indexers the can resolve the query for concurrent execution. If a query is a collection query, indexers may generate summarization information based on event records located on the indexers. Event record fields included in the summarization information may be determined based on terms included in the collection query. If a query is a stats query, each indexer may generate a partial result set from previously generated summarization information, returning the partial result sets to the search head. Collection queries may be saved and scheduled to run and periodically update the summarization information.

Abstract: Computing resources may automatically generate a rough draft of storyboard by using textual analysis to extract meaning from a screenplay. The users may include a community of different individuals who contribute content and suggest modifications to the storyboard. Pagination of the screenplay and location of dialogue and action on the pages of the screenplay may be used to create a timeline for the storyboard and any accompanying audio.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to quantification of subjective experiences. A method for quantifying a subjective experience may include outputting an adjustable graphic that is continuously adjustable between differing states. The position of a selector may be manipulated to cause the adjustable graphic to be substantially simultaneously manipulated between the differing states to produce an adjusted graphic. Thus, a user may match the adjustable graphic to his or her subjective experience regarding a particular topic. The position of the adjustable graphic may be stationary, and thus independent of the position of the selector. A scaled value corresponding to the adjusted graphic may be calculated to quantify the subjective experience.

Abstract: Generally, this disclosure provides systems, devices, methods and computer readable media for calibration of an eye tracking system. In some embodiments, the method may include analyzing a video stream received from a scene facing camera to detect moving objects and estimate angular locations of the moving objects. The method may also include receiving images from an eye tracking camera and estimating gaze angles of a user's eye, based on the images. A new, updated on-screen image is computed dynamically, by combining cached images of the respective display objects. When the appearance of a current display object must change in response to the event, an updated image of the respective object is cached for future use.

Abstract: A three-dimensional medical image is obtained, and displayed on a display screen. An input position by a user on the display screen and an input operation by the user are received. If the received input position is located in a center region of the display screen, rotation processing is performed on the three-dimensional medical image based on the received input operation. If the received input position is located in a region other than the center region, region specification processing is performed on the displayed three-dimensional medical image based on the received input operation. The region specification processing specifies a closed curve on the display screen based on the received input operation, and deletes a part of the three-dimensional medical image, and the part being an inside or an outside of a cylinder extending from the specified closed curve toward the depth direction of the display screen.
Abstract: Whether or not a received drawing instruction is an instruction which needs an arithmetic operating process with a background portion is discriminated. When it is determined that the received drawing instruction is not the instruction which needs the arithmetic operating process with the background portion, the drawing instruction is converted into a drawing command and transmitted to a printing apparatus, and the received drawing instruction is stored as intermediate data. When it is determined that the received drawing instruction is the instruction which needs the arithmetic operating process with the background portion, the intermediate data which relates to the received drawing instruction is extracted from the intermediate data stored by the storing step, a drawing command in which the arithmetic operating process of the received drawing instruction has been executed to the extracted intermediate data is formed and transmitted to the printing apparatus.
Abstract: Various embodiments disclose an in-message application facilitating the use of third-party application programming interfaces (APIs). In particular, these in-message applications (referred to as “cards”) may be designed by a developer to access third-party API functionality. A user may then create a message referencing, e.g., a web address associated with the developer's card. The system may receive the user's message and recognize the reference. The system may then distribute an instantiation of the card to various recipients, the instantiation including elements generated using, or providing the user access to, the third party functionality.

Abstract: A computer-implemented medical visualization method includes identifying a three-dimensional model of an anatomical item of a particular mammal; displaying a moving animation of the three-dimensional model, the moving animation created from multiple frames from imaging of the anatomical item over a short time period to capture movement of the anatomical item; displaying one or more non-moving views of the three-dimensional model while the moving animation is being displayed; and in response to receiving inputs from a user, changing the displayed moving animation and the one or more non-moving views automatically in coordination with each other.

Abstract: Techniques for displaying multimedia data during operating system initialization are described. In some embodiments, a method may comprise initializing a computing system, initializing a media playback system of the computing system using a first processor circuit and initializing an operating system of the computing system using a second processor circuit. In various embodiments, during the operating system initialization, one or more multimedia streams may be outputted using the media playback system. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
