  • Patent number: 10861117
Abstract: The relative health of data storage drives may be determined based, at least in some aspects, on data access information and/or other drive operation information. In some examples, upon receiving the operation information from a computing device, a health level of a drive may be determined. The health level determination may be based at least in part on operating information received from a client entity. Additionally, a storage space allocation instruction or operation may be determined for execution. The allocation instruction or operation determined to be performed may be based at least in part on the determined health level.

  • Patent number: 10856024
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for synchronizing audio feeds. A system obtains a plurality of audio feeds and identifies a base feed, a first feed, a base segment, and a first segment. The system also determines a plurality of time-shifted first segments that are each temporally offset from the first segment by a unique multiple of a granularity parameter. A plurality of correlation values between the base segment and each of the plurality of time-shifted first segments are also determined, as well as a first offset value corresponding to a particular time-shifted first segment of the plurality of time-shifted first segments having the highest correlation value. The first feed and/or supplemental content of the first feed is then synchronized with the base feed by at least temporally offsetting the first feed and/or supplemental content of the first feed by a temporal offset comprising/based on the selected first offset value.

One or more audio criteria that characterize the event are used to detect events using the audio track and an offset timestamp is recorded for each detected event. A set of offset timestamps may be produced for a set of detected events of the video file. The set of offset timestamps for the set of detected events may be used to time align and time adjust a set of real timestamps for a set of established events for the same video file. A user interface (UI) is provided that allows quick and easy search and playback of events of interest across multiple video files.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for performing a calibration process for synchronizing audio signals with video signals. The calibration process may be performed between one or more devices of an entertainment system and a handheld device. Device(s) (e.g., a television and speaker(s)) of the entertainment system are configured to playback video signal(s) and audio signal(s), respectively. The handheld device is configured to determine an amount of synchronization error between the audio signal and the video signal, determine a synchronization correction value based on the determined amount, and provide the synchronization correction value to device(s) of the entertainment system. The device(s) may use the synchronization correction value to correct the delay between the video signal and the audio signal such that the video signal and the audio signal are synchronized.

  • Patent number: 9508386
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to synchronize audio signals with video images that are replayed with a modified motion. In a method, a trajectory is determined for each audio object of an audio signal. The method also determines each of the audio objects to be a transient or non-transient object. The method also causes a respective audio object to be differently extended depending upon whether the audio object is determined to be a transient object or a non-transient object, thereby synchronizing video signals that are to be played back with a predefined motion. The method causes the respective audio object to be differently extended by splitting the transient object into transient segments, inserting silent segments therebetween and maintaining the trajectories of the transient object and/or by repeating the non-transient object with a trajectory that varies based on the predefined motion of the video signals.
