  • Patent number: 10614048
Abstract: Techniques are described for determining correlations between data in a repository system. The data may include information about corresponding to resources (e.g., an application, a process, a service, an endpoint, or a method) in a computing environment. A correlation between objects can indicate a similarity or a relationship based on one or more of the attributes of each object that is correlated. The repository system can store information about each object in a data structure, such as an entity, including the attributes about the object. The repository system can determine the relationships between entities based on correlations identified from the attributes of entities. The repository system can perform correlations based on groups of entities corresponding to a group of objects. Upon determining that two groups of entities match, the repository system can compare individual entities in the groups to identify correlations between individual entities corresponding to objects that are correlated.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to applications for facial recognition technology and facial overlays to provide gesture-based music track generation. Facial detection technology may be used to analyze a video, to detect a face, and to track the face as a whole (and/or individual features of the face). The features may include, e.g., the locations of the mouth, direction of the eyes, whether the user is blinking, the location of the head in three dimensional space, the movement of the head, etc. Expressions and emotions may also be tracked. Features/expressions/emotions meeting certain conditions may trigger an event, where events may cause a predetermined musical element to play (e.g., drum beat, piano note, guitar chord, etc.). The sum total of the musical elements played may result in the creation of a musical track. The application of events may be balanced based on musical metrics in order to provide a fluent sound.

  • Patent number: 10601571
Abstract: A method for synchronizing sensor data of a sensor system with the host time base of a host system, based on the clock ratio of the sensor time base to the host time base. To ascertain the clock ratio for at least two communication events, a time stamp acquisition is performed for each event, in which a sensor time stamp and a host time stamp is recorded. The communication events for ascertaining the clock ratio relate to a specific quantity of data. The ratio is ascertained/updated repeatedly; the duration of the individual communication events for the time stamp acquisition are measured; and by comparing each measured duration to a comparison value, possible irregularities in the communication event are detected. The host time stamp of a time stamp acquisition is corrected/replaced by a calculated host time stamp based on the measured irregularities. Also described is a related device for the method.
