Fault Recovery Patents (Class 370/216)
  • Patent number: 12389244
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with multiple transmission reception points (TRPs). The UE may receive control signaling indicating a reference signal configuration. The reference signal configuration, the control signaling, or both may indicate one or more beam failure detection (BFD) reference signals and a quasi co-location (QCL) type associated with a set of BFD reference signal sets. Each BFD reference signal set of the set of BFD reference signal sets may be associated with a respective TRP. The UE may detect a beam failure based on receiving a BFD reference signal set using one or more beams according to the QCL type associated with the BFD reference signal set. The UE may initiate a beam failure recovery procedure based on detecting the beam failure.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may communicate with a network node via a first wireless link using a first beam according to a first beam configuration. In some examples, the first UE may transmit to the network node via a second wireless link with a second UE, a beam failure recovery (BFR) message in response to identifying a beam failure for the first beam. As such, the UE may receive, a message indicating a second beam configuration. For example, the network node transmit to the first UE via a third wireless link, the second beam configuration including a second beam for the first UE to use to communicate. Additionally, or alternatively, the network node may transmit to the second UE, a signal indicating for the second UE to relay traffic between the network node and the first UE.

Abstract: Techniques for calculating risk scores of entity assignments are discussed herein. The system generates a probability matrix using a collaborative filtering technique such as singular value decomposition. The probability matrix is populated with probability values for each entity representing a probability that, based on the various relationships or associations of that entity with other entities, the entity has been granted an assignment. Risk values are used to provide a weighting value to assignments, separating relatively higher risk assignments from relatively lower risk assignments. The system thereafter calculates a risk score for one or more of the entities using the information in the assignment matrix, the probability matrix, and the risk values. The system can flag or identity one or more entities whose risk scores do not meet various criteria.

  • Patent number: 12177924
Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate reduced frequency of triggering a RLF (Radio Link Failure) timer and/or a false RLF procedure via employing one or more mechanisms for associating BFR (Beam Failure Recovery) and RLF. A first mechanism that can be employed in various embodiments can perform one or more RLF-related actions (e.g., stopping a T310 timer, resetting a N310 counter) upon BFR success. A second mechanism that can be employed in various embodiments can comprise revising one or more RLF parameters (e.g., N310, N311, T310, Out-of-sync threshold, in-sync threshold, etc.) based on the presence of a strong BFR mechanism.

  • Patent number: 12167485
Abstract: A user device connected to a wireless network maintains session persistence through a MAC address change of a user device. The user device establishes a multi-path communication session including a first subflow associated with a first MAC address for the user device. When the user device changes from the first MAC address to a second MAC address, the user device establishes a second subflow of the multi-path communication session. The second subflow is associated with the second MAC address. After establishing the second subflow associated with the second MAC address, the user device ends the first subflow associated with the first MAC address.

  • Patent number: 12158687
Abstract: A system includes primary and secondary devices (e.g., camera controllers that drive voice coil motors) each having respective outputs and a communication link. The primary device includes first and second hardware timers, each of which expires at a time derived from a periodic control loop trigger. At first timer expiration, the primary transmits first updated values to the secondary. At second timer expiration, primary device hardware picks up and applies second updated values to the primary device outputs. In response to receiving the first updated values from the primary device, the secondary device applies the received first updated values to its outputs. The primary/secondary device combination provide a sufficient number of total outputs that they could not individually provide and further synchronize the outputs with small skew through the timers, which are programmable to also accommodate processing of inputs (e.g., from voice coil motor sensors) to compute the outputs.
