Abstract: A pipette tip comprises a tubular body including an inner circumference and an outer circumference. The tubular body comprises a bottom opening defined at a bottom end of the tubular body and a top opening defined at a top end and configured to clamp onto an attachment of a pipetting device. A seat region is positioned proximate the top opening on the inner circumference and configured to engage an attachment of a pipetting device. At least one groove is defined on the outer circumference. The tubular body is configured to plastically expanded in a radial direction within the at least one groove upon mounting the seat region on the attachment. The attachment comprises a larger diameter than at least part of the seat region to form an interference fit between the attachment and the at least part of the seat region when the pipette tip is clamped onto the attachment.

Abstract: A battery pack and an electric apparatus are disclosed. The battery pack includes a cell dummy and multiple battery cells, a housing, a mounting beam, and a support beam. The housing is provided with an accommodating cavity, and the cell dummy and the multiple battery cells are all disposed in the accommodating cavity. The mounting beam is disposed in a length direction of the accommodating cavity and defines, together with the accommodating cavity, a mounting space for accommodating the cell dummy and the multiple battery cells. The support beam is disposed in a width direction of the accommodating cavity and is mounted in a manner of fitting with the cell dummy. The cell dummy being provided with the support beam perpendicular to the mounting beam can enhance structural strength of the battery pack in the width direction of the accommodating cavity.

These bolts are rotated to abut on the abutting part, so that the relative position between the rear plate and the motor fixing member can be adjusted.

Abstract: A thermoplastic injection molding system and method of use is described for molding parts from heated plastics and other organic resins. The machine uses heat sources located along the barrel to heat the source material while an auger screw transports the source material in the barrel. This transport step does not shear the source material, nor does it use friction to produce the heat necessary to melt the source material. The material becomes substantially liquid or melted during the heating process, and the melted material is forced, by the auger screw, into a chamber whereupon a plunger, situated concentrically with the auger screw, injects the material from the chamber into a mold. Sensors located along the barrel and in the chamber ensure consistency between mold cycles. The controller dynamically adjusts the injection molding process to achieve more consistent and reliable molded parts.

Abstract: There is described a method of dosing a lens forming material into a mold (1;21), which comprises dosing a metered amount of a lens forming material (P) including a volatile solvent into a mold cavity (4) enclosed by a female mold half (2) and a male mold half of a mold (1;21). The lens forming material (P) is subsequently polymerized and/or cross-linked to form an ophthalmic lens, in particular a contact lens. Dosing of the lens forming material (P) into the mold cavity (4) is accomplished while the mold halves (2, 3) are associated with each other substantially gas-tight. There is also described an apparatus for carrying out the method.

When the die is practically used for injection molding, a load applied to a peripheral portion of the plate glass during the injection molding is reduced, so that when the frame is molded onto the plate glass by injection molding, undesired breakage of the plate glass is suppressed.

The invention proposes to provide the link with pinions which are received in support eyelets with an intermediary space there between. Abstract: A method of preparing an aluminum mold for injection molding is provided, the method comprises the steps of providing an aluminum mold having a least one surface, subjecting the at least one surface to a gas or liquid phase silane to thereby form an anti-stiction coating, the anti-stiction coating comprising a chemically bonded monolayer of silane compounds on the at least one surface wherein the silane is a halogenated silane. The at least one surface coated with the anti-stiction coating may be configured to withstand an injection molding process at a pressure above 100 MPa. Furthermore, a mold having at least one closed cavity is provided, at least one surface of the at least one cavity being an aluminium surface coated with a silane based coating layer. The resistance of the coated aluminium mold is significantly improved by applying a silane-based coating layer.

The cooling runner includes a main section that is formed with an inlet, and a tapering section that extends from the main section in a lengthwise direction and that is formed with an outlet in spatial communication with the cavity. The inlet has an axial direction that is not parallel with the lengthwise direction, thereby the plastic material having a flow direction that is changed when a plastic material is fed into the cooling runner through the inlet.

The precision cassette plate is designed with two pre-alignment holes and two precision position anti-rotational features that guarantee accurate placement of the precision cassette plate each time at each stage of the manufacturing/assembly process.

Abstract: A mold for forming a prosthesis is disclosed. The mold can include a stem portion, a head portion, and a securement assembly. The stem portion and the head portion can be provided in a kit having a variety of different interior dimensions so that a user can select or customize a mold cavity size based on the dimensions of a particular implant site of a patient. While a set of stem portions and head portions can have interior dimensions of varying sizes, each of the stem portions and each of the head portions can have the same or similar exterior dimensions for attachment using a common securement structure. Related methods are also disclosed.

A molding part is processed on a surface of the mold formed of a metal or engineering plastic material, but not formed of a glass material, to mold the decorative outer panel of a refrigerator having at least partial three-dimensional shape. Thus, the decorative outer panel having a three-dimensional shape or pattern may be formed through a simple process without performing a post-processing process.

By disposing the film gate 42 on the radially outer side of the meshing portion 3 with a sufficient space between, it is possible to control the flow rate of the molten resin during molding, thereby suppressing an occurrence of weld.
