Abstract: A packaging and method for controlling the seal strength between two cooperating thermo-sealable films at predetermined sealing portions, where a predetermined amount of heat is applied over a predetermined period of time. The resulting packaging is resealable after the first separation of two surfaces. The strength of the seal controlled by defining the number and dimensions of a plurality of restricted areas without a material cover that is resistant to the thermo-seal effect. The restricted area can be defined with a plurality of dots of predetermined selected shapes and dimensions. The resulting article facilitates the rupture of the packaging along a predetermined path. With this process, a fixed predetermined heat and residency time can be chosen and the seal strength can still be varied in different areas of a packaging. Non-sealable microdots with a predetermined amount of adhesive deposits also covered by a polypropylene powder deposit permit its resealing.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a new manufacturing process for a FRP honeycomb structure where the honeycomb core assembly is arranged parallel to the surface. The honeycomb core is made from FRP prepreg with double structural walls and is manufactured by stiffening using heat and pressure. In a honeycomb core assembly set tank, a plurality of internal tanks are gathered in honeycomb core assembly. An internal tank FRP wall maintains the pressure of the internal tank, while an external FRP wall, heat foamed plastic resin and rigid FRP hull of set tank endure the external shock loading. A honeycomb core structure of six-corner cell can be infinitely arranged, and its structural position is unique. A set tank in which a plurality of internal tanks are gathered into a honeycomb core assembly can be arranged in infinite combinations, such that the total capacity can be extremely large.

Abstract: The technical problem to be solved is to change the thickness of the colored resin layer of the preform gradually in the upward or downward direction, by utilizing a tendency of gradual decrease in the thickness of the colored resin layer caused by the flow of the main resin inside the preform mold when the main resin and the colored resin are injected into the mold. This involves adjusting the injection pattern including the time of starting and ending the supply of the main resin and the colored resin, and pressure or velocity profiles, reducing the thickness of the colored resin layer gradually upstream or downstream, injection-molding the preform in which a color-gradated portion associated with the thickness of the colored resin layer has been formed, and biaxially drawing and blow molding this preform into a bottle having a color-gradated portion.
Abstract: The method for making a reinforced balloon for a balloon catheter involves blending a polymer with a nano composite to form a composite matrix, extruding a parison from the composite matrix, blow molding the parison into a balloon and orienting the nano composite generally axially with respect to the balloon.
