  • Patent number: 10332089
Abstract: Frames of sensor data may be obtained from many sensors arranged throughout a facility. These frames may be time synchronized to support further processing. For example, frames containing image data obtained at about the same time from many cameras within the facility may be used to create an aggregate or “stitched” view of the facility at that time. The synchronization may involve storing the frames from several sensors in buffers. A time window may be specified and used in conjunction with timestamps of the frames to select a set of sensor data from the buffers that are deemed to be synchronized data. The synchronized data may then be used for further processing.

  • Patent number: 10044922
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a hardware system for inverse graphics capture. An inverse graphics capture system (IGCS) captures data regarding a physical space that can be used to generate a photorealistic graphical model of that physical space. In certain approaches, the system includes hardware and accompanying software used to create a photorealistic six degree of freedom (6DOF) graphical model of the physical space. In certain approaches, the system includes hardware and accompanying software used for projection mapping onto the physical space. In certain approaches, the model produced by the IGCS is built using data regarding the geometry, lighting, surfaces, and environment of the physical space. In certain approaches, the model produced by the IGCS is both photorealistic and fully modifiable.

  • Patent number: 10038872
Abstract: DVM system is configured to include an incident trigger, which is actuated either manually or automatically in response to an “incident”. In the case of manual actuation, the definition of an incident may be subjectively determined by an operator (for example based on training and/or protocols). In the case of automatic actuation, an incident is defined by predefined criteria (for example a signal from analytics software, and alarm, or the like). In response to the actuation of the trigger, an incident identifier is defined. During the period of actuation, a plurality of recordings is automatically made, based on an incident recording protocol. These recordings are all associated with the incident identifier. The automation allows an operator to, at the time of the incident, focus on factors other than ensuring important video evidence is being recorded (such as following a subject through a building by looking at various cameras).

  • Patent number: 10010797
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for at least partially automating content generation of blog entries chronicling an entity's interaction with a multiuser environment. The same may combine automatic data generation with user-generated and/or user-edited or created narrative. The systems and methods may be employed for automatically generating and publishing descriptions, such as posting blog articles. In one implementation, a system automatically posts blog articles with automatic screenshots and automatically-generated descriptive copy of events that occur within a video game, such as in a massive multiplayer online role-playing game.

  • Patent number: 10009532
Abstract: This invention refers to forest video monitoring. A distributed system for forest video monitoring and a method for fire detection implemented by it have been proposed. The system comprises: multiple video servers, with each video server maintaining at least one video camera; at least one object server; and multiple computer terminals. According to the method, such a video server is used to: receive video data from its video camera; analyze the video data in order to detect signs of fire; when detecting signs of fire, create a potentially hazardous data object related to the possible fire detected, with reference to the video data where signs of fire have been detected; and send the data object created to an object server.

  • Patent number: 9984444
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for correcting image distortion of a lens, including an input unit for receiving image information, a segmentation unit for segmenting the image information into one or more image subdivision units, a setting unit for setting a center of the image information, a controller for shifting each of the one or more image subdivision units by a variation ratio with respect to the center of the image information, an interpolation unit for inserting one or more image subdivision units corresponding to the shifted image subdivision units into an interpolation space generated between the shifted image subdivision units, and an output unit for outputting corrected image information. According to an embodiment of the present invention, by shifting one or more image subdivision units by a variation ratio, operation logic for coordinate calculation and internal memory logic may be minimized, and implementation complexity may be lowered.

Abstract: A digital video system including one or more video cameras and a video server connected to the one or more video cameras is disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, the video server includes a computer having a central processing unit (CPU) for executing machine instructions and a memory for storing machine instructions that are to be executed by the CPU. The machine instructions when executed by the CPU implement a number of functions including identifying a failure mode of one or more cameras from one or more failure modes and executing a contingency function from one or more contingency functions based on the identification of the failure mode. The failure mode may be selected from a first, second and third failure mode. The contingency function may be selected from a first and second contingency function.
