  • Patent number: 10363695
Abstract: The present invention provides a mold movement control mechanism which is suitable for being assembled in mold to drive the plates of the mold to move. The mold movement control mechanism has a rotatable engaging member and two moving members. In one predetermined travel section, the engaging member is kept unable to rotate. The moving members are then engaged and moved together by the engaging member. After the moving members and the engaging member are moved across the predetermined travel section, the engaging member become rotatable, and the moving members are moved independently. Thus, the mold movement control mechanism can control the positions and travel paths of the moving members without spring. Manufacturing tolerance and maintenance cost could be both lowered.

  • Patent number: 9216526
Abstract: An injection compression molding system includes a mold having a fixed first half and a displaceable second half. The second half is initially positioned with a cavity between the mold halves having a first clearance sized to receive a molten material puddle shot injected by an injection molding device without the puddle shot filling the cavity. A displacement device acts during or immediately after puddle shot injection, displacing the second mold half toward the first mold half creating a second clearance less than the first clearance. The second clearance defines a finished part thickness whereby displacement of the second mold half to the second clearance compresses the puddle shot so that the puddle shot fills the cavity and forms a finished part between the mold halves. Total time to inject and compress the puddle shot is less than or equal to 1.0 seconds.

Abstract: The vertical injection molding machine is provided with an electric servomotor which moves an injection drive unit up and down accompanying the rotation of a driven pulley via a ball screw mechanism, a timing belt by which the drive force of the electric servomotor is transmitted, and a driven pulley on which the timing belt is rotated, wherein an arc groove is formed on the driven pulley, and an election pin is provided which is inserted to the arc groove of the driven pulley when the timing belt is disconnected. When the election pin is inserted to the arc groove, the tip of the election pin applies pressure on an inclined portion by means of elastic force of a spring, slowing the rotational speed of the driven pulley and stopping the injection drive unit by an inner wall surface of the slowed driven pulley colliding with the ejection pin.

Abstract: An injection molding apparatus includes, as its drive sources, an electric power supply source, compressed air source and hydraulic pressure supply source. A hydraulic-pressure-supply-destination selection section supplies hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure supply source to a selected one of first and second mold clamping cylinders. Necessary capacity of the hydraulic pressure supply source can be lowered as compared to a case where all of the mold clamping mechanisms and injecting machines are driven by hydraulic pressure. Because only a selected one of the mold clamping mechanisms is driven at a time, the necessary capacity of the hydraulic pressure supply source can be halved as compared to a case where the mold clamping mechanisms are driven simultaneously.
