One exemplary method includes receiving, by a gaming server, data representative of gaming activity of a player of the at least one game, providing, by the gaming server, a code associated with the random reward, wherein the code is representative of an entry to win the random reward, receiving, by the gaming server, data representative of a text message including the code, determining whether the player won the random reward based on the received code, and providing a notification indicating whether the player won the random reward.

Abstract: Advanced user experience study can be accomplished by enabling recording on a device such as a smart phone, providing a participant with one or more survey questions and a task. Typically, the participants are recorded and redirected to a starting URL. The recording can be terminated when the participant reaches a validation condition. Results, for example, videos, survey results, click flows, and heat maps may be filterable across any participant feature or any study validation criteria. Validation criteria includes time taken to complete a given action, ending up at a particular URL (or class of URLs), based upon question answers, or any combination thereof. These criteria can be classified as either a successful completion of the study, or a failed attempt. Additionally, the validation criteria can also include a decision by the participant to abandon the study.

The cards in the deck may contain the player scores for a set of games or matches as well as other player-related information. The gaming system and device randomly generate a hand and randomly select one of the player's pre-determined scores for each of the cards. The user's score may be determined through a variety of methods utilizing the player scores on the cards in the user's hand. The outcome of the user's hand may be determined by matching the user's score with a pay table, or for a multi-user game, the outcome may be determined by finding the highest scorer among the participating users.

Portions of the desired transaction can be communicated to the lottery server separately from the Bluetooth network to limit the time spent by a mobile device communicating directly with the Bluetooth-enabled lottery transaction device. In various embodiments, the mobile device issues a disconnect call to the lottery transaction device directly after the desired lottery transaction has been communicated.

Embodiments of the present disclosure may implement recognition of stacked objects in a sequence.

The system preferably includes a host device in communication with at least a user device and a merchant device via the Internet.
