  • Patent number: 8103145
Abstract: A decoding apparatus and method for producing a browsable slide show and a data storage medium therefor. The decoding apparatus having a mainstream decoder, which decodes mainstream packet data including image data to be reproduced in a browsable slide show; a sub-audio decoder, which decodes sub-audio packet data including audio data attached to the image data; a mainstream system time clock (STC) counter, which provides an STC sequence for controlling the decoding time of the mainstream packet data to the mainstream decoder; and a sub-audio STC counter, which provides an STC sequence for controlling the decoding time of the sub-audio packet data to the sub-audio decoder. Accordingly, it is possible to seamlessly reproduce sub-audio data even when a user selects a forward or reverse play in the middle of reproducing still image data with the sub-audio data attached thereto in a browsable slide show.

  • Patent number: 8098972
Abstract: In a feedforward control type reproduced signal processor, a clock generator 1 changes a clock frequency, depending on a digital value set by a digital value generator 7. Therefore, power consumption of a system is optimized and control is facilitated. Moreover, when a frequency lock state is established in which a frequency ratio calculated by a frequency ratio calculator 3 satisfies a set condition, a modulation component having a small change is generated using a clock of a clock generator 1. Therefore, the digital value is updated with the modulation component, so that a change in clock frequency of the clock generator 1 gradually varies. As a result, the influence of the change in clock frequency on the response of a decoding process is reduced.

Abstract: A broadcast management system creates, manages, and streams a broadcast of an event from videos captured from multiple cameras. A video capture system comprising multiple cameras captures videos of the event and transmits the videos to a broadcast management server. The broadcast management server generates a website or other graphical interface that simultaneously displays the captured videos in a time-synchronized manner. A broadcast manager user creates a broadcast by selecting which video to output to the broadcast at any given time. A broadcast map is stored for each broadcast that includes all of the broadcast decisions made by the broadcast manager user such that the broadcast can be recreated at a later time by applying the broadcast map to the raw videos.
